As a part of a promotion for the show, The Track Team has released some sountracks for the show as a part of the prizes people could win from the Korra Nation event. Downloads have been sent out today and someone on youtube has uploaded the samples for everyone's convenience, so I thought I would share to those who don't have a Korra Nation. :U

Also in each e-mail it states that the downloads for the winners will be taken down by March 30, 2012 which has raised suspicions that the series will start around that time? Which would be right after the KCA's so... seems logical to think that.

What is Korra Nation?

And I just had a weird thought. What if Korra is Sokka's granddaughter???

Korra Nation is a promotion for the fans that was put into place by Nick to bring more attention to the show. As a reward for being a part of it, they gave out signed prints, music, and a few other things including a possible chance at going to Comic Con if users/fans got certain amounts of points. Ontop of all that, each member of Korra Nation is given official leaks to share with people such as characters, drawings, etc. -- Which is kind of how I find out about all of this in the first place. xD

Oh also just in case nobode else has seen they released a sketch of another character, Asami Sato, who is a non-bender whose father is a wealthy industrialist:

UPDATE: A new clip was placed on nick.com! This time it's a clip of the pro-bending tournament with Korra, Mako, and Bolin in a team named the Fire Ferrets! They probably chose that name because of Bolin's pet in the series Pabu is a fire ferret. xD

Could this come any sooner before I have a heart attack? <3

I'm just sad Aang, Katara, Sokka and the rest of the gang are gone. Especially Zuko. D: Oh well, this still looks AMAZING.

KATARA IS AN OLD WOMAN. AANG IS DIEAD. SOKKA....I DON'T KNOW.

Well, Sokka and Zuko are the same age. One of them has to be alive still, but all old and weak, right?

BUT I DON'T WANT TO SEE HER OLD. AND I DON'T WANT AANG TO BE DEAD. D:

It would be just way too weird seeing Sokka or Zuko old. But I suppose I'll just have to suck it up. xD

Anywho, Korra looks hardcore. So excited!! C:

Rewatching the original right now, remembering how much I loved it and obsessing over Zuko.

Really excited for Legend of Korra, but I don't know what I'll do without Zuko, Katara and Sokka. Yeah, Katara is there, but old. And poor Zuzu and Sokka.......The show will be great, but I'll probably be sad watching it and thinking of all my favourite characters who are dead or old. I kind of wish they had made a series about what happened right after the original before they did this (as a TV show, I'll probably never read the comics they made).

NEW YORK, March 14, 2012 – Nickelodeon, at its annual upfront presentation held today at Jazz at Lincoln Center, unveiled plans for an unprecedented 650 new episodes—the top-ranked network’s most ever—of both brand-new content and returning hits, as well announcing premiere details for the highly anticipated animated series The Legend of Korra; a stop-motion SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas special; original primetime TV movies; casting for the new Nick at Nite series Hollywood Heights (formerly Reach for a Star); an original animated series based on the Raving Rabbids video games; and new projects with UK pop sensation One Direction, iCarly/Victorious show creator Dan Schneider and iCarly star Jennette McCurdy....

The Legend of Korra, in which the mythology of the beloved animated franchise from Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko continues. The series centers around a new Avatar named Korra, a 17-year-old headstrong and rebellious girl who continually challenges and bucks tradition on her quest to become a fully realized Avatar in a world where benders are under attack. The half-hour series will debut on Saturday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. (all times ET/PT), as part of Nickelodeon’s Saturday morning block (8AM-Noon), which has been the number-one destination for Kids 2-11 for 12 consecutive years and currently delivers more than three million total viewers each week. The Legend of Korra will air regularly on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
