Chapter Four: Searching

 

Sora landed with his glider right in front of Cid’s house. Leon was confused when he saw all of them.

 

Leon: Wow, what’s with Riku and who’s that girl?

Sora: I’ll explain everything. First we need to take care of Riku.

 

Leon showed them an empty room with bed, where they put Riku. After that they went to another room with a table and chairs. They were all sitting, while Sora explained the situation to Leon.

Leon: *confused* So, you’re saying, that you come here just to pick that girl Aqua and help her save her friends?

Sora: Yeah and as soon as Riku rests up, we’re going to leave.

Aqua: But there’s still one major problem…

Sora and Leon: What is it?

Aqua: When I jumped in to the darkness I… *sadly* I lost my armor and… my Keyblade…

Sora: What do you mean?! I perfectly saw your Keyblade!

Aqua: Oh… you mean this one? *summons Eraques’s Keyblade* That Keyblade isn’t mine. It belonged to my Master and I can’t wield it properly. Well, it is for defense, but definitely not for a fight.

Leon: So, what are we going to do?

Sora: We’re gonna find Aqua’s Keyblade and armor of course!

Aqua: But it can be anywhere… where should we look?

Leon: I bet Cid’s computer will do the magic.

 

But after an hour later Cid didn’t find a thing.

 

Cid: Sorry, but it can’t sense any Keyblades or those suits anywhere on this world.

Yuffie: Wait! I remember Merlin talking about this.

Aqua: Really?

Yuffie: D! he said something about that passage behind the picture and… jeez I forgot.

Sora: Hey it’s ok; at least we know where to start. We’re gonna visit Merlin.

Aqua: Merlin?

 

She didn’t want to bother Sora’s thoughts so, she just decided to be quiet. After entering Merlin’s house a small thought blinked in her head.

 

Aqua: Who exactly is this Merlin?

Sora: Oh, he’s a wizard and a very smart guy.

 

Suddenly an old man, dressed in a blue cloth and a funny hat came. He seemed a bit tired.

 

Merlin: Sora, my boy! I’m glad that you came. Have some things to discuss and oh… *sees Aqua* It’s been a long time my dear.

Aqua:*remembers* You’re the guy who predict that I’ll come! Wow, you haven’t changed a bit.

Merlin: As well as you did. But I knew that you’ll come back some day.

Sora:*interrupts* Sorry to interrupt, but we need to know…

Merlin: Where Aqua’s Keyblade and armor is? That’s just what I wanted to tell you.

Aqua: So, where is it?

Merlin: Xemnas had a secret lab deep under the city. I feel strong forces from down there. It could be what you are looking for.

Sora: Right, we will go. *prepares to leave*

Merlin: Oh, wait! You might need some help. *whistles**group of three pixies appear* I think you have a new treasure hunt!

Rikku: Yay, we’re gonna get some treasure!

Yuna: Maybe we’ll find a dress sphere!

Paine: Yay… whatever.

 

Pixies started flying all over, until they finally noticed Aqua.

 

Rikku: So Sora finally managed to find a girlfriend, eh? But I honestly think she’s a bit too old and…

Sora: *blushes*

Aqua:*looks away*

Yuna and Paine: Rikku! Could you be quiet for a second! We still haven’t heard the plan.

Merlin: Yes, the plan… is to find something that belongs to Aqua in an underground lab.

Yuna: We’ll leave right away! *to Sora and Aqua* Let’s meet in the Ansem’s study. We have some things to discuss.

Sora: Ok, bye.

 

After that pixies disappeared.

 

Sora:*to Aqua* You ready?

Aqua: Yeah, let’s go. Bye Merlin.

Merlin: Good bye my dear.

 

While they walk towards the castle, Aqua was quiet.

 

Sora: Don’t you have anything to say?

Aqua: Like what?

Sora: Eh… I don’t know, but I have this weird feeling that we met before.

Aqua: Actually we did.

Sora: Really? When?

Aqua: About twelve years ago… I came to your island. And there are saw two little boys who were racing. One complained that he didn’t won just because other got lucky.

