KH3D Nobodies and Somebodies: Aging

Recommended Posts

This confuses me. As seen in the 3D trailer (or what little I could see) Braig appears the same as he was in BBS, and Xehanort could look the same as well.

We saw some of the members like Lea, Isa, and Ienzo, as children in BBS, and as nobodies they seem to age. However, if they return to their original beings, does that mean that they revert back to their age before they became a nobody?

I just don't know specifically how age placed into this...

Also, when exactly did they become nobodies? During the year after BBS? A few years later?

This question/s probably doesn't make sense at all ...

Since the nobody is just the body, and the body is what ages, they probably stay the age they were as nobodies. And if nobodies don't age, when were the exact same age when they became nobodies were in kh2/com.

I'm not sure...I'm guessing they're grown up if not then we will see teenage Lea and Isa along with kid Lenzo. I thin they became nobodies eight years after Birth by sleep either that or two years after bbs...

THe biggest mystery of Kingdom Hearts...lol I'm not sure. I finally read in some interview that nobodies aren't supposed to age, just be imprints of who they were before. It said that specifically in response to Xemnas' age...I think they all must have become nobodies later on after Maleficent took over Hollow Bastion, because Zexion, Axel, and Saix just don't make sense. Especially Zexion, since he's a foudning member. Besides, I doubt the Organization was sitting around for 10 years doing nothing until Sora got a keyblade. But as Nomura said, there's stil time between BBS and KH1, so hopefully this plot hole will be revealed.

Although Namine obviously aged...so is she not a nobody? Or is it because Kairi kept again?

As for the Xigbar being younger in this trailer, it's probably something along the same reasons Sora and Riku are younger, which isn't entirely certain yet.

its questions like these that make these forums so fun! i dont think Nobodies themselves can age since they are just shells. they would have had to age before they lost their hearts. which would make sense since the time it takes them to get their current age. its possible that Xehanort does as speculated with the trailer remember himself, therefore knowing the power of the keyblade. the organization could have been formed and they could have been waiting for sora to grow up and realize his power. that would be a lot of waiting lol

Well, it's pretty much been confirmed that the scene happened in the past and actually shows how they lose thier hearts, just look at the HD trailer that's been released. Xehanort summons his Keyblade and stabs Braig with it. He must have done that to the others as well.

am i the only one who remembers that MX's keyblade was a keyblade of people's hearts? thats the kind of keyblade riku obtained in kh1. now, who remembers what happened when sora stabbed himself with that? it created two nobodies: roxas and namine, whereas, when for instance sora defeats someone with his keyblade, he cannot destroy them, or really do any permanent damage at all. His keyblade is meant to destroy incomplete creatures, whereas MX's and Dark Riku's appear to be for destroying complete beings.

Well, I think that has more to do with the difference between keyblades of the light and keyblades of the dark. As Xehanort said, stealing hearts was primarily a power of darkness, though technically any keyblade can unlock hearts. I don't think his keyblade was a keyblade of people's hearts, just the one in KH1 made from the princesses' hearts.

According to the Ansem reports, Ansem had been researching the darkness for Several years before creating the first heartless. His apprentice, Xehanort, worked alongside him in this effort before eventually trapping Ansem in the realm of darkness and assuming his identity. BBS shows that most of the organization's originals were either working with or near Ansem. It is more than likely that close to a decade had passed before Xehanort became a heartless. And plunged Radiant Garden into darkness.
