The Last Airbender movies...

Recommended Posts

M. Night Shyamalan plans on doing an entire film trilogy. I think somewhere it was mentioned they have the script done for the most part, but the production has barely started. Let's just hope he doesn't decide to do a Legend of Korra movie too and we won't have to suffer more.....

Honestly I thought his adaptation to the series was very bad.

uugh, azula looks like she can't even harm a fly, i thought sokka, katara, and some of the water tribe was african american, WHAT HAPPENED TO FUNNY SOKKA?! zuko has a cheap looking scar that's not even visible, fighting scenes were terrible (i can go on forever,so i'll just stop). it's not really a good idea to make a sequel. ppl were yelling for their money back when the movie ended. yes, it was that bad

A waste of money in my opinion. The move sucked soooo bad and it was really dissapointing. The movie just fell cheap and half-way done. But I think that M. Shamalan *or what ever* was going to make either a sequel or a complete trilogy.

OblivionRider was pretty spot-on with it.

The movie was probably okay to most people, but if you actually watched the entire Avatar: The Last Airbender series and then saw the movie, you probably thought it sucked. (Which it did.)

I've heard that M. Night Shalamaladerp probably won't make more Airbender movies because it got such bad reviews, but I could be wrong about that.

Agree, I think they forgot Jet or does he come up in the second season. It was a bit of a let down but they had limited time, you have to keep that in mind. 20*20*3=1200 minutes. For the first season, 400 minutes. They had to compress that into 120 minutes tops. WHat I want to know is what the heck did they do with Iroh. He was thin, not fat at all. The actor was excellent and conveyed the same tone as Iroh in the series but I looked forward to seeing fat Iroh. Also, Katara looks way too old for Aang or is it just me? I thought it was just a two or three year gap but it seems like a 5 year gap.

I hope not. Those movies were worse than when I had to watch a yak eat it's own testicles... in 3D...

If he does, can he at least add M. Night Shyamalan plot twist in it? Like Aang is actually Zuko's brother and Appa is a space alien.