Sora: *tries to remember* Wait… yeah, that really happened. Then you asked…

Aqua: …if you like Riku! And then I asked you to look after Riku, if you’ll show him the right way in the dark path.

Sora: *sadly* That actually happened.

Aqua: What do you mean?

Sora: Two years ago he got himself in darkness, thinking just about the power. He even tried to destroy me. But in the end he managed to free himself from it and use it for the right purpose. To protect the balance of Light and Darkness.

Aqua: That’s good.

 

Soon they come in the Ansem’s study, where pixies were waiting.

 

Paine: You’re late!

Sora: Sorry, we got a little distracted.

Yuna: Let’s go in that corridor already.

 

Portrait of Ansem’s apprentice was still removed, showing the corridor to the room with computer. Room was still the same as the last time.

 

Sora: Great! Now what?

Paine: Maybe this will help. *snaps as the disc appears* It’s from Cid.

 

Pixie carefully put it in the computer’s slot. Computer started making some weird sounds when another door appeared. Rikku flew in it and soon returned.

 

Rikku: It’s like a maze!

Sora: Then we split up. We’re looking for Aqua’s Keyblade and armor.

Gullwings: Right!

 

Rikku wasn’t wrong – everything really looked like a maze. Endless corridors, many doors…

 

Sora: Jeez! How are we going to find anything in here?

Aqua: Let’s go this way.

Sora: Why?

Aqua: I don’t know, but I feel like is calling to me.

 

Sora followed Aqua through many doors, when they suddenly heard someone’s voice.

 

Yuna: I found it! I found it!

 

They both followed the voice to the one of the corridors. There was Yuna, happily flying in the air. Aqua disappointedly saw that she wasn’t happy about finding her armor or Keyblade. Yuna was happy about a treasure chest she found.

 

Sora: Eh… we ‘re not looking for a treasure chest.

Yuna: *opens it* Yay I knew it! It’s a dress sphere!

Aqua: *sights*

 

Wall behind the chest seem weird, different from the others. Aqua carefully touched the part of it. After some time, it moved, revealing another corridor. But this one was different. It was white, almost the same color that Sora saw in the Castle That Never Was.

 

Aqua: I guess we should go in there…

Rikku and Paine: *come* Wow, another corridor.

 

Two keyblade wielders and three pixies entered the corridor that was abandoned for a whole year. Corridor had several doors with bars.

 

Aqua: Could this be a prison?

Sora: Maybe…

 

Rikku inquisitively flew in one of the cells, but she soon returned.

 

Rikku: *screams and flies in Aqua’s arms* There’s a skeleton in it!!!

Aqua: Hey it’s ok, dead people aren’t dangerous.

Sora: There is another door there!

 

In the end of the corridor was another door different from others. Aqua tried to opened, but it was sealed.

 

Sora: Stand back! *summons his Keyblade*

 

Keyblade done its magic and unlocked the door. Aqua surprisingly drew a breath, when she saw what’s in it. A white room, with key chains all over and a big white throne. Room was awfully familiar to the one where she left Ven. She stepped in it and saw the two things that she been looking for. Armor in blue, black and silver color and a keyblade known as a Rain Fell.

 

Aqua: *excited* It’s really here! *touches the piece of armor and summons the keyblade*

 

Armor was once again there with her along with her keyblade. She hasn’t had that feeling for almost twelve years. Now everything was where it truly belonged.

 

Aqua: Now we can go save Ven!

Sorry for making you wait, but I was pretty busy with my other stories. Well hope you didn't forget it and that you'll enjoy at the chapter that will totally change the whole story.

 

Chapter Five: Castle of Forgotten Memories

After reuniting with her keyblade and armor, Aqua head back with Sora. Boy kept looking at the key shaped sword as they walk. Like it was the coolest keyblade he ever saw. Aqua noticed that really fast.

Aqua: Did you fall in love in my keyblade or something?

Sora: What? I mean… no…. it’s just that I never had seen a keyblade like this. Simple, but rough and mysterious.

