DChiuch 5,773 Posted June 26, 2011 I like it for the most part. Looks more professional. And now I'm thinking of making more animated gifs so I can just spam my sig with them I just noticed everyone's recent stats has been removed from the forum's main page. I really liked reading those when I came to the forums.Do you mean the list of people online in the day?
Kaiso 2,764 Posted June 26, 2011 It did confuse me at the start. I was kind of wondering if I entered the right address. o3o It looks pretty nice so far! I just have to look around to know where a few things are! But I like it. c: but this happened when I went to my profile settings and clicked on a different tab than the main one: Fatal error: Call to undefined method skin_ucp_8::membersAboutMeForm() in /home/dchiuch/public_html/kh13.com/forum/admin/applications/members/extensions/usercpForms.php on line 1668 also if your website is too long it kind of goes over and into your post. o3o
khoathkeeper13 429 Posted June 26, 2011 I'm getting used to it now. I just noticed that the size of signatures aren't cut off or anything when you post. For example Vanitas' reeeaallllllyyyy LONG sig

DragonMaster 1,166 Posted June 27, 2011 Heh, I don't log on in forever and I come to find an updated version of the update version of the site. I was confused at first, but I quickly found that nearly everything was the same. I like it.
Lt Ultima 82 Posted June 27, 2011 I'm not going to keep the site the same forever just because some people can't be bothered readjusting. You need to have improvements now and then, it's silly to think 'okay it's done, not changing anything anymore'. I believe this is because the allowed size for profile pics has increased. I can make them smaller if you want to be restricted more... If you can't find your way around, I'm sorry but that's your own fault really. The structure of the website hasn't changed at all, I don't see where the difficulty comes from. Yes, we're aware of the "website" thing, but thanks. Any specific complaints? i have one lol the profiles are odd and i dont like that only like 5 of my friends are visible enless i press friends

Amon 4,279 Posted June 27, 2011 6 Reasons why I hate the new forums 6. Embedding images fails 50% of the time 5. Half my stuffz got deleted 4. I don't need to see the avatar of a person to know who made the thread 3. There are so many flashy icons that little to no purpose and they take up half the screen. 2. Pasting simple text causes the tab to crash (in chrome) 1. The basic IP Board layout was perfectly fine. Why was it necessary to change it?

Firstly, thanks for actually having well defined reasons rather than being all " I dont like it >: " 6. Are specific images failing all the time? If this is the case, I can probably fix it. You should report which images don't work. 5. What got deleted? 4. The avatars provide some well needed colour to our layout, which many would have called "boring" before. 3. Like what... examples? 2. I'm using Chrome without issue... 1. IP.Board have brought out a new version, 3.2, and with that comes a new default skin. It was impossible for me to use the old skin, I had to take the 3.2 skin and work on that from scratch. See http://community.invisionpower.com/ 6. Sometimes when I add image tags to a legitimate image link, the image never appears. 5. My Avatar and about me page went bye bye. 4. The old version was bland yes, but it had functionality. Large images that don't fit any niche remove functionality by taking up space, causing longer loading times and so on and so forth. 3. First we have the orange "HOT" icons. They are fine to be perfectly honest but I wouldn't count 10 replies as a hot topic. This causes these icons to come up more often then necessary. Next are the preview topic icons which aren't so much as a preview but to see who were the last few people to post. I also don't know what those price tag looking icons near some thread titles mean and what purpose they fill. 2.Hmm could be a local issue for me then. 1. I see, though was the update required? I'm part of another forum that hasn't updated to this version yet so I'm wondering if they choose not to update.

I'm part of another forum that hasn't updated to this version yet so I'm wondering if they choose not to update. 6. As I said, give me some specific examples so I can try and resolve the issue. 5. "About me"s from the old site (as in, March/April old) were removed, as there's already an About Me section on the new site as well so we were doubling up. "Avatars" and "Photos" were merged into one system, with Avatars being kept, so if you would have had a photo instead which got removed. That said, it's pretty easy for me to go find that stuff for you if you really want it back, just have to ask. 4. Where are the large images? 3. I was thinking about removing the "HOT", I probably will. The preview icons are staying, they're very helpful, allowing you to see the first and last poster of a thread without having to open it. People will love that feature. As for the "price tag icons", yeah, another thing I've been meaning to remove. 2. Yeah maybe... the new text editor is very snazzy though. It's amazing how you can see the formatting before you post. And furthermore, try dragging an image or something in there, it'll actually appear. 1. The update wasn't required, no, but it's nice to move forward. The update brings a lot of new features, and cleans up a lot of the old features. Once things are sorted and people settle in, it'll mean a better experience for everyone.

DChiuch 5,773 Posted June 29, 2011 I miss the old site very much. This new site is too Facebook-ey By old site, do you mean a few months ago, or a week ago...? Either way, I don't see what's "Facebook-ey" apart from the status updates and such, which you don't have to participate. Everything else is still the same.
