Crimson 14 Posted December 17, 2009 It does sound ok when we say it, but some of the characters have real trouble saying it, and thats when it annoys me, Like when Axel says 'Shiiiowwn'. It makes me cringe every time he says it..
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted January 9, 2010 The characters in the game actually say She-own. But i like Zion better. Shi-on sounds good too. Axel says it with like a fake accent. i think.
Patcheresu 8 Posted March 16, 2010 Japanese Romanji: Shi+o+n (Shee-on) They are told to pronounce it Shion because saying Zion would cause massive pronounciation wars. Don't get me started on what happened when people compared Kyorge to the JAP name in Pokemon. This is a Kingdom Hearts thread and it should stay on topic. Ven 4 Posted March 17, 2010 Shee-on. ?i? ?n. Notice the ? which is pronounced like o in "doll" or "bottle", short but sharp. Also notice that the FIRST syllable has to be accentuated. The pronunciation is NOT "She-own" as they say it in the Englsih version of the game. However, the correct spelling for pronunciation is p-r-o-n-u-n-c-i-a-t-i-o-n. Marluxia1313 0 Posted May 10, 2010 My friend and i had an on going argument about wether it was "shi-on" "xion" or "zion" his argument was if it was pronounced "Shion" than Zexion would be "Zeshion" but we looked it up and it seems to just be a translation mess up we think it is "zheeon"

Actually, the english pronunciation is correct, in a way. Instead of pronouncing it like, well, "Shi-on", they opted to pronounce it the same way the Japanese do, where O is said if it was the word "no".
