VIIth Angel 35 Posted June 27, 2012 I just finished the first season of the Legend of Korra, and all I have to say is WOW! I've seen a lot of spin-offs with T.V. shows, and many if not all have failed to bring back the great qualities of the original while diversifying itself as its own show. But this new series has accomplished that and more. It gave old fans a lot of nostalgia, while introducing new concepts and characters, and it did this effortlessly. There are a few things I'd like to get off my chest about this great show, and anyone else can add things or ask questions about the show if they feel the need, giving their own interpretations to answer the questions posed: Noatak and Tarrlok's death: Wow, the whole story of the relationship between those brothers was very thought out and very sad in my opinion. There death was also very sad, but I think it was the right ending to their story. Is it just me, or was this a little dark for a kid's show on Nickelodeon? Not that I'm complaining though, I would be mad if they didn't end it that way.Korra's ability to give people back their bending: As soon as I found out that Amon (Noatak) could take away a person's bending, I had always thought there would be some way to give it back, so as to balance out the darkness that was being added to the show (and a kids show may I remind you). And although I know this how you're supposed to good way to end a season if there is another season planned, I have many questions about this ability. If this is a form of energy bending, is it possible to give non-benders bending?Noatak's blood bending and taking away bending: If he did not take away people's bending through energy bending, then how was he able to take away bending? If he did something to the blood, was it connected to the actual body? If the ability to bend is more of a physical thing, then where does energy bending come in? I think this might be because the way Noatak took away bending is more temporary, and the energy bending way is truly the permanent way, unless even that can be reversible as well. How do they plan to continue the show with a second season? I don't doubt these people's talents of storytelling, but it's just that they've given this season such a wonderful ending, it almost seemed like it could have been the series finale. I'm interested to see what they plan to do with the second season, although I really hope it doesn't fall short of the amazing things they done with this spin-off so far. Asami and Bolin: Because Mako broke it off with Asami, and chose to be with Korra, is it possible there may be a spark between Bolin and Asami, or is it too weird for Bolin to go out with his brother's ex? These are a few things I wanted to post on here, and if you guys wanted to answer some of the questions I gave, interpret some things with your own opinion, or ask questions that I didn't already ask, then be my guest, I'm interested to see what you guys have to say. lizzie1238 538 Posted July 12, 2012 Nick has confirmed that there will be a season 3 and season 4 of the Legend of Korra! Together, they will be an additional 26 episodes, making the series 52 episodes long in total. I doubt they will make more than 4 seasons though, I think 4 is the perfect number. http://m.facebook.com/legendofkorra?v=feed 9 Always, 4Everbee, Rizzyy and 6 others reacted to this

Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted July 12, 2012 So what has Nickelodeon been doing for the past couple of years? I'll tell you. Basicly, all they're doing is showing re-runs of Spongebob all day along with Teen Sluts like iCarly and Victorius. They never show new episodes of Spnogebob, just hudreds of re-runs all day and everyday and then show iCarly right after it. I'm pretty sure this is how they've been making more money then their competitors; Cartoon Network and Disney Channel over the past few years. At least Cartoon Network and Disney Channel don't milk cartoons for over 13 years. As for the Legend of Korra... oh god. What is this awful shit? I'm not gonna post my rant/review on season 1 yet but I'm just gonna tell everyone who hasn't seen it yet that it's nothing special about it and the plot makes no sense. Apparently, there are going to be 4 seasons of the show. When I heard this, I thought it had to be a joke. But it's not. Didn't the original Avatar which was 10x better have only 3 seasons? Water, Earth, and Fire? Why is this one having 4? Nickelodeon is just trying to milk this series as much as possible. But my question is, why? Aren't they making enough money by showing re-runs of Spongebob all day along with Teen Sluts? Why do they want so much money? They're already ahead of their competitors. Nickelodeon these days isn't abou entertainment, it's about money. Lots and lots of it. If it wasn't then they wouldn't keep showing re-runs of Spongebob and iCarly all day. The Legened of Korra was originaly supposed to have one season, 12 episodes. I would have been fine with that. But of course, no. Nickelodeon had to order another season of this horrible cartoon and now there are two more seasons of the shit to look foward to. The Legend of Korra and Nickelodeon both suck. 3 Snow, HikariYami and Cyber Shaman reacted to this
