KHBbS Vanitas's Face

I remeber that Nomura had stated at some point and time in the past, and by all mean feel free to correct me on this, that Vanitas's face was based on the person that Ven's heart went into. For example Vanitas looks like Sora due to Ven's heart going inside of Sora. So in turn I have a couple of questions that have bugged me about this.

 

- Which face would you want to see as Vanitas Face? (If not Sora's)

- Do you think we will see Vanitas's real face? (His face before Ven's heart merged with Sora's, and assuming Vanitas comes back)

 

I would like to have seen Vanitas's face before it transformed into Sora's. At least to have an idea of what he looked like in someway, maybe the face of an Unversed. If Nomura ever decides to do something like that if he decided to bring back Vanitas that would be a real treat.

 

As for someone else's face, I had a couple Ideas. Riku, mostly to have a better picture of how to view Riku if he somehow gave in to the darkness completely, yet still retained himself. In a sense, Kairi (though I know this is never going to happen), but more so to view Kairi on the Dark side, thus putting Riku and Sora in a difficult position on what to do to someone so close to them. (Again just a thought, I know this won't happen due to Kairi being a princess of heart) And I guess Hayner, for being short tempered. Donald, mostly for him being somewhat greedy and to pick on a Disney character. And I guess Xion, mostly due to the events of KHDays. But maybe in KH3D or KH3(more so this one) we may be able to see Vanitas's real face.

I'm not 100% sure on this but I thought Vanitas never had a face. He was just the darkness within Ventus and when Xehanort separated it from the light creating Vanitas he had no identity or face. So when Ventus' heart connected with Sora's it gave Vanitas something to use( not really sure how to I don't know all the details but I think thats most of it.

Ven's heart went inside Sora at the end of BBS. At the beginning of BBS, we see Ven's heart damaged, and Sora comes to him, thus healing Ven's heart. Like Ven's heart inside Roxas making Roxas look like Ven.

It tells you what he looked like before Sora's influence in vol.3 of the Birth by Sleep novels.....there's a thread on that very chapter...translated. .w.

The proof is on this website. Go on the homepage and look through the news section till you see news of BBS from after it's release in Japan last year. Though, I read it when it came out, so I don't feel like doing such hard work(I did attempt to do it). Sorry.

tutti frutti. Thanks for the link about Vanitas's face Reiko009, it gives my some detail on what he looked like before having Sora's face. Maybe along with this info, Nomura may show us a picture of his original face, before obtaining Sora's. (wishful thinking) I guess since the Org. 13, and Namine are humanoid Nobodies, it more or less makes sense that Vanitas would have his own original face, but only time will tell if we ever get that bit of information. I'm kind of hoping that this goes into KH3D or KH3 in order to have a better understanding about Vanitas.