Aqua: Well thanks. You should see Ven’s, it really is something.

Sora: Really? How does it look?

Aqua: Simple, but the thing that’s special is how is holding it. Instead like you and me, he usually held it backwards. It really got well with his fast combats.

Sora: Wow! Wonder how it goes.

He tried to perform backward hold of his keyblade. But soon he stop, duo to the countless slips from his hands. Aqua chuckled while looking him.

Aqua: I think it’s better to stay at your basic style.

Sora:*smiles*Yeah me too.

They walk silent for the rest of the road. Pixies decided to explore an underground place a bit more, probably to find another dress sphere.

Even thought Aqua told him the whole story, he still wondered where Ventus might be. In a world that he has already visited? Somewhere in endless lines between? Or even on his home world, Destiny Islands?

Sora: Aqua? Where did you exactly leave Ventus?

Aqua: I took him back home.

Sora: And where is that?

Aqua: It’s… kinda hard to explain… Don’t worry, I still know the way, so you’ll just follow me.

Soon they enter the house from which Leon waved. The moment they step in made them happy duo to Riku’s recovery. He was now standing, leaning against the wall.

Riku: So what’s the plan?

Sora: We’ll go to the world where Aqua’s friend is.

Riku: And then?

Sora:*thinks* Well… we gonna search for Aqua’s other friend… and see if there’s anyone who might need our help.

Riku: *sighs*Hope we know what are we doing… you okay Aqua?

As Riku spoke, Aqua stared through the window thinking only about the place where she left Ven. Place that had fell in darkness, but was locked away by her and Eraques’s keyblade. When Riku called her, she flinched a bit.

Aqua: Yeah… why shouldn’t be?

Riku: Just checking… so are you two ready to leave?

Aqua and Sora: You got that right!

Leon:*rushes* Wait! Before you go… Cid made this device… in case if you’ll need any help just use this device to contact us.

Sora: Thanks Leon, but I doubt we’ll need it.

Riku: You never know…

With those words they all three summoned their armors and gliders. Riku and Sora were both amazed by Aqua’s glider. It was in a same shape and color as her keyblade, but it didn’t look neither like skateboard or motorcycle. It looked more like two-part bow-and-platform device.

Sora: That sure is some style!

Aqua:*smiles* Thanks.

Riku:*glares* Let’s get going.

Party left the Radiant Garden and steered into lanes between. Aqua led while boys followed. She had never felt like this before. Flying towards the place where she knew Ven is. He’ll be alright, he’ll finally be awake, she kept talking to herself.

After some time of flying on a keyblade, she finally spotted the right world. Ruins of Land of Departure as she called and Castle Oblivion for Riku. Sora confusedly followed and landed on soft grass beside a road. As they were about to gone towards a castle in the distance, Riku dragged Aqua away a bit.

Riku: *whispers* Can I talk with you for a second.

Aqua: *confused* Sure, but why did you dragged me away from Sora?

Riku: It’s something about that place… that you need to know.

Aqua: What do you mean?

Riku: Me and Sora were here once, but Sora doesn’t remember. We both entered separately… while going deeper Sora was losing his memories as I fought with my inner darkness. In the end Sora needed to sleep in pod to regain his lost memories in order to lose the memories of that castle.

Aqua:*shocked* I… I never imagined someone might enter this place. Were you two only one who enter it?

Riku: I’m afraid not. Our used to enemies, Organization XIII were using this place as a headquarters. We defeated them on our last journey.

Aqua: *nearly starts crying* Why if they found him?

Riku: I think they didn’t. At least I think so.

Aqua: What are we gonna do about Sora? It’s not good for a person with lost memories to enter the place which will bring them back.

Riku: If we told him to stand guard here he’ll do so.

Aqua: Right.

After private conversation Riku and Aqua went to Sora who was staring on the road. He looked a bit confused duo to the castle in the distance.

Aqua: Can you stay here Sora?

Sora: *looks weirdly* Why’s that? I mean isn’t your friend in a castle over there?*points his finger to it*

Aqua: Yeah… but I believe some… monsters may appear and we need someone who’s gonna watch over our backs right here.

