hatok 6,413 Posted September 19, 2011 Take a look at the stunts from DDD. If it had been released to wii, we'd lose our arms. Wii U. Wii U Wii U Wii U.And it's not like the original Wii has you perfectly mimic onscreen actions. Yeah, I kinda didn't understand the second line from the previous comment you made. Okay, I'll try and convey it a little betterOriginal post: But I fail to see how the consoles a development team are releasing another game on have to do with their future games... Revised Post: But I fail to see how the console one game is currently being made on has anything to do with a game being made by some of the same people but for an entirely different franchise. Why would the Versus Team working on the PS3 mean that that's the only console they can work on? By that logic, they would have stayed on the PS2. Actually, scratch that, they'd probably still be on the SNES.
Oishii 3,987 Posted September 19, 2011 I always thought of the side games on DS's were on there because they are the more popular handheld. I'm still not sure how likely it would be to see it on WiiU, but I think it would be a great opportunity for them to reach out to a larger audience. Btw, has Square Enix released any games on the Wii?

Btw, has Square Enix released any games on the Wii? They've released a bunch of spinoffs. Chocobo Mystery Dungeon comes to mind. There's also Final Fantasy the Crystal Bearers, and another of the Crystal Chronicles games. The SNES games are all available on Virtual Console as well...There's a few Dragon Quest offshoots as well. That's everything I can name off the top of my head, but in short, yes, Square Enix has released games on the Wii. Lots of games. Because that's just FF and Dragon Quest, Square Enix publishes a lot of other games.
MAtgS 70 Posted September 19, 2011 Personally I'd kinda interested there was wiimote functionality. Nomura once spoke in an interview 5 years that he use the remote differently from other developers. Always wondered what he meant. Maybe they could have it so there's a main scenario played with normal controllers & a bonus scenario with a different character that used wimote & Move. DChiuch 5,773 Posted September 19, 2011 hatok, it's worth noting that "swinging the thing around like mad" applies to the Wii U as well. The tablet controller doesn't have to be used for all games, in fact, I'm pretty sure Nintendo want people to continue using Wiimotes on the Wii U. Sora96 17,256 Posted September 19, 2011 Chances are Kingdom Hearts III will be released at the end of these consoles eras.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted September 19, 2011 Honestly I gotta tell you, when they do make KH3, they had better make it a PS3 exclusive. KH1 and 2 were on PS2, so KH3 should be on PS3. With a game of this high caliber, they should focus it on one platform. Anyway, that's just my logical side thinking. Crazy me says" Nomura, get on with KH3 already!!!!! I can't take it anymore!!!!! The wait is too long!!!! Ahhhh!!!!!". Anyways, back to my logical side, um, uh, yeah i got nothing. Crazy me has won this round.
Sora's Baby 729 Posted September 19, 2011 Erm... You'd swing this around like mad? I'm sorry, what? The Wii has drastically outsold the PS3, for one thing. But I wasn't even talking about the Wii. I was talking about the Wii U. Make more relevant jokes then. People seem to be confusing the Wii U with the Wii. The Wii U is the successor to the Wii (like Xbox 360 to the Xbox), and the one with the controller that has a 6-inch screen and traditional controls. The Wii is the one with the controller that you swing around like a crazy person. If Kingdom Hearts III were to come out on the PlayStation 3, it would have HD graphics. The Wii cannot output HD graphics. However, the Wii U, which is more powerful than the PS3 and the Wii, CAN. Square Enix is already developing a game for the Wii U - Dragon Quest X - so I'm sure they're not unfamiliar with the software. The past 2 console KH games were on Sony platforms, so it's very likely that KH3 will be on a Sony console - preferably the PS3. And Square has made games for the PS3 (the Fabula Nova Cristallis Final Fantasy series, for example), so they know that well too. Though, Square has also shown that they've warmed up to Nintendo platforms, putting 358/2 Days and Re:coded on the DS, Chain of Memories on the GBA, and the upcoming major title Dream Drop Distance on the 3DS. Nintendo fans are no strangers to the KH series. Therefore, Square, seeing that there's money to be made from both audiences, would have no problem putting KH3 on both PS3 and Wii U. And there would be no change in quality, since both are very high-tech - if any drop in quality, it would be that the PS3 version is inferior to the Wii U version or something of the sort. Square Enix is no stranger to multi-platform titles; take into account Final Fantasy XIII for example. However, since KH has had no history on the Xbox 360, they wouldn't know how that fanbase would like Kingdom Hearts, so they would probably skip over it. Plus, I'd love KH3 on Wii U. So... yeah. Kingdom Hearts III FOR PLAYSTATION 3 AND WII U! Thoes r all good points. Wii U and PS3

KeybladeWeilder4 1 Posted December 9, 2011 I for one have Sony, and Nintendo systems. I just don't like Microsoft, and the reason there aren't many JRPGs for X-Box is because they're American made and not many people in Japan have them. KH3 might make it to 360 like FF13 but I doubt it. I could see it being for Wii U though. I will be purchasing a Wii U when they come out and I allready have a PS3, and I would proubly end up buying KH3 for PS3.

Vivi111 111 Posted December 9, 2011 "this Xbox will open a door, one that leads to all worlds, then xbox fanboy warriors will flock here from each and very one of them, to battle for the right for Kingdom Hearts and just like Bill Gates said, the Console Wars will begin. >" (I don't claim any right to this joke. i found it on one of the top comments on youtube, i thought it was funny. this joke belongs to the original owner)

Zenithia 305 Posted December 15, 2011 tutti frutti. I would want KH3 on the PS3 more so to keep that kind of "numerical tradtion" (I guess) to the Sony Console. I remember reading in a gameinformer that the Wii U, you could use the tablet and the Wiimotes for games as well. Though I couldn't really see a KH game being on either the Wii or Wii U consoles, mostly because I have that terribly bad premonition that someone will chase another down the street with either the Wiimote or tablet, thinking that the person they're chasing is a Heartless, Nobody, or some other enemy from the series. But moving on, I just hope that KH3 makes it to the PS3, I don't want any real changes of the game from one console to another to another.
