DChiuch 5,773 Posted July 10, 2011 Which Kingdom Hearts title do you think is the most overrated?
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted July 10, 2011 358/2 Days. You sound like a robot when you're saying it "Three-Five-Eight Days Over Two"
Exlon 165 Posted July 10, 2011 I clicked Re:coded. I can't really agree to Days, since that was my first KH game and what got me into the series to start with. And I feel like the story's a bite more important than Re:coded (I mean, they're obviously bringing back Xion somehow after you see the ending to Re:coded---and I liked Xion). Also, I keep replaying the darn game when I'm bored. On my 5th or 6th play.
TheApprenticeofKingMickey 3,689 Posted July 10, 2011 While I felt somewhat entertained by Re:coded (seeing how it's one of the three KH games I own) and despite how important the ending to the game was, I felt that it was really unnecessary and didn't even need to exist in the first place. It's like an abridged version Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories crammed into one. To me, any game in the Kingdom Hearts series is welcome because it expands the KH universe and makes it more epic than before but I really never enjoyed Re:coded, I only played it for the cutscenes and the important things that Naminé says in the end. To be honest, when it comes to Days gameplay I don't have a valid opinion. It was the first KH game I ever played so I was under the impression back then that all KH games were like that in terms of gameplay. I only played Re:coded and Days for the cutscenes. Of course, I didn't finish because I kept crying to the point I couldn't see the screen. Roxas and Xion's fates were just so saddening. 1 AlixtheMagi13 reacted to this
KHSonic 41 Posted July 10, 2011 Um... I honestly dont know so i picked re:com bc its cool but not all that cool??? (where is the option for "all the games rock"?)
J. Severe 1,137 Posted July 10, 2011 I don't really think any of them are "overrated", all of them are awesome in their own way. The game that would come even closest to that for me would be "Birth by Sleep", because everyone's saying how great it is, how it's the best game in the series, how it's loads better than the DS games, and so forth. OblivionRider 50 Posted July 10, 2011 Re:coded was praised to be much better than Days. It wasn't. The Commands were fun, but it lacked emotion and multiplayer.
Kirie 3,489 Posted July 10, 2011 358/2 days. Kinda wierd name for a game huh?
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted July 10, 2011 Re:coded for me. It just seemed kind of pointless to me. And why didn't they put Chain of memories on the PS2 in the first place!?
Pinguijose 6 Posted July 10, 2011 in order for me... KH: Chains of memories KH: 358/2 Days KH: RE: Chains of memories KHI KH: RE:CODED KH: Birth by sleep KHII (This is the best for me)
Rose Riku 39 Posted July 10, 2011 I said Re:Coded. For sure. It saddens me that everyone hates Days. That might have a bit of annoying gameplay, but I love the storyline in it. ;-; 2 Exlon and AlixtheMagi13 reacted to this

Ace326 79 Posted July 10, 2011 Re:Coded. It was a pointless game. BBS is not overrated because it revealed alot of information and had amazing gameplay. KH2 was the best Kingdom Hearts game, but BBS is a close second. Load time does not ruin a game anyways. 1 AlixtheMagi13 reacted to this
Ivan 969 Posted July 10, 2011 What? BBS does not load better than a DS game. I believe he means how people say Birth by Sleep is a lot better than the DS games, not how the game actually loads.
Ace326 79 Posted July 10, 2011 I was just saying. I doubt many would hate BBS over load time. I was reffering to what J. Severe said.
Kishira 2,854 Posted July 10, 2011 358/2 Days was the most overrated and overly dramatic for me. It was like watching a soap opera...that you could play. e_e
Rose Riku 39 Posted July 10, 2011 I think the games are like this from best to least best: Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts 2 Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Kingdom Hearts Re:Com Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded Kingdom Hearts COM 1 AlixtheMagi13 reacted to this
ssceles 134 Posted July 10, 2011 (Clearly you guys with load problems weren't using the install data. o_O No problems here.) I haven't played re:Coded. I wouldn't say its overrated. Overrated to me means a game that the people say they like that I disagree with. Yeah, official statements are one thing, but public opinion matters. It's no one's favorite, so its far from overrated if its already at the bottom of this thread's ratings. Overrated is a game everyone loves and you don't share the sentiment. My vote is KH2. It lacked the emotional depth and plot of KH1 and I nearly stopped playing. Everyone seems to LOVE Organization XIII. (And they did even prior to the release of Days.) I felt they were shallow as far as enemies go and I didn't see the point of fighting them to begin with. (But most people make comment on how easily Sora was lead around with the 'look, Sora, its bad, fight it!' routine. I'm not alone in this thought.) They made a better game, graphically, with better controls, but it had no actual life to it, in my opinion. Second vote goes to 358/2 Days and this has nothing to do with public opinion but from advertising prospective - you had no idea you were buying a game with such horrible controls and only a handful of actual pre-rendered video segments. It was disappointing. It brought the necessary depth into Organization XIII, so it has its saving graces. Stop for a moment and imagine a remake of this on a better handheld device or even a console. Smile over the fact this alone means the game is better both graphically, controller-wise, and with more of the scenes actually fleshed out for video. That'd be awesome, wouldn't it? I don't think Chain of Memories is overrated. It's the most underrated of the entire series because most people never even knew it existed before playing KH2. It was for the Gameboy Advance. re:Chain of Memories for the PS2 may come off as 'overrated' to those of you who never played the original. It's perfectly rated and totally awesome to me, as someone who did. 2 keystrike and Mudkip9123 reacted to this

hatok 6,413 Posted July 10, 2011 It seems a lot of people are making their decisions based on arbitrary reasons. Overrated doesn't mean 'games you don't like' it means 'games that are praised more highly than they deserved' Which I personally believe goes to Days. Hands down. Got any problem with the game? No! It has Organization XIII as a brief cameo in a story about a character that just jumbles a once simple (By KH standards) plot. 1 Mudkip9123 reacted to this
riku023 2 Posted July 10, 2011 yeah i dont know why a lot of people kh fans hate days recoded and recom so much i bet if days and recoded had ps2 graphics and were remade like com they wouldnt hate them one thing i didnt like about days was no secret ending its the only kh game that doesnt have one nomura needs to do something about that i dont care what anyone else says but i think days and recoded should be remade for like the 3ds ps3 or something like a bundle together with better graphics and give days a secret ending sheesh doesnt have to be soon but somewhere in the future and for people that thinks recom is hard come on man do you suck that bad i beat both the english and japanese versions of that game on proud mode at the same time i played the english one first then went right into the japanese one
