KHDays Why Xemnas only needs one keyblade wielder

Recommended Posts

I don't get why Xemnas wants Xion to absorb Roxas or Roxas to absorb Xion. The only reason that i can think of is to make one of them stronger which would protect the memories keeping Sora asleep better. Either way he would be losing a keyblade wielder which would half the amount of hearts collected, unless Xion's keyblade cannot collect hearts because it is fake.

Actually, Xemnas only needed one keyblade user for his plans for Kingdom Hearts, wheater it's Xion or Roxas. It didn't matter to him which of the two would absorb the other. All he needed was one keyblade master to help There was no need for two keyblade users in the Org. since they are just absorbing one-another's strength while at the same time having equal strength.

At first he wanted two, for the reason you said, that they would collect more hearts. But as time went on, Xion was becoming more unstable and Roxas was becoming more distant from the Organization and had ideas of leaving. So, to counteract both problems, he decided to make Xion absorb Roxas, making him disappear and Xion be more stable, since she would have more power and more memories.

but wouldn't two different people in two different worlds be collecting more hearts than one person in one world, which would speed up kingdom hearts

I guess he'd rather have one with full power over a keyblade than two with half power.

Like using a Paint and Primer mix instead of using them separately. Or not...

I know :D

at first, he wanted both Xion and Roxas to keep Sora from ever waking up. But eventually Xion started absorbing Roxas without even noticing. Xion knew she couldn't exist with Roxas at the same time.

Xemnas didn't care whether he had Xion or Roxas. He knew Xion had plans on leaving, but he could easily "fix her", which he does after Axel brings her back. He also knew she was already stronger then Roxas, so he just fixed her to finish him of quickly to rush things up. Besides, the game would end soon, he had to do SOME kind of twist.

He also thought, if Roxas absorbed Xion he could capture him and start the goal once more, which went terribly wrong in KH2.

So there you have it. ^^

It would have gone better for Xemnas if Xion didn't want Roxas to destroy her

Well Xion wasn't supposed to, but her heart was stronger then Xemnas expected and she was able to resist killing Roxas.

Xemnas has ADD. He can't keep any of his evil plots straight, and always drops them to start new ones. He also suffers from chronic villainy, doing evil stuff for no real reason beyond 'It's evil!'

Basically what everyone else said. It was getting to the point where this was going to happen anyway; Xion was simply taking too much from Roxas. Eventually, Roxas probably would have been entirely absorbed by Xion. in the meantime, he'd be too weak to take down stronger heartless and basically be useless to them for taking hearts. So he wanted to just speed up the process and get one of them back to full power. Whichever won would obviously be the more powerful and the more capable of being in the Organization. Honestly, it was a lose-lose situation as either one was doomed to fail and leave the organization, but as he said, even if Sora woke up, he would have to keep destroying heartless.
