Wolf on the Run 391 Posted September 9, 2011 The most dangerous competitive sport in the world is a sport not to many people in the world know of and its only played largely in the Republic of Ireland okay now my reasons for saying it’s the most dangerous sports are simple its well said hurling is the fasted and most skilled sport there is but behind that even with the helmets we wear to protect our self from the small ball we use the slitter that only protects are head year after year there is nothing but injury in hurling people breaking their legs from having it smashed by a hurl breaking their hands in collisions with other hurlers and of course one of hurling’s saddest moments the death of young players who died when they were accidently caught by the neck of another players hurling killing them those are the reasons I say hurling is the most dangerous competitive sport there is

Amon 4,279 Posted September 9, 2011 MLG is the more dangerous in my opinion. It requires playing hours upon hours of video games a day. Many players develop and die from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Epileptic Seizures are also common and 100% deadly.
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted September 9, 2011 agreed but why still play it ? Just because something is dangerous doesn't mean that some people might think it's fun. Sometimes the danger can add to the game, in some people's minds.

Wolf on the Run 391 Posted September 9, 2011 not close very close it is the adrendaline run that has us playing it myself i never broke any bones while playing i can take a hit even from a hurl and them things are made out of the wood from the ash tree and that stuff is hard anyway i know tones of lads who love the game so much even when they have something broken they still play like this lad in my class lately broke his thumb while playing hurling three days later once the cast was on he was out in the pitch again and he broke someone elses thumb was fair funny if you were there to see it
