terraxaqua34 98 Posted August 10, 2011 Do you think DDD will have a CGI opening like BBS? It is a major game. Discuss. 1 AGuedajep reacted to this

AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 10, 2011 Didn't they all have CGI openings? (Or the equivalent? The GBA couldn't do CGI.)
Sora96 17,256 Posted August 10, 2011 Nope. Probably just a regular cutscene based opening or introduction. Like the DS games. I believe the CGI openings are exclusive to the main titles in the series, Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts III. I thought Nomura said in an interview that we should treat KH3D like a main game or that he said that it actually was a main game. I have feeling the game will have a CGI opening. kingdomlanelover 494 Posted August 10, 2011 Yeah, there would HAVE to be one. I mean, these are the last few games that are coming out before KH3, the series is almost over for me. I think i'm going to stop playing it after Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out. I'll be old enough as it is. lol
RayIII 16 Posted August 10, 2011 I think it will have one no doubt. If they will not do a new one, it will be a compilation of the other cgi scenes with the hikari or passion song. A new song from Utada would be nice, but I don't think so since bbs didn't even got a new song.

JTD95 1,108 Posted August 10, 2011 Days had one so why not But that one wasn't in CGI.The opening for KH1, KH2 and BBS was in CGI. The opening for Re:Com, Days and Re:Coded was not in CGI.

hatok 6,413 Posted August 10, 2011 There's a technicality here. CGI stands for computer generated image. Every KH game has featured videos using ccomputer generated images, however, only KH1, 2 and BBS had high quality CGI. So, that's right, even the original CoM had CGI. But I don't see why DDD wouldn't have a high quality CGI opening, since the main reasons were a lack of budget and a lakc of space before, but now they have both. Speaking of which, now that I've seen what the 3DS can do for videos, I very excited to see KH3D's.
Oishii 3,987 Posted August 10, 2011 I thought the term was 'pre-rendered'? They better have a HQ opening. It would look soooo sexy in 3D.

Square Enix....you better do a HQ opening, or so help me, and use Sanctuary, Simple and Clean has been done to death.

Sanctuary mind-rapes me, I don't like it. perhaps new music. And yes, I'd love CGI in 3D.
