w00! just finished the game!

so i need to know, should i get zero gear? because i don't want to spend 30000 heart points on something rubbish

right now i use nimble gear+ which i've used for pretty much the whole game and still love it

Well 30,000 Hearts aren't that hard to get. All you need to do is go to whichever day (under the Holo-Missions) that is titled The Program. Go to the collecting hearts in Wonderland. For filling the mission gauge it gives you roughly 6,000 points. So if you are willing to do Wonderland a couple of times then yes it is worth it. If not, then don't sweat it. I just did it for fun because I'm a KH perfectionist.

Plus, it's fun to see all the joke weapons. Saix's banana, Axel's pizza, etc. It's just a fun thing and I say you should, but no biggie if you don't. It's not like the Zero Gear goes towards a 100% thing.

It is the most powerful so if you want to get it you can. I never saw the banana or the pizza... I did see the parsol that roxas had. Is that the Mystery gear that does that? You could also do the day titled "work to do" and collect hearts in the games. Just don't hit the barrels and you should get alot of points.

no your thinking of casual gear that gives you the joke wepons its a moogle shop freebe Zero gear is like the normal wepons [oathkeeper oblivion, eternal flames] like one hit kill wepons.

i wouldn't get it. x.x

Dual Wield Roxas is weak in Mission Mode.

kk, i'll stick with nimble gear then

but zero gear was really good against the neoshadows?

EDIT: went on to mission mode, nimble gear suddenly started sucking, is zero gear good?

yes it is good

yes it is good

kk

i'll work on getting mickey and sora first though

EDIT: just noticed something, my nimble gear is amazing in story mode but terrible in mission mode, i'm guessing it's the other way round for zero gear

i think i might get the strategy guide, because that has a complete detailed walkthrough for each mission

It's amazing with one ability unit two powers and a sight unit.

Amazing Wow!

after nimble gear you can notice the difference

i had to sort of change tactics for zero gear though, because in the previous games i base all my strategy on air combos, which doesn't work since zero gear feels quite heavy (as in slower, more powerful attacks)

I usually put 3 ability and one power...

really? everyone seems to hate duel wield

Yea it isn't that great but I use Sora alot :) I should change it up a bit though becuase I have to do the "defeat 3 windstorms" mission in mission mode to complete all the missions (I think, missing like 1 or 2). I have 301 mission points :)

DW roxas is awesome plus with zero gear you can use Riku's keyblade Way to Dawn which is sooooo awesome! it's like pwnage on a stick in the shape of a somewhat key looking sword xD

Zero Gear rocks! Just no in mission mode cause for some reason in mission mode two keyblades really do suck but in story mode!!! Why is there such a difference in awesomeness??????

I love Duel Weild roxas but the thing is it's not that powerful. Eh, i still like it. Sora pawns in mission mode. I use him a lot.

earn ultimate gear instead. its the strongest keyblade ive got yet

Zero Gear sucks for me. I mean sucks crap. I mostly play as Zexion or Demyx, right? I work my butt off for this gear. So excited to install it. Weapons look great. (Mind you, I tried this gear out after using Pandora's Gear, which is my best ever.) I go out to try it, and with the Lunar Strike ring, two Abilities, a Power, and a Sight, it sucked. Epic phail. It hardly touched the HP bar of the enemy. On both Zexion and Demyx, although Demyx was a little better. The Pandora's Gear, even on "weak lil' ol' Zexy", will after three rapid hits will drain nearly half(if not more) a regular HP bar. I even did this for comparison, now: A few good hits on an Aerial Master and it's thru. Took maybe, 20 seconds. Zero Gear: OVER TWO MINUTES. Seriously. It really sucked because I'm tired of the Pandora weapons and I want something cooler-looking. But it's the only gear that works for me. The Ultimate and Champion gears work, but the one I want to use I have no room for currently(it's the 6 link one, can't remember which at this point in time.)

Zero Gear+3 Sights+Critical Sun+character with high critical stats=half your hits taking off whole bars of HP.

Yeah critical hits are overpowered in this game.

Too bad not on the right characters. -_- They need to take the five Org members with the largest fangirl bases and give THEM high critical.
