"First we need to get some protection from what ever happened to us." Ralin said.

He looked up and saw Aimi's apprehension. He placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey." He said in a comforting tone. "You don't have to come along. You can stay here or I can get you some other world that you can be safe on."

Xeol decided to release the power he was holding back. The seals on his arms glowed red,green,blue and yellow. A ball of earth gathered around his body, forming a ball of stone. He quickly begins to levitate and crashes against the demon, spinning the all earth around him including parts of the heartless itself. After a few minutes of struggle he rips the heartless releasing a heart and obtaining a piece of memory.

" Are kidding? After what they did to my world? My home. ." She looks down and her sadness turn to anger. " No i have to come. There is no other choice for me." She looked back up at Ralin with fire in her eyes, " Don't you go under estimating me got it?"

"Eight more keys to go," Xeol said, tired of this already.

"We've got no choice but to continue," Ezol said. He grabbed a key and openned a door to a house. Xeol looked around and realized he had shrunked to the size of a yarn ball.

He spotted a dog his size running around.

"Are you lost?"

" I can't find my owner," the dog said, with it's ears in the ground.

Ralin smiled and held up his hands defensively.

"Didn't mean to." He explained. "And it definitely won't happen again."

Ralin was pleased. Aimi had gone through a lot in a few short hours, yet she still had the spirit to press on. She'll need that.

"Alright, to protect ourselves, we need to carry a piece of Groton with us."

He moved to a desk and opened a drawer. He pulled out a small case and set it down. Opening it, Ralin removed two pendents, each with a large gem set in it.

"These gems were mined nearly 3 miles below the worlds crust." He said, giving one to Aimi while slipping the other his head. "They have some sort of residual magic in them that once cut off this world from the others for a time. They should give us some protection against what ever magic was used against us. We won't be immune, but it will give us an edge."

Ralin pointed to Aimi's wrist device.

"You want to take us out?"

Xeol looked around, the three of them were in a kitchen.

"Meow," a small kitten appeared in front of us.

"Puppy, you stilly can't find them," the kitten said, with a sad face.

"Nope," Puppy said with the same expression.

"What happened to your owners?

" A small white rag appeared and took the away," the kitten said.

"A white rag? Oh you mean a nobody," Ezol said. "My guess is that it was a group of dusks, don't worry we can beat them."

The two of the followed us. "We want to help," Puppy said with a determined look.

Aimi looked at the pendant and slipped it over her head, she was able to slip it into her shirt to keep it safe.

" Ummm but i dont know how to work this." she finally answered after staring at the device. None of it made sense to her. She couldn't figure it out. She looked at Ralin with a confused look on her face.

Suddenly a giant white dusk appeared before Xeol and the others, in it's arms were two gigantic adults.

"That's one big dusk," Xeol said, gripping his swords.

Ezol attacked it in the back and it faded into nothingness.

"That was easy," Ezol said as a gate openned up.

"Take care of your masters alright."

"You bet," said Puppy as it walked to it's unconcious masters.

"Bye," said the kitten.

The duo entered another world, this time it was Ralin's world.

Ralin opened his mouth to explain when a damaged computer started beeping. Ralin walked over to it and tried to read the information it was trying to convey. Ralin couldn't make out what particulars, but he understood the basics.

"We've got company." Ralin reported to Aimi. "A portal has just opened outside this building."

Ralin pulled out his gunblade, leaving it in gun mode.

"We had better check it out before we leave."

Aimi looked outside. " I dont see anything." She said quietly but kept her hand on her sword just incase. She glanced at Ralin and pulled her sword from its sheath. " We should assume they aren't friendly at this point." She said and peaked around the corner to where the portal should be.

Xeol spotted Ralin and Aimi who had weapons in there hands.

"It's those two...so the cave must have taken us back to the real worlds," Ezol said, taking out his sword. "Leo is here."

Xeol turned around and saw Leo standing there,surrounded by a group of heartless.

"This ends here," Leo said as he warped all of us away.

We appeared in a large dark city with little light.

"Welcome to our final fighting ground, Dusk city."

hahahahaha, davisi laughed as he walked out of a portal of darkness and such brave words. leo take care of him. i'll be right back. he walked back through the portal.

 

he walked out of the portal in front of aimi and ralin. "how are you two doing today?"

Aimi glares at Davisi. " What do you want?" She held her sword between them. She looked to Ralin for support, he looked just as angry as she was. Davisi seemed just as he usually did kind but with an alternate purpose hidden beneath it.

Leo grabbed Xeol and sent a burst of darkness at Ezol. "Gather around me great darkness." A whirlpool of dark energy gathered around Leo lord of the night. "Dusk city,the darkest world that lies between both light and darkness, mirror world to Dawn town." Leo put his hands up into the silvery moon in the sky. "The darkness shall sink into Dawn town and all the other inbetween worlds! After that the balance between light and darkness shall be destroyed and there will be eternal night in all worlds!"

