SkyEmerald 73 Posted September 16, 2011 I've read posts on other sites that called the thing being a pet a rumor but it was next to Sora in the image and everyone called it his pet like creature you control...but he has the Dream eater's symbol...so are some of them nice unlike the Heartless and Unversed ( note: I didn't put nobodies cause they were all mean aka Roxas,Xion and later Axel)

lizzie1238 538 Posted September 16, 2011 Wait I remember one type of Heartless that never attacks you but I forgot the name. There are those mushroom guys you have to cast the right spell on or else they go away, and the vendors which will run away if you can't kill them quick enough, but drop items if you do. sota9 4 Posted September 16, 2011 There are those mushroom guys you have to cast the right spell on or else they go away, and the vendors which will run away if you can't kill them quick enough, but drop items if you do. Kh Wikia says they go away because you put on a magic show for them not killed them...... let me look it up again.Edit: Kingdom Hearts Non-attacking, friendly Heartless. They might give you an item if you help them. The White Mushroom is an Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It is one of the various Mushroom Heartless in the series, and rewards Sora for demonstrating his magical skills. It indicates the desired spell through charades, and each time Sora casts the correct spell, it will chime with joy and relinquish Tech Points. If Sora gets all three charades correct, it will reward Sora with restorative Orbs and synthesis materials related to the third spell's element, and if all three spells are the same, the White Mushroom will relinquish a rare Arts item or Premium Bonus. However, if Sora attacks the White Mushroom, casts the wrong spell, or takes too long, it will run away.
SkyEmerald 73 Posted September 16, 2011 Oh right forgot about them...I always found them annoying... I got a feeling that Neko is going to be the Cloud of this game, both are antisocial and tell Sora to leave them alone (at least according to one translation of what Neko says) Do you think this game will have 13 worlds? every major game KH has had 13 world featured or so I heard, never really counted them in KHI, KHII, or KH BBS. Azure Flame 670 Posted September 16, 2011 Kh Wikia says they go away because you put on a magic show for them not killed them...... let me look it up again. Edit: The ones he said you had to kill were the ones that look like Prize Machines. And what they mean by Magic Show for the mushrooms is you have to use certain magics on them. Like when they have a lightbulb over their heads, you use Thunder Magic. Also, you shouldn't rely on Wiki, it's unreliable.
Aru Akise 2,540 Posted September 16, 2011 Birth by Sleep didn't actually show anyone waking up, or being gave new birth, everyone was only put to sleep (the only one that was literally put to sleep was Ven, the others, well u know what happened to them) If the Master Shounin Shiken takes place while they are asleep and dreaming, then maybe THAT'S their birth by sleep, and then afterwards they're gonna help Ven, Terra and Aqua... poor aqua, I'm glad she found Ansem the wise in the dark realm, even though it took her eleven years to meet him. About what i translated of the controls, they only mentioned L and R buttons, nothing about that other external accesory (what was it called again?) It's white on the back. And it has the new symbol ON IT. What does it mean?
Aru Akise 2,540 Posted September 16, 2011 The graphics really are close to those of a Ps2, thank God. Riku's partner is a Deer, not an unicorn the 3D effect makes me fear the keyblade Riku's swinging around. he's gonna hit me!

ssceles 134 Posted September 16, 2011 I think the misinterpretation of unicorn to deer here comes in the fact Japanese unicorns are qillin/kirin and they are deer unicorn. >_> (THAT said, it looks like it has antlers like a mini elk to me.)

Kirin? that means giraffe. the other interpretation is an animal that looks like pegasus. That deer/unicorn doesn't resemble a flying horse.anyway, Deer or Unicorn? (unicorns have single horns, this cretaure here has antlers)
ssceles 134 Posted September 16, 2011 Kirin? that means giraffe. Google disagrees. http://www.google.co...h?hl=en&q=kirinIt's a fictional animal. A giraffe was brought into China and they thought it might be what they mythological creature was referring to, but it existed even prior to that as a chimera-like creature. Lion's mane, dragon's face, ox feet, deer shaped body... and its usually covered in chromatic fish scales. Japan's interpretation of it is more deer-like and the original Chinese interpretation is more dragon-like. This is my favorite mythological animal. These things also tend to hop around or step lightly while walking so they don't disturb the ground. I can see how one would make a connection with Riku's creature and the Japanese unicorn-equivalent. It's an easy misinterpretation but I'm absolutely sure this is what the report was referring to. replika13 455 Posted September 16, 2011 "world buried to dreams"? i knew it! this game was gonna take place on dream world!!!
SkyEmerald 73 Posted September 16, 2011 Well only part of it as the only one part of the Game is the MoM which is why they're in the dream world I'm guessing. I though Riku was going to have the bat, oh well deer thing is good too. So where do you think part two of the game takes place? Also will Sora/Riku still be able to use their crazy moves in the real world? Come to think of it this is the third game not taking place in the real world (first was COM as it took place in Illusions of memoriesuntil the end, Coded was second took place in a data world of a journal/memories and this game is third, takes place in the dream world...wonder if memories will be involved too)

SkyEmerald 73 Posted September 16, 2011 Oh that's good as the bat really matches him. It'll be symbolic if Sora's other pet had dove/ angelic like wings.
Kishira 2,854 Posted September 17, 2011 Oh~ those were some awesome moves Sora displayed. Just wish the peanut gallery wasn't so....talkative. =.= And damn is Neku skinny.....that boy does not eat. o___O Oh yes, and the blimp cat.....*clears throat* yea....gonna take a little more to get me to like it. It did make me laugh and cringe all at the same time at least.
lizzie1238 538 Posted September 17, 2011 And damn is Neku skinny.....that boy does not eat. o___O Nonsense, you can make him eat all kinds of food in TWEWY! He eats, he just has such a super-high metabolism that he never gains any weight.
J. Severe 1,137 Posted September 17, 2011 Okay, I'm going to theory again: At the beginning of the TGS trailer, Sora and Riku are in Yen Sid's room/office in the Mysterious Tower in Twilight Town. That confirms that the world will be in this game, correct? Yen Sid says that the exam will take place in a world buried in dreams, which means that either Sora and Riku will go to sleep and take their exam in their dreams, or they will be sent per a portal or something into an alternate dream world. That would explain how they look younger and get new clothes. However, if this is a dream world, then is it real or not? Would the worlds they go through... well, not be real? If so, then would the worlds and character there not exist, or be a separate entity from those in reality? Also, if the MoM exam is only part of the game, then that would mean that Sora and Riku are only in their new clothes for part of the game. Once they finish the exam, they would become Masters, and continue the rest of the game in their KH2 duds. Also, then the Dream Eaters would only be fought in the dream world for the portion of the game, and not be prominent for the entire title like Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed were in KH, KH2, and BBS respectively. Unless, of course, something disastrous happened, and the Dream Eaters broke out into the real world. Seems like something the newly awakened Xehanort and his assistant Braig might do. Perhaps both the real world and the dream world could be in dire trouble, and Sora & Riku have to save them over the course of the rest of the game? That would give some possibility for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy to join into the fight, along with possibly Kairi, and the Dream Eaters that Sora and Riku befriended (referring to the cat, the bat, the panda, and the unicorn thing). Heck, we could even see the rest of the Organization members joining up with the group, unless they still have animosity towards Sora for what happened when they were Nobodies. And, of course, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua will fit into this somewhere. Or at least, that's just what I think. 1 Kinode reacted to this
lizzie1238 538 Posted September 17, 2011 ^ I agree with that
