Recommended Posts

If you're smart enough you will know what this is for

Anyways, my favorite movie is Paranormal Activity because I love screaming people and the movie pretty much suckz because it doesn't scare me but whatevs. Oh and insidious because it's funny

Lord of the Rings, either TTT or ROTK. I think TTT won b/c of the Helm’s Deep scene and Pippin. Although Eowyn was awesome in ROTK…

I also love Harry Potter. The movies cannot match the books, but the 1st movie was so close I loved it. Deathly Hallows pt 1 was also extremely accurate, and although pt 2 was more moving and enjoyable, it lacked in accuracy. The fact that they excluded an on screen death left a bad taste in my mouth.

So…

1. LOTR:TTT

2. LOTR:ROTK

3. HP1

4. HP7 pt 1

5. HP7 pt 2

6. LOTR:TFOTR

Sorry, but I wish I understood the hype behind that movie.

I hate horror films, but we watched it on the coach bus for an out of state competition. I was scared as anything b/c of the hype. But the movie was dull and slow, with no real action other than “AHH! The door slammed shut! I think there’s a ghost!”

True, the teacher turned off the movie before the end, so we never saw the possessed wife attack (I Wikipedia’ed it), but to watch a dull movie for an hour and a half just to see a five minute scare doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Can someone explain it to me if I’m missing something?

I agree. I have no idea why anyone likes that. Also if I remember correctly (which I may not be), the wife just knocks over the camera and they don't even show the attack. Unless the purpose is to leave it up to interpretation

As far as Insidious, I didn't find that funny at all. It was actually one of the scarier movies I've seen. Except like most horror films, alot of the scariness was just done by showing something completely unexpected (usually with a loud noise as well). Like, when I saw it they did one of those "some man is standing in the room" moments... I didn't even see the man but I was startled because the music got really loud and the audience started yelling.

And is it just me, or did the main demon look a lot like Darth Maul?

I can't decide between Disney's the Lion King which was awesome and teached me so mutch when I was a kid and the Godfarther which was so epic that I can't describe it, the soundtrack the cast and script were amazing. <3

LOL I agree because I hate all movies really and Paranormal Activity has no real horror towards it
