Well if you ask me, Xion and Riku do need somebody, since Kairi and Roxas have people. So in that regard yeah. But I don't think it would work, if I'm being serious.

I always thought Riku and Xion were a little flirty...especially when she said: "So, do you hate me for taking your best friend?" it was totally a flirty voice!

And with Riku taking Xion out of the picture, Axel and Roxas are free to be together! MUWAHAHA! AKUROKU FOREVER!

However, I don’t really like this pairing. Riku was a jerk a lot of times to Xion. Also, she was always in love with Roxas.

 

In the end, Riku sort of manipulated Xion into going back to Sora. And the only reason he didn’t forcibly send her back, was because she looked like his best friend.

 

@Forget-me-not Pretty much everyone is from Sora these days. So I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. And let’s not forget that Xion’s base form and personality was from Kairi. Also, she was only memories. I sort of see her being like Tidus from FFX. Both were dream like, and sort of didn’t exist.

 

However, despite all of this, Roxas and Xion had feelings for each other. Kind of like Tidus and Yuna. And since Xion and Roxas may come back as their own people, they could eventually be together, and Xion wouldn’t be “Sora”.

 

And honestly, Roxas/Naminé are kind of incest like, too. Naminé was also created from Sora. And for me, I think it’s worse than Roxas/Xion because they’re both Nobodies, and both exist. And they do look so much alike… I’m sorry, I can’t not think of Roxas and Naminé as brother and sister (or something similar).

He never manipulated her but told her the truth about Sora's situation. Sure, he didn't have to put something so huge on her shoulders because she and Roxas were their own person. Xion was never in love with Roxas either. She just saw him as her very best friend along with Axel. And if you look at it this way, all those yaoi fangirls who ship Sora and Riku together can look at RikuxXion as replacement to that pairing because Xion slightly is Sora. And in my opinion, he did somewhat manipulate her. They became friends, and he seemed sorry for her plight, but we know he would have forced her back eventually. That was always his goal.

 

Actually, I think the Roxas/Xion thing can be argued. There were a TON of hints. Almost as many as there are for Sora and Kairi. And though SoKai’s never been confirmed, most fans do see it as Canon.

 

Besides, Roxas and Xion didn’t know what love was or really anything. You couldn’t expect them to come out and say it. Even if they had known, they didn’t believe they could feel.

 

That doesn’t, however, mean that they might not have felt that way. Honestly, I doubt we’ll ever hear the word “love” (at least romantically) in KH. It’s not the point of the series. But everything that Roxas and Xion did was for each other. And they did act couple-ish.

 

Actually, I have heard people ship it for that reason, but also because it’s Riku/Kairi as well. A lot of people, myself included, believe that Riku had feelings for Kairi in KH1.

 

To each his own. But seeing as how Xion was different to different people, I don’t really see it like that. She was only memories. She also changed into Riku when she accidentally absorbed some of his memories. So I don’t think Roxas/Xion would necessarily be Roxas/Sora.

 

I still see Xion more as Kairi. I mean, Kairi was pretty much her base form. Nomura refers to her as a girl, and he even wanted Roxas to leave the Organization in losing a member he really cared about. Suffice to say, Xion is more girl like. Xion is more like Kairi. If Xion hadn’t been needed for the role she had, she probably would have unquestionably been a girl.

 

And I still say Roxas and Naminé could be like Roxas/Sora too.

 

Also, if Xion is brought back as her own person, they could be together. Neither would really be Sora anymore.

 

If anything, can we agree that they might have had feelings for each other before they learned the truth? And just because you find out you’re “related” to someone, doesn’t mean you can shut your feelings off. I mean, has anyone read The Mortal Instruments? Roxas and Xion could be seen somewhat similarly to Jace and Clary.

 

And, once again, everyone is starting to be created from Sora: Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Vanitas, Data Sora, I’ve even heard people argue Ventus.

 

Seeing as how most of the characters are affected by Sora, there won’t be any pairings if we start not pairing people just because they’re connected to Sora.

No i do not see Xion going for Riku, just because they shared screen time together in Days. That is like saying Vexen and Marluxia should be togethetr when they clealry hated each toher. Truth be told i tihink Xion should be with Roxas if he is not going for Axel. I also dissagree with Namnie X Roxas... they barely know each other.

Also this is gonna sound silly but i am a fan of the Saix X Xion pairing

*sigh* Am I the only one who doesn't care so much about pairings? I care more about the friendships and the complexities of them. The little romance that's there takes a back seat for the friendship theme the games maintain.

 

Anyway, I'm kind of hoping they'll introduce a new female character for Riku, hopefully someone as badass as Aqua. I think he deserves something more than nobodies and puppets and anal sex

I've never actually seen RoxasxNaminé as a romantic couple. Just a beta couple. Axel is 'dead' and Xion has been forgotten by everyone so I see them sort of as a couple that doesn't have anyone else, so they stick together so they can be happy because they want to give each other something to do.
