AJTREY 70 Posted September 9, 2011 In the Gathering secret ending to Kingdom Hearts II, we see the three keyblades held by the three heroes of light, the Kingdom Key, the Way to the Dawn, and the Kingdom Key D. xBerserkerSaix07x 125 Posted September 9, 2011 1.Well this was before the birth by sleep idea came to light.(Even though it was introduced in the vid)Tetsuya Nomura even stated that at one time each of them were gonna have on Org.XIII hoods,but just tried the armor nstead. 2.I also thought this was way after KH2 since they were picking up Sora,Riku,and the king"s keyblades.(Ventus,Terra,Aqua) 3.They never showed the boss that Terra had just defeated in the vid in the full game neither. I'd consider that more of a cosmetic thing than anything. He had the story of birth by sleep in his head when they were wrapping up either kh2 or kh2fm 2. Same with me, but still many question were left with that explanation at that time. 3. It looked more like Xemnas' dragon to me, which was another reason I thought it was post kh2, but I guess we'll never know. Anyway, now we know they were meant to symbolize where each of them would end up in the end. Ventus picked up way to dawn and ended up in the realm between etc. And this is just me but I get the feeling that they were planning to have it do with the x-blade. Aqua picked up the Kingdom Key D because it would represent her being in the realm of darkness. Terra picked up the Kingdom Key because after all his struggle with the darkness, in the end he fought towards the light(along those lines for Terra).
