The Unpopular Opinions Thread

Recommended Posts

Days was my favorite KH game. X_X Re:coded was fun due to game play variety, but it had my least favorite story in the series. It's game play advantages don't redeem it to the point where it was better than Days at all, in my opinion. Also, since we're on the subject, my opinion of KH game stories:CoM>KH1>Days>KH2>DDD>Re:coded EDIT:Sorry Shana, had to add my opinion. Can't just let Days get all that flak and not say something. xD

YES, THANK YOU!ABOUT TIME THERE'S ANOTHER RECOM FAN OTHER THAN ME.

I love re:coms story but the gameplay is a slap to my faceI love recoded as well, it doesn't add to much to the story but it was a fun break laid back type game.

The gameplay in Re:CoM is actually really fun if you're into strategic games. It's tough to learn and master, but it's really fun when you get the hang of it. It's not my favorite game (That'd be KHI), but it's possibly in my top 3.

Well if we are switching the discussion for KH game list...

BBS > KH2 > KH1 = Kh:Re:CoM > KHDDD > KHDays > KH:Re:Coded

Also I like Re:CoM, I felt it was a huge improvement over the original and I love the story and the gameplay. BBS is the shit tho, in both gameplay AND story. I love prequels that form such a strong background of the series/show like BBS.

So now this thread is "which kh game is the best" thread? xD

Anyway, to the unpopular opinions.

I think love just doesn't exist in the romantic sense. I think people often get confused and start calling 'lust' as 'love' when they're completely different things. It's nice to read about that in fiction but it just doesn't work like that in the real life.

It's annoying how all the nightmare before christmas stuff is marketed for "Girls age 11-12".

So if I like the film, i'm instantly a 12 year old girl?

Why is this even a thing? Does Disney just assume all the people watching are 12 year old girls in pink?

Way to gender AND age discriminate, Disney.

I think you might be looking into it a tad bit too much.

"Target demographic" doesn't always mean "the only ones who should or are able to like it." Marketing is its own world.

Well, explain this: 13 differeing types of Nbxmas shirts.

All for little girls. No other sizes or styles.

Why?

I think you might be looking into it a tad bit too much.

Just my opinion.

Because that's the market those t-shirts just happened to be for? Are they all at the same store or is it the same anywhere you shop? But even if it's the same across the board, it's easier for marketers to target who they think is most likely to buy those shirts, aka for little girls. As I said, marketing doesn't always reflect reality and it doesn't account for little nuances in demographics, like older teens.

Because, like Draco said, its the target demographic. They are aiming for little girls rather than older guys or girls. Its what makes them get more money.

Everywhere: My local mall, Walmart, and Kmart. Only that film, I should add.
