To balance out all the hatred and negativity and blah of my previous ramble, I shall share with the world all the stuff I love that may or may not be normal.

 

-I like MLP. I'm not a huge fan of the show itself, and the size of its fanbase in no way matches its quality, but I like how much fun the fanbase has with it when it's not being annoying.

-I like choppin' wood. No, seriously. There's something nice about being your own lumberjack. I mean, it's like exercise but it has tangible results, that being splintered logs.

-I loves me creepy stuff, ghosts and monster clowns in particular. I also love it when they're the protagonists, and I don't mean villain protagonists.

-Winter is my favorite season. I enjoy the cold for some reason. Fall is nice, too, for its atmosphere.

-I dislike character hate. Given how common it is to bash characters, I feel this is definitely an unpopular opinion. Unless it's a comedy series not meant to be taken seriously, it's hard for me to find a character unlikable or annoying because I believe they all bring something to the plate. Granted, some may be more interesting and developed than others, but in that case I just ignore them in favor of what I do care about. Of course, there are exceptions, but I have a tendency to help the underdog.

-I love birdies. They're adorable! To me, at least. Doggies are cute, too, so are kitties when they're not being evil, but I don't think birdies get enough love. How can people not love a chicken?!

-I actually prefer the later generations of Pokemon. You gotta admit, at its heart, Pokemon's been the exact same fun game since its conception, but with each new generation, the game system becomes more and more refined. I daresay that, having experienced the more sophisticated presentation of the later generations, it's difficult for me to go back to playing the original Red/Blue/Yellow. Oh god I'm gonna die, aren't I?

-I like FFV. Even among old school FF fans, V is something that's largely ignored in favor of IV or VI. Say what you will about the story (if you've played it), but the job system in that game was fun.

-Soda soda soda soda soda soda. I don't drink as much as I used to these days, but still. Soda soda soda soda soda soda.

-Okay, so Sora might be cheesy or annoying at points, but... gah, I just can't hate the guy! Sora Sora Sora Sora Sora Sora.
