The man swiped his blade down to deflect another blade that did not belong to Saphiria, Rai flipping back in front of her. "Dangerous target.....elimination suggested." Rai said in a android like tone, his eyesnarrowed and soulless. It seemed as if he did not even notice Saphiroa at all due to the difference in power level of her and her brother,that meaning Rai would attack the one who was more of a threat. "Humph...I was warned about you." Her brother said with a laugh and then was not laughing at how he was knocked back, dodging the left away from Rai's blade, Rai charging again as her brother lifted his blade, Rai vanished to his side and was still running at him. Rai grabbed her brothers face and swiped his hand down,tossing him into a nearby tree.

Saphira stared for a second. "Rai?"Saphira asks. He didn't seemed like himself for a few moments. Then Saphira's brother starts to laugh. He laughed and then looked back up and smirked. He stood up and got the blade on his shoulder. "Now I see why I was warned so much about you."He says. Saphira went up one step. "Brother,Azure,stop this!"Saphira says. Azure laughs. "Why should I?!"Azure asks as he then looked at Rai and then her snaps his fingers. This huge Lion summon appears,he turns into a warrior and attacks at Rai. Azure turns towards Saphira and walks over to her. "Come on sis. Kill me."Azure taunts. Saphira shakes and growls.

Rai'new speed was not to be messed with as he quickly fought the summon, blocking every blow without any problems. "Perish." Rai brought down his sword and the summon was trapped in a warped second dimension,Rai seemingly to be slashing at nothing in mid-air but when he sheethed his sword, the summon received all the damnage and then vanished. Her brother was not amused and tried to slash Rai in half from behind but Rai took to the air and attached a long steel chain to his weapon so he could whip it around like a long ranged weapon at her brother, her brother swiping it away as Rai landed on his feet. Rai charged againand dodge rolled away from a midsection attack by her brother,his sword still free on the chain behind him. Rai quickly caught the blade and knocked her brother away again.

joe was lieing with hope when he heard fighting he quickly turned "fang sazh keep an eye on hope i'll be back as soon as i can" they both node and joe runs off towords the fighting when he reachs the noise he sees rai and saphira along with two others fighting joe then saw the lion summon joe grabbed a crystal from his arm "draco knock back that summon" draco then appeared attacking the lion summon joe then jumped beside saphira gunblade in hand "whats going on and who our them two"

Saphira breathed. "That's the man that took over me. You don't reconize him because his hood is off. And..."Saphira says. She breathed. "And he's my brother,Azure."Saphira says. She stared as Rai fought against him. Azure laughed again. "That's all you got?"Azure asks. Azure then raises his blade high up and slams it down making the earth rise and hit Rai hard along with the others. Azure was having fun with this fight. He laughed in enjoyment.

As the dustgave Rai some cover his summon rose from the cloud of dirt, swallowing her brother in it's mouthto give Rai some time to recover, Azure slashing the beast into oblivion quickly and was free. As the dust cleared Rai was in a suit of gundam-like armor with a vizor that revealed only onered eye. Rai leaped into the air and shattered the ground when he jumped, coming down on Azure with great force but he jumped out of the way before Rai's sword hit the ground, causing another dust cloud. "The hell are you?" He asked, Rai charging again from the cloud and knocked him back, continuing the attack while Azure ran backwards and blocked Rai's many attacks. It was easy to block Rai for a while until he found an opening and sent him flying, Rai charging up a blast of lime green energy and launched the Mega Flare from his hand, her brother slashing at it but it exploded on impact and a mushroom shaped cloud formed. Her brother was not done yet as he appeared behing Rai and slashed down his back, it suddenly healing quickly as Rai turned and knocked him back.

joe looked at azure then at saphirra "your parents ignored you for this guy yikes this just makes it worse" joe then charged at azure "now i got to deal with me azure and lets just say i have a little combat skills under my belt then the others" "ya you dont even have a keyblade what chance do you stand against me with out one" "i'm going to go with alot even if i didnt have one" "wait what" joe then summoned oathkeeper and swung causing azure to smash against a cliff

