I always found Summons bothersome and I rarely used them. D-Links just seemed more convenient to me but by the end of the game I wasn't really using them either. Still out of the two I used D-Links alot more.

That is a good question! I think d-links are better any ways is like summoning animals,but this time is humans I think..

I say d-links cause to me the only summons that were useful were tinker bell and peter pan, cause you would be healed constantly and given an extra life for the durration of their activation, and in KH1 tinker bell was out until you called her back. But I have to say D-link cause you get healed no matter which one you use, even if it is only once, it's still pretty useful and the abilities/decks you get after leveling up fully are impressive and even more useful.

With D-Links you get more. But I still like the classic summon. AH! SO HARD!

I prefer D-Links. It'd be cool if a future KH game had something like that, and took it a step further so your characters actions actually become styled after the character they link with (Taking on their stance and such)

Because I want to see Terra daintily hold up his pantaloons as he runs when he D-Links with Cinderella.

I barely used either, but it would be cool to combine the two. Have an extra party member and a new set of commands. Then I would probably use it more.

Well, summons were really a waste of your drive. Seeing how D-Link had its' own power-bar, so you didn't have to waste your shotlock. It was also a lot better than having only a few skills to choose from, (summons) as to a full deck of skills and two finishers (D-Link)

Those are all derived from religious deities though, so they probably wouldn't be allowed. Particularly Ifrit, what with his whole 'hellfire' thing... even though maleficent can say hell.

I never really used either. But I used D-Links a lot more than summons. They're much more helpful and convenient. The amount of times, I accidentally used a summon in KH2 and then lost Donald and Goofy, when I kinda needed them was ridiculous.

I never really used either. Ever. Not for serious fighting. (Unless Tinkerbell in KH1 counts. But that was only during one battle. )

 

As far as non-standard features I like go - Shoot Lock. I like that. Lots. I hope it stays. It's not really like the other two, but, whatever. Shout out to it because its awesome.