Sora:*summons his Keyblade and makes battle pose* You can count on me!

With those words Riku and Aqua went towards the castle while Sora staid prepared. White door of the castle was in front of them soon after. Riku carefully opened the bright white door. First floor was still a bit destroyed from Sora’s first battle.

Riku: Do you remember where exactly you left Ven?

Aqua: I think over here *goes towards stairs on the right* and then there *opens some doors*

Riku: Hey slow down…

As Aqua walked deeper, castle completely changed in the directions that she was heading. Doors kept appearing as stairs led deeper and deeper in the castle. It looked like castle is controlled by her every step she made.

Riku tried to stay close to her, cuz if he didn’t castle closed the road for him. While she walked deeper, she remembered Master’s words:

“Just use the keyblade... and this land will be transformed that all who will visit this land will be lost to oblivion. None will ever solve the mystery. None Aqua… except you.”

Was that the reason why Sora was losing memories? But why didn’t Riku lose them? She decided to leave those questions for later. Her steps led her to the door different from others. It had a weird symbol on it also covered by silver and white chains. Aqua raised her keyblade and broke door’s seal.

Door was shining as it was slowly opening.

Meanwhile Sora still stood guard on the road. There were no monsters or heartless there, only long road and wind blowing through the grass. He was lazily looking at the castle in the distance when he suddenly heard something. Black creature jumped from the black pool near him. It was a heartless and then another one appeared.

Sora: Finally! *defeats them* Anyone else there?

Suddenly heartless kept appearing until there were at least twenty of them. Sora kept fighting with them when they started making something weird. All the heartless started joining together until they forged into a really huge heartless. Boy tried to defeat him, but it seemed like heartless was only interested in castle.

Sora: *tries to stop him* You’re not getting there! *hitting its body with keyblade*

Heartless only stared and hit him with its oversized tail. Tail sent Sora flying in the ground, landing on the ground. Attack did a lot of damage to him, but he didn’t mind that. All he could think of was defeating the heartless.

Aqua kept pointing her keyblade at the door while Riku watched. When door finally got opened they both covered their hands from the shine. Bright white room revealed chains on the walls and a throne in the center. Aqua happily ran to it, to finally hug her blond haired friend.

But she was unable to do so. While trying to ruffle that golden hair, she only touched thin air.

Ven wasn’t there, only an empty throne.

She couldn’t believe her eyes. That was the same place where she left him, the same one! Where is he? Aqua started running around checking every single corner. None was there, not a single living creature. Her head was full of memories of that day, when she placed her little friend on the throne at home and used Eraques’s keyblade to lock the land away.

“I know it’s a lonely place, but you’ll be safe here.”

How could she was so sure about this sentence if Ven isn’t there anymore.

Aqua:*sadly* Ven where are you?

Riku: Maybe we’re in a wrong room.

Aqua: No that’s the same room where I left him! I even sealed the door with the strongest spell!

Riku: What if he somehow woke up then? Maybe he managed to go out by himself.

Aqua: How come? His heart is still inside Sora and he can’t wake up without it.

Riku kept thinking when castle started shaking.

Aqua: *panicky*What’s happening?

Riku: *holding the wall* Something’s about to bring the castle down! We gotta leave!

Aqua: But Ven…

Riku: Isn’t here! We need to get out to find him!

They both quickly ran back to the entrance. Pieces of walls and ceiling kept falling on the ground as Riku and Aqua dodged them. They kept running and running until they reached the entrance door. Riku blasted it with a fire spell, to see Sora fighting with a giant heartless. Creature was hitting the castle while Sora tried to stop it. Boy was pretty much beat up, duo to the size and power of the giant heartless.

Aqua and Riku:*shout* Sora!

Sora: *out of breath* Where did you guys been? Creep is about to bring castle down!

As Sora talked, heartless used its tail to completely destroy upper floors of the castle.

Riku: We gotta leave! This heartless is too powerful.

