Silvia Kuroi 1,480 Posted August 5, 2011 I think its because, Axel was really sent to first, eliminate the traitors in the Org., also he did it so Saix could move up in the ranks of the Org.

artast 4 Posted August 6, 2011 Because Marluxia Ordered Axel to Eliminate The Traitors That all? I think like that too,But that not explain about Zexion, So... Who know that Axel thinking? Ps.I think Saix is the key about this...
Papou* 1 Posted August 6, 2011 He killed Vexen because Marluxia ordered him to do so. Since he wanted Marluxia to believe that he was in on the plan on taking over the organization, he had to do as he was told. If he had refused, he wouldn't have earned Marluxia's trust. As for Zexion, it was because Zexion figured out that Axel and Saïx planned to take over the organization, and so he knew too much.
Junko 2,815 Posted August 6, 2011 He did it to get rid of the traitors. it had some to do with Saix
OblivionRider 50 Posted August 7, 2011 Because Marluxia Ordered Axel to Eliminate The Traitors Thats my guess owO Well I know what happens but it is such a long explanation That was Saix. Apparently, Axel and Saix had a plan to overthrow the Organization when they joined, but it fell apart with their friendship.
hatok 6,413 Posted August 7, 2011 That was Saix. Apparently, Axel and Saix had a plan to overthrow the Organization when they joined, but it fell apart with their friendship. Marluxia and Saix both say it. Marluxia wants Axel to defeat the people betraying him, but Saix wants him to defeat the traitors of the Organization. waiting for KH3 ZZZZZZZZZZ 2 Posted August 7, 2011 any one of you ever Fing play 358?! argh goddammit than well after a certain mission in 358/2 it actually shows Axel talking with Saix saying " i have eliminated Zexion and Vexen what more do you want me to do?"or at least i think that is what he says
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted August 14, 2011 Saix wanted to get to high ranks, and then try to take over the Organization with Axel. We believe Zexion found it out, because in days he says that there are multiple threats at work.
replika13 455 Posted August 14, 2011 vexen was killed cause axel wanted to earn marluias trust as for zexion, axel was having purposefully set this up in order to move Saïx up within the ranks of the Organization.
riku1123 11 Posted August 15, 2011 He killed Vexen because Marluxia made it a test to see if Larxene and him could trust him. It also fit in with Saix's plan to take over the organization because Vexen was higher in the rankings. He killed Zexion because he apparently found too much out about Axel and Saix's plans, and he was a higher rank.
Sapphrix (twilight denizen) XV 30 Posted January 4, 2012 To build trust. Axel already knew his true purpose in traveling to C.O. Direct orders from Xemnas himself. Eliminate the traitors. Also, it WAS to help Sai'x build up his rank, and himself as well.
Master Keeper 687 Posted January 5, 2012 From the end , Saix told Axel to eliminate the traitors , so Axel killed those two and left the others cuz he know that Sora and Riku gonna kill them , with that the traitors all die which complete Saix order . Zenithia 305 Posted March 4, 2012 Xemnas/Saix told him to eliminate all of the traitors from the Organization tutti frutti. ^^This pretty much sums up everything in a nutshell. Those at CO, excluding Axel, were believed the be the traitors and were to be elimnated.

Axtwyt 500 Posted March 5, 2012 Actually, killing Zexion wasn't to help Saix up the ranks. Axel already did his part in that (he chose to be number eight while Saix would become number seven). Saix had told him before Castle Oblivion to eliminate the traitors. Zexion had his own plans in motion using Riku to stop Marluxia. What was to stop him from going after the Organization? Either that, or Zexion learned of Axel and Saix's plan to overthrow the Organization himself. Axel had to cover his tracks somehow.
