Rue 3 Posted July 3, 2011 Okay so, I found this Dub while browsing on YT and I LOVE AQUA AND VANITAS in this dub. I Don't know who these two people are,but they are FANTASTIC!! What do you guys think? http://youtu.be/IqAubolz228 I think these two should of been the official voice actors for Aqua and Vanitas. Aqua: she sounds very sweet and caring, not all over the place and actually has that strong Sence of kindness and fair motherly additude. (well in an anime forum) Vanitas: this Edmond Guy fits Vanitas like a bug. Strong, Arrogant and Mysterious, but at the same time I like how he lose's his cool then instantly collects it back in mere seconds. Its kinda like [spoiler/] Billy Loomis form Scream, one minute he's this nice guy, but soon he unravels into a crazy out of the box madman[/spoiler/] I love that for vanitas. keystrike 145 Posted July 3, 2011 I guess my biggest problem with Aqua's voice in that is that its not what I'm used to, but Vanitas... he just sounds like a cliche psychopath mad scientist, and so he really doesn't seem like that believable of a character to me. It's closer to his voice in Brotherhood than in the original series, but no one's posted the english version on Youtube to link to. (It's episode 18 & 19 if you have it.) Rue 3 Posted August 5, 2011 @Ansem BLIMEY! Another Dr. Who Fan, to?! Did you see the comic-con trailer Yet? LOOKS AMAZING!! Oh and finally saw it, well Japanese version so I still don;t see it,but i guess with the vocal effects works and are in fact the same way. but its a new refresh and original take. I liek. THE ONLY THING that bothers me about this,is the laugh for vanitas. it is how keystirke said cliche' but it jsut feels over acting. other than that, i like the darker emphisis on Van and originally. It's different. Same with Aqua, it sounds very "Anime-ish" to me. again there feels not much disney quality, but it could work for something taking the Final Fantasy Unlimited Anime route.