Aqua: He’s right… we need to leave.

Sora:*surprised* What about your friend?

Aqua:*almost in tears* He isn’t here…

Sora: *shocked* Where is he then?

Riku: Everywhere but here. This world won’t last any longer.

Sora: What about a heartless.

Riku: We gonna defeat him some other time. It’s too powerful right now.

Both boys and Aqua summoned their armors and gliders, to get away from that world. While leavening, Aqua sadly looked at the place where she thought Ven will be safe. Heartless almost completely destroyed it…

 

 

 

 

PS: Just wondering, do you have any special wishes for the worlds that's going to appear? But I don't wanna write about worlds like Agrabah, Halloween Town or Beast's Castle, cuz I saw those over million times and I want something new for the story ( but maybe I'll change my mind if I'll get a really cool idea about ).

I also wanna include some new Final Fantasy characters in it, so tell me what do you think about it.

Chapter Six: Another Treasure Hunt?

 

Sora, Riku and Aqua ride their gliders as fast as they could. But heartless somehow managed to follow them in lanes between. It nearly reached them.

 

Aqua: We need to stop that heartless!

Sora and Riku: Right here? Are you crazy?

Aqua: No, we must finish it or it go on another world bringing more destruction.

Riku: But how we suppose to fight it?

Sora: Yeah, our keyblades are gliders now.

Aqua: You can freely use them as weapons. Just watch!

 

She went closer to it, using her upper part of the glider as a bow. Arrows distracted heartless enough for Riku and Sora to figure how to use theirs. Sora suddenly started spinning on his glider, hitting the heartless many times.

 

Riku: Nice one Sora!

 

Riku casted barrier on himself and drove directly at heartless. All those team work attacks really made a lot of damage on it. With Aqua’s arrows, Sora’s and Riku’s hits it soon became weaker. Boys managed to hit him a lot once more, holding its arms.

 

Sora and Riku: Now Aqua! Finish it!

 

Aqua took a deep breath, putting all of her magic into one arrow. She mustn’t miss. Her arm let go of the string, shooting the arrow right into its chest. Heartless roared as arrow released its heart, making it to disappear.

 

Sora: Yay we beat it!

Riku: What are we going to do now?

Aqua: I could use a break right now… then we need to continue our search.

Riku: Do you have any idea where he might be?

Aqua: No… now that he’s gone he can be everywhere.

Sora: Don’t worry Aqua we’ll found him.

 

Party kept traveling when Sora tried to do those spinning attacks.

 

Sora: Look at me! Whoopee!

Riku: Sora! Don’t so childish again.

Sora: It’s fine. Just let me… *crushes in something*

Riku: Told you.

Aqua: What is that?

 

Sora crushed in something white made also from ropes. But it wasn’t a net but a… sail of the ship. Giant ship was floating in the lanes between probably drifting towards something. Sora got entangled in the ropes of the sails. He was unable to free himself duo the glider that turn back into a keyblade and ropes that got around his leg, making him hang with his head down.

 

Sora: *shouts* Get me down.

Riku: *lands with his glider* Hold on Sora, we’re coming.

Aqua: *lands too* What kind of ship is that?

Riku: *tries to free Sora* I’m just glad it’s not a pirate ship. *angrily* Man, those ropes won’t got off!

Sora: Why don’t you cut them?

Aqua: If we do, we might damage the ship. Sails depend on the ropes as well as ship depends on sails.

Riku: Look, just give me some time.

???: Do you need any help?

 

Party looked at the brown haired boy, who just came from lower deck. He seemed a bit younger, about fifteen years old.

 

Sora:*still hanging down* We could use some.

???: Just hold still, I’m master at clove hitches. *starts untying ropes* Who are you guys? Haven’t seen you as crew.

Riku: I’m Riku and this is Aqua.*shows on Aqua* The hanging one is Sora.

Sora: Hey!

???: What are you doing here if you aren’t a part of the crew? Are you traveling around worlds?

Aqua:*surprised* How did you know?

???: Lucky guess… *finally frees Sora* Here I’m finished.

