The only thing I dislike about Christian theology is the idea that God created us in his image and that we are somehow special. This idea disproves the existence of God; any omnipotent god would continue to create life in a infinitely large universe and would not be interested in bloggers on KH13. Sure, it might be slightly curious as to how evolution has proceeded on this world, but not the kind of personal relationship that people lie about. It's just a compelling lie created to make people convert to a way of life where you have less control over yourself than you deserve to have.

I find it beyond despicable when a mentally and physically disabled person uses their problem as an excuse for everything. It seems to be happening everywhere and the people that do it make the individuals with such disabilities, who are mature and have improved, look like terrible people. Yes, you need help. You are not entitled to special treatment and you have nothing to gain out of it. Please, for the love of God, stop.

 

Exactly. My boss tries to pull this every day, and everyday I end up getting into some kind of fight with him. But still, we get along.

 

My problem relates to this^. My boss' mom (who's my... sub-boss?) is one of those alternative-medicine-down-with-the-government people. Alternative medicine (homeopathy, etc.) doesn't work. I've been watching it for two years, and it doesn't work. And the one time I tried it myself, it firetrucking poisoned me, no joke. Not only that, but she tries to defend my boss' actions (like Apprey was talking about). Yes, he has a neurological conditon, but look at him. It's obvious that this is an intentional thing! I can't stand people who won't accept what's sitting right in front of them. My coworker even sees it! The only problem is, everyone keeps babying around with it. I treat him like I would anyone else, no fooling around. I say exactly what needs to be said, and respond to what he does like I would if he was anybody else. No BS, no pussyfooting around And guess what... it works. The only problem is, That I'm suddenly the bad guy because I treat someone like I would treat anyone else. And what's worse, is he uses that to his advantage. He knows that I'm the only one who will actually do anything real about his problems, and he just keeps on doing it. Which leads to the thing of adults acting like children. Tantrums won't get you anything. Period. And adults who do it just...

 

This turned into a rant more than anything, but at least I finally got it out. And there are enough opinions in there to satisfy the thread requirements, though... I need to finish school...

I hate West Side Story. It is so racist. Every time I hear the Jets singing about the Sharks, I want to punch them all.

 

I actually think some of the Disney Channel singers are good. Selena Gomez, Debbie Ryan, and Kelly Blatz all make great music.

but.. it is optional. ._. You can drop out anytime you want. You legally only have to go from kindergarten through eighth or in some places ninth grade.

 

I wish people didn't automatically assume that Kingdom Hearts is for little kids because it has Disney characters in it.

I mostly think just because the whole idea of gay marriage has spurred this huge storm and we could solve the whole problem by basically letting them marrying, but saying like "legal partners" or something. It'd stop all of this discrimination if we just used a different word. Basically the same thing as marriage though, just not saying "marriage". Then there wouldn't technically be such a thing so there couldn't be the protests against it, but they could still basically marry.

like I don't have a problem with anyone who comes over legally and takes the test and do good things and contribute to society. It's like all the illegal immigrants I see at the store who waste all this government money & don't get jobs & don't bother to learn English ect ect. Not you Koko I love you D:

things like that already exist (domestic partnerships, civil unions, etc.) but if it's the same thing as marriage, why not call it marriage? It just seems silly to me lol.

i'm not hating on your opinion, so don't take it that way. i'm just arguing my side. if they were to call it something other than marriage, that wouldn't end discrimination. In a way, it would be discrimination, because they aren't allowed to be labeled the same thing as everyone else.

I think Obama is what's good for America even if he hasn't done much.

I think Obama is what's good for America even if he hasn't done much.

I think North American mainstream music sucks and talks too much about sex.

Your ignorance is insulting as well as astounding. The name 'Canada' derives from the word 'kanata' which means 'village' in Iroquian. Canada is also one of the most liveable places in world. I know immigrants that say Canada is the best thing that happened to them.

I have my doubts. I was just talking about it with Doctor Ivan on chat and she thought similarly. I was talking about the way the US itself, not every American. I have nothing against Americans. 1. Agree, even I agree with this and I am an American. Heck they even said it.

2. Obama is a good president, not amazing but a good president. The way the media portrait him (*cough* Fox news *cough*) is just horrible.

3. Um only Asians? It is to all races, not only Asians. Society here is so bad that not even schools or police can do anything about it. (Drugs, Alcohol, Racism, Sexism, Hate on Sexual orientation, etc.)

4. The most famous ones are turning into songs about sex (Rihanna) but so far its changing for the better so far what I am hearing.

5. No country is better than the other, since we all have something bad in our country, imo.

It's mostly about where I come from. We have white, hispanics and black people at my school but because students in my school haven't had "exposure" to Asians, they often fall prey to the typical stereotypes. So when they find out my sister and I listen to K-Pop. . . . yeah.
