The Unpopular Opinions Thread

"If you see this monster (Insert picture here), you will die. I just got lucky and managed to survive." Or, I think I've even read some where the author... did "die" during the work... How does that even make sense? ._.

I try to suspend my disbelief on everything unless if I have a good reason to point out their flaws, yet some how creepypasta is usually so bad it doesn't even let me do that.

I'm amazed that some people can even believe Creepypastas. Why the heck would there be a haunted GAME CARTRIDGE anyway?

Sometimes I do get disturbed by things in creepypastas, but then I think oh yeah, none of that could have actually happened. The story had way too many flaws.

None of them have really disturbed me. Pokemon: Strangled Red did YEARS ago, but that's really it. They're all too similar and flawed.

Not sure if it was an urban legend or creepy pasta, but the last thing I can remember that disturbed me was humans can lick too.  though that in itself was flawed. (I just didn't like the imagery of what happened to the dog)

Anyways on the topic of the thread... I think being a super hero would suck. Just a whole lot of work for little to no reward and way too many fans/haters. Though if superheroes were real and I had the choice to become one, I have no doubt I would choose to become one. (even though I think being one is overrated, and probably would quickly become a pain in the but)

As someone who gets freaked out by anything even mildly creepy, CreepyPastas have certainly scared me. None of the videogame ones, mind you, but

this one so much. And another where there was a kid sleeping in bed, and something killed his parents, propped them up in chairs right in front of his bed, and then wrote in blood on the wall "I know you're awake". That one gave me a hard night of trying to fall asleep.

As unscary and poorly-written as many of them are, there are still a small handful like the one you mentioned evoked a bit of chills.  I thought a cleverly done one was Little Pink Backpack.  IMO it wasn't all that scary, but I thought it was unique in its execution.  It's told through children's drawings about a special friend a kid made...

Love Actually is a very stupid, poorly written excuse for a film ever and is in no way a depiction of love, actually

I also don't like pie very much.

If you think any theme song is catchier than Charles in Charge's then you're just wrong.

One direction is annoying

Justin beiber fangirls are scary and need to go sit down somewhere and drink there sippy cups like good girls.

The pairing rikai makes me extremely uneasy.

Sokai is far to cookies and ice cream and glitter and puppies for my taste.

I hate people who overuse x in their/pet nicknames. Mind this is for nicknames that don't make sense or something like XxbobxX. I think Digimon is what made me hate it more. Such as naming a x antibody Digimon with the same name with an x. (Alphamon X. What, does that mean? It has a x antibody for its own x antibody? Wut...)

Then following that comes either uncreative or very common nicknames. Pokemon isn't a big deal, but sweet lord Digimon suffers this when you see the same Digimon with the same name 10x times, then you know something is wrong. Again Pokemon kinda suffers this, but comparing the install base of players, Pokemon has an excuse. (Not to mention I don't see it happen often)

Realizing all this, I realized why I dislike the Digimon community, besides other reasons. (I did mention before about the dub/sub comments seen in YouTube, so you can slap that reason here)

Writer: WE NEED A REASON FOR THE "GOOD GUYS" TO WIN! STEVE!Steve: THE POWER OF LOVE!Writer: Great idea Steve, thanks for your help.

I can't name any off the top of my head, but I do believe some films have gotten the concept of love correct. But usually when that happens it isn't always highlighted as this great thing, just as a thing. And it isn't like the characters are wanting to marry, no they just are loving to each other. They just are, there is nothing special about it, they just simply are.

*youtubes Gilligans Island intro*Hmm...It's good, very good I might add. But I still gotta give it to CiC. I owe it to Charles after all he's in charge of our days and our nights and our wrongs and our rights.

I don't like Reese's. They taste kinda funny and just blech

Exactly. Same reason I hate fillings too.

/puts you both on his ignore list.

That's my favorite candy. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ just kidding about the ignore thing

Buns are, from purely a aesthetic stand point, the ugliest of the common hairstyles I've noticed girls wear. As far as I can figure, they must very functional in some regard, because I don't see why anyone would wear it like that to look attractive. They're especially terrible when they are right on top of the girl's head. *shudder*

I don't like when people "like" other people's personal posts on Tumblr. Someone I follow posted that they felt terribly depressed and wanted to cut and 2 people liked it, but didn't even message her?? What?? It just seems rude. "I acknowledge something shitty is happening to you. I could take a moment to send you a message, but nah, I'm just going to like this." It's pointless and just what??

I think Doge isn't a bad meme in and of itself, but it gets annoying when people use it out of context. Like, if you're on a facebook page about Doge, then that's fine. I find it entertaining and silly, tbh. Heck, my college suite mates joke about it too.

when you're on, for example, a random picture posted on a facebook page and just comment "wow, such ____, very ____, wow", when the photo wasn't even about Doge, that's when it gets kinda... stupid. And it's probably why Doge gets so much hate.

Okay, another one: I really don't understand appearance bashing at all?? Okay, so you don't find that person attractive. I get it, and that's fine. But that's literally zero reason to be a jerk to them. And if someone's confident in their appearance?? Well holy crap, it's hard to love your appearance like that!! Trying to insult them and make them feel awful about themselves is just really awful. I don't understand why people feel the need to make others feel ugly??