Sora:*falls on the ground, but quickly stands up* Thank you em….

???: I’m Jim, Jim Hawkins.

Sora: Well nice to meet you Jim… say what are you doing here?

Jim: I…*hears something* I’ll tell everything, but now you need to hide. Crew is about to wake up.

Riku: Where?

Jim: Follow me!

 

Jim ran towards lover decks as party followed him. Ship seemed a lot bigger inside as outside. All those small corridors led into a bigger space where live boats were. Jim showed in a lonely corner and told them to wait there until he returns. Then he left.

 

Riku: What do you think about this Jim?

Aqua: He seems okay. I didn’t sense any big darkness in him, but as for the ship… it seems a little odd.

Sora: I don’t know for the ship, but I think we can trust that Jim guy.

 

As party waited, Riku took look on the ship again. It seemed like normal one, with some devices that made it more science – fictional. Aqua took a look on it when she saw a ball that was jumping around by itself.

 

Aqua: What’s with that ball? *catches is*

Sora: Is it alive?

Riku: Balls can’t be alive.

 

Aqua tried to say something when ball turned in a pink floating jelly. Well it wasn’t exactly jelly, but a creature that looked like pink jelly, with black eyes and laughing mouth.

 

Riku: What is that?

Sora: *laughs* I don’t know… *jelly starts licking his cheeks* but it’s funny!

Jim: *comes* It’s Morph. It’s a creature that can change shape.

Aqua: *smiles and holds it* It’s cute.

Morph: Cute, cute, cute!

Riku: So what’s with your story?

Jim: This place is luckily enough far away from the upper decks for the crew not to hear us. I don’t trust them.

Aqua: Why did you join them then?

Jim: Well that’s where my story begins…

 

 

Jim: I lived in place far away from here. Everything seemed just fine… until my father left. I really changed from that day. I started failing at school, wanting to be alone and even started breaking the rules. But I wasn’t the one who felt consequences. My mother was. I kept looking for better answer… when an unknown pilot crashed near our house. It wasn’t a usual one, but a runaway pirate one. He was dying, but I helped him in the house. Just before he died, he gave me a package and warned me about a cyborg.

Sora: What is cyborg?

Jim: Creature that’s half robot.

Aqua: What was in the package?

Jim: This. *takes something from the package*

 

Jim took a ball like thing with a lot of lines, circles and marks on it. It was also very mysterious, just like mystic object.

 

Jim: It’s a map… to the Treasure Planet. There are treasures of the thousands worlds. This is the planet I seek since I was three.

Riku: Why these treasures mean so much to you?

Jim: Just after I received that map, pirates attacked and burned down my home. My mum needs money and I’ll use treasure to rebuild the home. I want others to see me a bit different.

Sora: You sure have big dreams.

Jim: Speaking of which, what are you doing here?

Aqua: Oh… we just travelling around and looking for a friend of mine.

Jim: I talked with a captain and convinced him that you three are new part of the crew. It was the only way to not making punish you the old way. So, come out and see how the crew’s life is.

 

Party followed him out, seeing brand new day. Creatures in all shapes worked hard to make ship moving forward. Sora followed Jim on the top of the sail as Aqua and Riku climbed on the other sail. Wind was blowing much gentler then on the sea.

 

Then whale like creatures came floating beside the ship.

 

Sora: Aaaa it’s a Monstro.

Jim: Come on, they’re just a galactic orcas. They aren’t aggressive.

 

Aqua enjoyed being on the ship as well, feeling all those sounds and moves of the ship. As Riku watched the view of the entire lanes between he could just relax. Nothing was important, not a slightest problem in his head.

 

Sora: Are you for some action?

Jim: What kind?

Sora: That like! *summons keyblade glider* Hop on!

Jim: Wow, what an awsome solar surfer! *jumps on*

 

Sora rode his glider as it was the easiest thing on earth. Jim happily yelled as he was holding on him. All those spinning and speeding around really gave them not just some, but a lot of action. Sora then even got brave ridding on one of galactic orka’s back until he reached its nostril. He waited until orka blow a huge amount of disguising liquid, making Sora and Jim jump very high. They were spinning until they reached the ship again.

