Since KH3 will most likely come out on HD Consoles, do you think the Characters would still look a Bit Cartoony, or more Realistic.

I dont really care about Graphics in this time of Gaming, but wanna see peoples Opinions.

Considering the release of KH doesn't seem to be any time soon, I don't see how it can NOT be released on an HD console.

Now, I'm betting Sora and co will look more like their CG models, with more detailed hair and, flappy clothes, whatnot. If they make the Disney characters look like their CG then... god help us all.

"Most likely"? I think you mean "will be." Why do they have to make it realistic? Why can't they just keep the cartoonish look and update the graphics into HD, making KH in HD.

Like someone said before, it will probably start to look more like the opening movies do. Those are realistic but still retain the cartoonish style KH has. It's the coloring and modeling style that gives KH its look, not the level of quality.

 

It would be awesome if Sora's hair was like the opening movies x3

There's reason to believe that, but it's never been explicitly stated. KH3 will run on the same engine as Versus, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume the graphics will be similar.

That's cel shading, not KH's style at all.

You've made a common mistake, thinking HD resolution and HD graphics are the same thing. HD models would be a revamp, with more detail, more polygons, and more physics (For hair and clothes movement) applied. An HD resolution simply lets you see graphics in higher fidelity. While it's possible for Square to do HD remakes without remaking the models (KH certainly looks nice enough for them to warrant not doing it) but they love pushing graphics so much that I can't see that happening.

Same here, I always figured/imagined KHIII would have graphics leaning a bit more towards the quality of the OP and ED scenes from the 2nd game. But either way, that game is gonna look badass. owO!