I want simply to know what i asked. how you are doing. i know you must be under serious stresses what with my partner's reckless actions and your world traveling. it takes a lot out of you. i understand. as for the evil glares i'm not entirely sure what they're all about considering i haven't really done much with malicious intent. he picked up a sword. these are some nice weapons, he said as he twirled one around his hand. how ever did you find so much quality in one place?

"Easy." Ralin said through gritted teeth. "Get rid of the low quality junk."

Ralin willed himself to calm down. This was no time to fly off the handle. Not for someone like this.

"So, where is that little "partner" of yours. Hasn't stabbed you in the back yet, has he?"

Leo shoot a beam of dark energy at Aimi's direction. Xeol pushed Leo away, causing the beam to aim towards the sky and create a worm hole...to his world.

Ezol appeared next to Xeol and grabbed Leo by the arm. "I've been looking for you, Heartless."

"I should be the one saying that."

Aimi pointed at the giant hole in the sky. " Look." She told Ralin tugging on his shirt to get his attention. " Is that?" She wasnt able to finish her sentence before another thought popped into her. " Where did that come from?" She thought. She looked around her not seeing anything, but it had to come from somewhere right? Aimi was lost in thought thinking about all the possibilities for the wormhole.

Ralin's eyebrows shot way up.

"That's..." He started to say. "That's not good. A portal like that could..."

Before he could finish the sentence, the odd magical make up of Groton reacted to the rogue wormhole. The air around the the hole ignited. The wormhole was surrounded with flames for a moment before the wormhole exploded, knocking everyone down. Several of the skyscrapers still standing were toppled and several of the smaller buildings caught fire. Ralin recovered quickly jumped up and ran toward Leo, transforming his gunblade to sword mode.

"YOU IDIOT!!!" Ralin yelled at the heartless, unleashing a flurry of blows at Leo.

Aimi sat on the ground in shock. She couldn't make herself move, non the less move her eyes away from the burning hole in the sky. She stared at the hole until something snapped her out of it. It could have been a sound or sight that she didn't know. She jumped to her feet and saw what Ralin was yelling at. " Is that Leo?" She tilted her head in confusion. Then her mind flashed back to what Davisi told her when her world had been destroyed. She couldn't contained her anger. She flipped her sword in the air and threw it at Leo with all her strength hitting him in the shoulder.

Leo shot another dark beam at Ralin and then shot one at Aimi, Xeol and Ezol.

"You fools dare hinder me...but you're too late enough darkness has already begun to seep into Dawn town," Leo said grinning.

Xeol dodged the attack and helped Ralin attack Leo. Aimi ran towards them along with Ezol to finish him off.

Xeol stabbed Leo with a sword full of light causing Leo to disolve.

"It's over," Xeol said as he looked up at the burning sky.

"Yes it is," Ezol said,stabbing Xeol, Aimi and Ralin in the back. The three looked back in dismay. "Now that Leo is gone you must vanish for me to be complete."

Aimi looked forward in shock. She fell to her knees and stared at the ground. She looked around her and felt helpless. Her eyes began to fill with pain as the shock wore off. She collapsed fully to the ground and blacked out. But not before she was able to mouth. " I'm so sorry Oki."

Ralin dropped to his knees, his lips compressed to hold in a scream of pain.

"I will not go out like this." He thought to himself.

Ralin flipped on to his back, switching his gunblade to gun mode. He aimed the gun toward a large metal box bolted to the side of a building. He fired three shots at the box and hoped the objects inside the box still worked. The bullets slammed into the box, setting off an alarm inside. The lid of the box popped open and five small hover droids flew out, sensors scanning for the source of the disturbance. Dropping his gunblade, Ralin reached for his wrist device and hit a homing beacon. The droids immediately turn toward the downed officer and ascertain the situation. All five start flashing red and an electronic voice called out, "Halt, Cease, and Desist!"

Four of the droids charge Ezol, trying to hit him with there little electro batons. The fifth flew toward Ralin. Its main body opened up and offered a Mega Potion to the downed Guard Officer. Ralin grabbed it and used it. Healing magic surged through him and into Aimi and Xoel. It didn't heal them completely, but it got them in fighting condition.

Ralin jumped up, grabbing his gunblade off the ground. Switching to sword mode, Ralin joined the fight against Ezol. Most of the droids were already gone. Ralin knew he had to buy time for Xoel and Aimi to get up.

hm. seems like you forgot one person. davisi said. drawing the twin scythia. i don't think that you should have done that. but first. he opened a portal under aimi and ralin leading to his home world. they landed in one of the guest chambers of davisi's palace. now, ezol, let's settle this little dispute. he rushed at ezol.

Ralin tried to get back through the portal before it closed, but wasn't fast enough. He rapidly looked around. Well, the place looked nice, so he and Aimi had some time...maybe. Ralin bent down and checked on Aimi. The Mega Potion had healed her wound well enough, but she would still be sore, as Ralin felt now.

"Aimi." Ralin said softly. "How are you doing?"