 

Jim: That was awesome!

???: I like fun too, but it’s time to work now Jimbo.

Jim: It’s Jim! Stop calling me like that Silver.

Silver: Oh, you got so potential… and you must be Sora, am I right.

Sora:*hides keyblade glider* Yeah, that would be me. So, what do we need to do?

Silver: *smiles* I like this kid. You two go check those sails on the third mast.

 

Two boys went to the mast, fixing the same ropes that Sora has be caught in.

 

Sora: Who’s that Silver guy?

Jim: He’s a captain of this ship.

Sora: He sure is something… and did you notice that he’s a cyborg?

Jim: The hell I did. What makes you think I didn’t?

Sora: Well, when you were talking about the guy who warned you about a cyborg…

Jim: It’s not that cyborg… he’s the only one on this ship that I trust.

Sora: Just making sure… hey Morph.

 

Jelly creature came again, this time changing into a small Sora. It really looked funny.

 

Sora:*smiles* Where did you find that little thing?

Jim: Silver found it and he’s actually the one who its owner is.

Riku: *comes* Can we talk with Sora in private?

Jim: Well sure, just try not too long.

 

Sora went with Riku to the farthest part of the ship where Aqua was.

 

Aqua: Did your minds made up?

Riku: I will and Sora will probably too.

Sora: What?

Aqua: Go with this boy Jim on that treasure world. It may have a Keyhole to seek or maybe even answers about Ven. Or we can help Jim at least.

Sora: I agree plus it will be awesome to see a world like this.

 

All three stared in the lanes between as ship slowly moved forward.

Chapter Seven: Betrayal

 

Ship kept traveling towards its destinations. Sora, Riku and Aqua were staring in endless Lanes Between. Crew along with Jim was doing their usual work on ship. Even thought ship was traveling fast, it seemed so slow. Sora quickly got bored.

 

Sora: I’m gonna talk with Jim a bit. *jums of the sails*

Aqua: Wait Sora! I think he’s too busy.

 

But Sora already ran towards his new friend. He felt so excited that he didn’t see another person in front of him. Crush in him made the person really angry.

 

???: Watch where’re you going, you little punk!

Sora: Oh, I’m so sorry mister… eh glowing eyes.

???: Why you little! *grabs Sora and pushes him against the wall* Do you think that’s funny?

 

Young Keyblade wielder could now see that messing with that person wasn’t smart. Person? No, creature that looked like scorpion. With one claw he started squeezing his neck.

 

Scroop: Any last words you brat?

 

Sora was suffocating when suddenly metal arm held Scroop’s claw.

 

Silver: You know Mr. Scroop, I was wondering. What happends if I turn it like this? *bends the claw using his cyborg arm* I think you have some work to do.

Scroop: *yells from the pain* You… *looks in Sora’s eyes as he releases him* We aren’t finish yet boy.

 

Scorpion guy walked away, with anger in his face. Sora carefully stood up when Jim came to him.

 

Jim: To bad I didn’t tell you about him… sorry.

Sora: What’s with him?

Jim: I don’t know. But I think you and your friends better come on the lower deck. I need to talk with you.

Sora: *his stomach rumbles* Can I eat something first? I’m starving.

Jim:*smiles* I think there’s a barrel with some apples in the kitchen. Silver won’t mind if you take one of two.

Sora: Aww thank you so much Jim. I’ll be right back.

 

Brunette ran towards the stairs that suppose led to the kitchen. But he crushed again into somebody. Luckily it wasn’t Mr. Scorpion. It was just Aqua.

 

Aqua: Where’re you going Sora? Didn’t Jim tell you to meet up in lower deck?

Sora: Yeah… but I was hungry… and I really wanted to get some apples and…

Aqua:*smiles* It’s alright. I’ll get some for you. You better go, Riku’s already waiting.

Sora: Really? Thank you so much!

