When people i know start chatting about sex, marriage, and kids, i'm just mentally screaming my head off.Seriously, I'm not thinking about marriage right now, i'm not even done with school. How the utter hell do people have their lives planned out already? This thread was meant to be a complaint thread anyways, or better yet sharing your side on a certain discussion you just came across that you were either annoyed, pissed, or otherwise and feel the need to post it here.

 

Its like when people put statuses like "Some people should learn how to respect others opinion" and trying not to make it obvious who it is specifically against like people do on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.

The Digimon fanbase is so poor in the US.

 

Saban sucks at dubbing names. The consistency is so piss poor that it's more obvious today compared to the older seasons. Can't say much on censorship besides a few scenes that make no sense to censor out. (Lillymon dancing for example. Gee... because kids would get the wrong impression/perverted thoughts/etc.) The only thing going for them is the voice dubs, and I still think they can do better.

I and many people have thought about the world too, and have found no evidence for it -- I don't mean anything that proves or disproves a god, I mean nothing that would indicate a god plays any factor at all. We've made sense of the world in a way that doesn't use a religious context. That's where atheism came from. Really, it's insulting to suggest we don't believe in god because we haven't "thought about it enough." We've thought plenty and this is the conclusion we came to.

You can look around the world and have a subjective opinion about it. You can see God, you can see life, you can see dirt, you can see bricks, everyone sees everything differently. There are always going to be two sides to something like religion. Those who believe in it, and those who don't. Same reason why there are different religions with different Gods and such, since not everyone is 100% exactly sure whether or not their religion is factual, they only believe so. That is why its a belief. There can also be people who don't believe in religion, that is a belief too. There isn't a right or wrong answer, its just what you believe.

Its through science, which has been used quite often. Even the pope acknowledges that science is right, he acknowledges that the big bang did happen.

A lot of other religious authorities have agreed with science. My teacher who is also a priest believes that Science is "the way to figure out how God made the universe".

Just take out the religious part and you got what most atheists use to explain their surroundings.
