Why do people keep posting obviously popular opinions? Or are you lot trying to turn this into a circlejerk thread?

 

If the opinion I posted earlier on this page is "obviously popular" then I'm either hopelessly oblivious or mankind seriously has some issues it needs to sort out.

I wish stupid people would stop giving height related advice. "Ermagerd yu can onleh rech ur genatik height, anyting els is impasible lol". Stop  firetrucking living in the 19th century.
There has been a lot of research done to prove that genetics only determine your range and not the actual height you'll end up with. Protein, sleep, nutrition and avoiding things that stunt growth can ensure that you can grow taller than your genetic height(provided the growth plates are open).

People should at least try to do some research before they say something.( i admit i'm guilty of doing it in the past, but i've decided to change that).

Grand Theft Auto V was overrated .

As much as I hate the term "overrated", I have to agree with this very very slightly. I mean, sure- it is very technologically impressive, and a lot of fun. And the game is well known right now for the size of the map and the excellent attention to detail. But there will definitely be games coming out in the next few years that outdo it. And probably not too many people will look back at GTA5 and say, "wow, that's a great game." Because there will be games that do the same thing better as technology advances. Overall, I still enjoy the game though. 

(I had been thinking about this for a while, but your post just made me feel like saying something about it, haha)

I agree with ya . It is just that before its release people were like : " UHHHHH GTA V IS GONNA BE THE BEST GAME OF THE WORLD" and all that stuff .And now ,PC gamers are complaining a LOT .

Getting high is such a stupid thing to do. And those who strip for multiple people when they aren't even 18 should be ashamed of themselves.

 

Telling someone they should be ashamed of themselves over something that doesn't really harm anyone is pretty awful.

The people who are all for homosexuality and disagree with anti-gay statements tend to be hateful toward the people who disagree with homosexuality. While the people who disagree with homosexuality tend to mock people who are homosexual or who support homosexuality. Hatred breads more hate.

hatred doesnt breed more hate tho?? and thats honestly a really awful thing to say. it invalidates people who have been discriminated against and have had to work against their oppressors 

 

if i say i hate straight people then the worst thing that could happen is that i hurt someones feelings. LGBT people are killed and discriminated against all the time and them being hateful towards their oppressors is not unreasonable

Are you saying someone should be ashamed of being comfortable with their body and sexuality? If it's not hurting you, who cares? (same goes with getting high) If they're okay with it then why should you care? Someone can do whatever they want with their body. Personally, I don't like when people dye their hair green. I think it's an icky hair color. But that doesn't mean I have any right to tell them "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR DYING YOUR HAIR GREEN" it's their choice. It's their body. And I am not at all affected by that choice, so I don't have a right to tell them that their green hair is shameful. 

 

 

 

Anyway, personally I really dislike math at higher levels and, once you've learned all of the math necessary for normal life (probably stop around 10th grade/algebra 2), I think you should be allowed to choose whether to continue or not. I mean, I've learned all the math I need to at this point. What is some pre-calculus going to do for my future careers? It's not going to help me shoot down bad guys or lead a country. It's a completely useless class that I'm wasting hours fretting over. On that same thread, I love history. Why can't I drop math so I can take the civil war class going on during the same period?? Pre-calc is a useless skill for me, but hey, civil war class? A class that'll teach me about fighting and tactics and political decisions that can influence a war? Perfect! So why can't I take that instead of pre-calc?

I actually agree with Sora96 on the point about getting high. I just always thought it was a pretty pointless thing to do, a waste of time. I'm normally one of those people who are like "just let people live they want" etc., etc., but I just can't bring myself to say that in this case. I see about as much point in getting high as in getting drunk, and think doing both are just kinda... irresponsible. I think a lot of this comes from the fact that I mostly associate getting high with illegal (where I live) drugs, quite a few of which that I have to say, and I'm not going to sugarcoat it, are stupid to use. Yeah, there are drugs like marijuana which are apparently "safe" and are legal in some places, but I think I lump them all together in my mind. But yeah, I just don't approve of it. Like, if you do it, it's none of my business and don't tell me about it, and we'll be fine. If I did know, I'd try to treat you the same way, but I'd definitely lose some respect for you. And that's just the way I am. Some people might say it's unfair of me, but I've honestly tried to change that about myself and I just can't.

My stance on drugs is as follows: If you want something that will open up your mind and is proven to not hurt you, just use some Marijuana. Maybe don't smoke it, because that will still hurt your lungs, maybe vape it or something. But going into hard drugs like Meth and Heroin, come on, that's just... don't do it. That stuff CAN kill you, and it's addictive as hell. If you're in such a need for a high that marijuana doesn't do it for you, then you're overdoing it a bit.

 

But even if you do Marijuana, which is fine by me, don't make that your entire life. Get high if you want, but don't somehow bring the fact that you get high into every single conversation you have.

I apologize if anyone was offended by my unpopular opinion. I could have definitely worded it better but it was 1:14 AM and I was half asleep. Lol.

 

I still believe getting high is stupid as is stripping under the age of 18. But if you do either of those things that's your problem. I'm never going to do drugs or even drink alcohol for that matter, but if you want to that's your decision.

Personally I would never do drugs in my life, I just dislike them. If someone else is doing drugs, I wouldn't force them to change but if they clearly don't know the consequences then its a good idea to inform them so they wont stay ignorant on smoking. Just don't overdo it, overdoing anything isn't good at all.

But if the oppressor's hatred breeds the hatred of the oppressed then how does that not show an example of hatred breeding more hatred?

I think that depends on the age difference and I think the older men should be more ashamed considering they're the more experienced ones.

Oh that is completely true. I don't have anything personal against strippers, nor Escorts or Pornstars or any of the sort. I completely understand that some younger girls might realize what it is they are doing, but the ones that know they are in the wrong should be ashamed.

Let's be a bit honest here. "Being comfortable with your body and sexuality" isn't really the only reason someone would strip in public( I doubt it's really even a common reason). There's such a thing as "wanting attention" which is pretty much something everyone has. It's really just about what ways we go about attracting attention.Anyways, if I would ever discourage someone from stripping it's not because I think it'll ultimately lead to the fall of mankind, but I do believe it is possible to attract some seriously unwanted attention( Amanda Todd anybody?) and I sure as hell wouldn't want someone to get caught up in that kind of mess.Are you like not allowed to drop mathematics after the 11th grade in your school? o-o

I happened to come across this message of yours and I agree, it's really not good to overdo anything and I'm glad you brought it up because you may not want to hear this but you're overdoing your abuse towards me (gasp!) and you've become addicted to taking Winner's name in vain. Don't worry about me, I can take it, it's just...well I'd hate for you to go mad when Winner is no longer around for you to use and abuse. So I propose that (due to my nonaddictive personality) I continue mocking you, like always while you remain quiet. As a bonus we might just cure you of this filthy habit.