 

Aqua watched how brunette left. She went towards the kitchen where Sora told her. There were desks with benches along with kitchen itself and of course a barrel with apples. She had bended down to pick some, when one of the apples suddenly jumped on her head. That made her fall in the barrel. While being in barrel, that apple turned into something pink.

 

Aqua: Morph! You scared me.

Morph:*starts laughing*

Aqua: This isn’t exactly funny. Come on, boys are waiting for me.*prepares to leave*

Morph:*suddenly stops laughing and hides in Aqua’s embrace*

Aqua: What’s wrong?

 

Ship’s crew entered the kitchen and sat on the benches. They seemed as they come on the secret meeting. More of them in, more darkness Aqua felt. As they were preparing some sort of plan. Then she heard familiar voice.

 

Silver: Good evening lads. First of all I would like to say… how dam stupid you are! *starts hitting everything in there* Especially you Mr. Scroop! Thanks to you that new kid is probably suspecting us! How many times are you going to make the same mistake?

Scroop: He was getting in my way…

Silver: I don’t care what happened! All I care is to get the treasure. And for that we need Jim kid.

Scroop: You don’t care only about treasure. It’s the boy… you didn’t grow closer to him, did you?

Silver:*pushes him against the wall* Shut your mouth you anthropoid!

 

Silver hit Scroop again, this time he crushed in the barrel. His hit almost completely broke the barrel, revealing Aqua inside it.

 

Crew: It’s that new kid, get her!

 

Aqua quickly summoned her keyblade, making way out. Crew tried to stop her, but girl managed to find the way in lower deck. She ran through endless corridors until she reached all three boys who were talking.

 

Aqua: Guys! We need to go!

Jim: Why?

Aqua: Crew is just using you to get the treasure. They’re actually pirates!

Riku: Are you sure about that?

Aqua: Definitely! They had a meeting in kitchen and I heard them because I went there to get apples for Sora.

Riku: Who would have thought that Sora’s stomach will come handy one day?

Sora: Hey!

Jim: We don’t have time for this. We need to leave the ship as soon as possible.

Aqua: I’m on it! We gonna use gliders.

Sora:*to Jim* You can be on mine, like before.

Jim: Okay, I’ll just open the door to get out of here.

Riku: You better be quick, they’re already trying to crush the door.

 

Party summoned their gliders and armors as Jim opened the way out of the ship. Right when he jumped on Sora’s glider, angry crew rushed in lower deck with Silver on spearhead. They tried to stop them, but keyblade wielders escaped with Jim. Silver ran on the deck, to the artilleryman who was aiming cannon on escapers.

 

Artilleryman: Say goodbye!

Silver: No, we need them alive!*moves the cannon which gets accidently activated*

 

Shot from the cannon came so fast that none of them even realized. But duo to Silver’s interference it didn’t shot Jim and Sora, but Aqua. Moment she got shot, her armor and glider disappeared.

 

Riku: Aqua!

 

White haired rushed after her and managed to catch her before she fell too deep. Luckily his glider was big enough for her and him.

 

Sora: Are you okay?

Riku: Let’s just get to this treasure world before anybody else gets shot. Where do we need to go Jim?

Jim: Let me check.

 

Boy took map out of his pocket and looked at the lines on it. They were pointing them straight at the left. Boys looked in that direction to see bright green world, encased by two green rings. They all used their gliders to go in that world, carefully landing in some kind of forest filled with giant mushrooms. Jim and Sora jumped of their glider as Riku carefully took unconscious Aqua from his. She seemed injured from that shot, so he just put her against the rock.

 

Riku: We gonna need a shelter if treasure isn’t near.

Jim: Don’t worry, I bet it isn’t so far away.

 

Suddenly his ball map lifted itself in air, spinning really fast. Party was so excited to see next direction. But unfortunately it stopped, turning into something pink…

 

Jim: Morph! What the hell are you doing here? What did you do with a map?

 

Little pink jelly turned into little ship.

 

Jim: On the ship? Are you crazy? We can’t go back now!

Sora: Guys, we better hide. Those pirates are coming….
