Sequal to TWEWY?

A sequal to The World Ends With You might be in the works. Tetsuya Nomura has said that Neku’s appearence in Kingdom hearts: Dream Drop Distance “could be taken as notice of something to come,” before blatantly saying that “something is being worked on.” There’s nothing specific beyond that, but if you wanted hope, here it is.

 

What do you think about this? Do you hope ther will be a sequal to the best DS game ever made?

Hell yeah. I don't know how they'll do it since the first game seemed to wrap everything up in the end, but it would still be epic nonetheless. I just hope they stick with 2D art even if it's on the 3DS because that's what really made the game shine. Either way, I am up to having my brain rapped again

I've always considered TWEWY to be a one-game hit. Though if a sequel is on way,I can't wait to see what kind of story will it have now. : )

I don't really see a sequel coming from this. A sequel with new characters would be crud and Neku and Shiki already died once for the Game, so it would be a drag if they died yet again. The plan for Game Masters to invade RealGround Shibuya and make a Game there would also be a drag, because if normal people get consumed by Noise then, by the end, most Japanese people would have died already from Noise exposure.

I would love a sequel. One way they could do it is to branch out to the other UG's, since Shibuya is just one of many.

If this is going to be in another UG, then you can totally and without a doubt forget about Neku awesomeness or other chars from the first game. This will be a sad game for Neku fanboys and girls... And Shiki's and Rhyme's and whoever is there.

Highly improbable, but would be cool to see Neku in a European setting. Or in an African setting.
