Tom 437 Posted July 19, 2011 http://www.msnbc.msn...life/?GT1=43001 Alas, another kid dead, from the hands of a simple accident. He fell down to a millionare's grand staircase. Sucks to be a millionare's son. I feel bad for this kid, I really do. But this is not why I merely posted this. It's what comes after the news of him. It would seem that the millionare, Jonah Shacknai, had a girlfriend, named Rebecca Nalepa. That's fine. But however, the girlfriend, after two days of boy fell down the stairs, was found dead, hanged on the balcony, Sounds like suicide, huh? But if you haven't read the article, why don't you take a closer look: Nalepa's body was found hanging from a balcony, with both her hands and feet bound, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's department. The Sheriff's Department said her death could be a suicide. I'm sorry, could you repeat that? Nalepa's body was found hanging from a balcony, with both her hands and feet bound, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's department. The Sheriff's Department said her death could be a suicide. Ok ok, whoa. Hold on a second. She had her hands and feet bound to her, and still managed to hang herself? We dealing with a suicide expert here? Yeah, let me just uh, let me just tie my hands and feet together, then I'll proceed to hang myself. Always got to be prepared. Easier said then done. This is not possible AT ALL. Even if she could get her legs bound, her hands? Can you guys try a home experiment by doing exactly what she did, but not hang yourself? Trust me, I'm sure you're have quite a bit of trouble. And to top this off, she was found nude. I'm sure if anybody wanted to kill themselves, they'd have some dignity and keep the clothes on their back. It's happen where people commit suicide without clothes, but still it's quite unusual. This person clearly had no self-esteem to do this. This is not suicide. At all. I won't say murder, but there definitely was another person involved. San Diego County Sheriff's Department, get your head out of your ass. But ohohoho, it gets better. A connection between the deaths? The Los Angeles Times reported that the Sheriff's Department saw no connection between Max's fall and the death of Nalepa, 32. Nalepa lived with Shacknai. The couple had been together for more than two years. ORLY? So the fact that two deaths happen really close together, one an accident, one that looks suspicious but apparently it's suicide, that automatically has no connection? I'm not going to lie, there has been incidents of this happening, but again it's unusual. The kid dying, there's definitely no reason to point fingers, because it really does look like an accident. But this woman dying in a suspicious suicide? I'm not buying it. And what did the last two sentences prove? Nothing. As a matter of fact, if the couple had been together for more than two years, would a possible fight potentially cause this? I'm not making theories here, but no two couples are going to be happy together. Their differences will eventually get in the way, one way or another. They need to investigate the relationship between the two. If in fact that the relationship wasn't running smoothly as they thought, Mr. Shacknai needs a little interview, L.A Noire style. Hell, the brother should be apart of this, he isn't in the clear either. I wouldn't go as far as to look at good ol' dog lover Ted Greenberg, though. I'm not really mad at the girlfriend's "suicide", but at the Sheriff's Department. Two stupid assumptions in a row. I can't even say it was stupid. It was such ridiculous excuses to say, they are called police? Guns, badges, trust, on the table now. And even if they know it's not suicide, are they really going to lie to the public about it? Since when did we have the intelligence of a caveman? We are smarter to put the pieces together. Sadly, whichever the case may be, trusting the police is slowly descending into the gutter. I don't know, I wasn't going to make a big deal out of this, but as soon as I got to the girlfriend dead by suicide, I knew I wasn't going to let it go. Speak your mind about this. Do you think it's suicide? Murder? More than that? Is the kid's death connected to the girlfriends or was this a different playoff? Or if this just VERY unforturnate? (which if you're prepaired to get into a discussion like this, I hope you brought some logical backup).
Rob 5,571 Posted July 19, 2011 Wow, ain't that a weird story, especially the suicide part. Even magicians need help tying themselves up like that. I feel bad for the kid though. This has to be a murder.
Weedanort 8,786 Posted July 19, 2011 Possibly a murder. That's odd, hanging herself with both hands bounded. It's best if they open their eyes or ele it may happen again.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted July 19, 2011 AGH! I wanna be a cop so ****ing bad! Get my ass down there and kick theirs! While it is possible that she bound herself (Tie her feet first, then tie the second cloths and put your hands in), it is more than highly unlikely. I'm gonna have to say there was someone else. Leaxel 178 Posted July 19, 2011 DAAAAMN... HOW can those guys be so f*ckin stupid?! She was OBVIOUSLY killed.
Vanitas 127 Posted July 19, 2011 i see no connection between the 2. If the kid falling is a accident it cant be tied in with something intentional. And the apparent suicide could be possible with help. Doesnt have to be a murder. Though its more likely its a murder
aubreyloveskh 16 Posted July 19, 2011 Why are there so many stupid cops? Seriously?! Anyways, I feel bad for that poor kid. ):
King Riku 2,063 Posted July 19, 2011 DAAAAMN... HOW can those guys be so f*ckin stupid?! She was OBVIOUSLY killed. How can the judge who ruled Casy Anthony not guilty, not see the evidence right in front of him that proves she killed her daughter? People are getting away much too easy anymore, and I'm completely ashamed to live in such a country that lets murderers get away. The kid falling could have obviously been an accident(I don't know how many times I've fallen down stairs myself), but the second was obviously murder. It's not possible that was suicide. Doesnt have to be a murder. Though its more likely its a murder Maybe not something intentional, but to as something different. Here's how I see it: This is an example, none of it is really true. The kid had the accident falling down the stairs and he dies a little bit later. Let's say the millionare was very struck by this, to the point that he went out in rage and killed the girlfriend, and then being slightly smart, he hung the body to make it look like suicide, though the hands and feet tied didn't faze the police one bit. It's not a good example, but it'll have to do. Basically, it's an indirect cause and effect. It's clear that the kid dying was an accident, but it may of led up to some more unexpected events. There's definitely no reason to say it's a connection, but there is that feeling that when the kid died, something else was going to happen. I don't know, maybe that's just me. It would make sense espcially since Shacknai's brother found her. I think what would be important here is what Shacknai is doing and what Shacknai's brother is doing. Another very important thing is the length of time Shacknai and his ex-wife Dina stayed with Jonah. Jonah died on the weekends and Rebecca died on Wednesday. It said that "Both Shacknai and Shacknai's ex-wife, Dina, stayed with their son at Rady Children's Hospital before his death." So if they stayed through Wednesday, Shacknai could not be a suspect. In this possible scenario anyway. So in this scenario the key is how long Shacknai and Dina were at the hospital.
HelpMeRan-Sama 141 Posted July 21, 2011 Murder. I dunno why though but it seems like the more logical answer to me.
axel19 6 Posted September 8, 2011 isnt it obvious millionaire hello hes bribing police to keep it quiet and to look like a suicide
SummerRain 185 Posted September 9, 2011 holy crap this is murder!!!!! i bet the cops were paid to say its suicide
Kinode 3,056 Posted September 9, 2011 Either the cops are stupid as firetruck or the guy is paying them to pretend it's not murder. Either way, someone's obviously breaking the law. This case should go to court.
heartless101 83 Posted September 12, 2011 How can you commit sudicide when your hands and feet are bound together. Obviously, it's murder. Either the cops are really stupid, or they're being bribed or something to not tell the press.
Snow 1,800 Posted September 21, 2011 I agree with you. If she was bound, she couldn't have a way to kill herself. I mean, unless there was steps that she could hop up to the noose, which, I highly doubt. @AnsemTheWise I'm going to be a cop when I'm done with school, and kick their asses.