Azure grunted and stared at the three of them. "Your all tougher than expected,especially you two."Azure says glaring at both Joe and Rai. Azure stood up and flinched a bit. He stood up and rose hi blade and used Thundaga on all of them. "Come and face me,whenI di,atleast I bring my dear sister with me to the grave!"Azure yells as he then laughed maniacly. Saphira stared and then growled. Azure smirked at them and taunted them to attack.

joe looked at azure about to attack when he stopped and thought for a second "bring my dear sister to the grave with me" joe quickly turned to saphira confused but asked anyway "saphira is azures life tied to yours meaning if he dies you die and if you die he dies" joe questioned not shore

"I don't think so. Just rememeber my brand. If he dies,and I don't kill him,I become a beast,if I kill him,I become a crystal."Saphira says as she glared at Azure. Azure laughed even more and smiled widely. "Always so persistant. But you two are fun to mess with."Azure says as he jumps back. "You have another day to live,I can't say the total same for your friends. Remember sister,who will live at the end of all of this?Me,you,or all of your friends from this world?"Azure asks. "That does it!"Saphira says as she swung her blade at him and he then dissapeared laughing.

joe looks as azure disappears joe then looks to saphira "saphira so your bother killing him is your focus" saphira nodes joe looks at her "man i wish i could help you out with what to do but one other thing is still annoying me how did he know what your focus was i thought you hadnt seen your family in ages"

"LIke I just told you. He was the man we faced back there. He never took his hood off,that's why I never ever reconized him. He was the one who took over me and the darkness in my heart. He was the one who made me fight against you guys. The coward just showed his face now...I don't know what has happened to him to do this."Saphira says. The man that she was destined to kill was her brother all along. She growled to herself anf sighed. "Well,guess I have no choice."Saphira says.

joe looks to saphira and shook his head "man saphira i dont know what to tell you i'm at a loss sorry when it comes to stopping focuss i dont have any idea but remember thats why where here on gran pulse trying to find away to get rid of our brands" saphira then nodes joe then sees lightning and snow arrive "hey guys" snow said "a lightning snow we got a problem something happened to hope his bran let out some kind of energy blast or something and it knocked him out cold" "what" lightning and snow then ran towards the camp to looked to saphira and rai "hey come on lets go back"

(Attention...this next move will NOT kill him. Just weaken extreamly) Rai stood there unphased by theshock because he used his sword as a conducter and the lightning then redirected into the chains. Rai moved around Azure at blinding speed as he placed six copies of his sword around Azure in a alter like manner, a large symbol appearing in the ground. Each sword copy began to glow with a red light and shot beams from each handel which trapped Azure."Hahahahahahah! You think this weak crap can hold me!?" Azure began to break the beams by will but in a matter of seconds they returned, Rai appearing behind Azure."Ur interface complete...Unit Raiga deployed." The alter created a portal above Rai and Azure, a giant sword slowly emurging from it. "Perish now."Rai let his hand fall and the large sword did as well, a largeexplosion ofdark energy errupting and knocked Joe and Saphiria back. When the smoke cleared her brother began to walk out of the crater, obviously damnaged greatly. "Damage sustained. Extrodinary target." Rai said robotically.

BIC: joe and the others walked back to where the others were joe then saw hope was still out cold "so no change in him" fang turned to joe "none since you left him with us" joe looks down fang then looks to lightning "so what did you guys find today" "a whole lot of nothing" "joe what about you" "some guy did attack me but another person not from this world so he doesnt count" everyone looked at joe "what everything he said to me made no sense plus i cant remember what he said" joe was lieing still trying to figure out what the man meant

Rai remained there standing alone as he did not utter a word as light began to illuminate around his armor, the pieces braking off and forging weapons. The arm and leg pieces morphed into a heavyblade while the chestplate and back plate became two pistols with long rectangular barrels. The feet and hand pieces became the holsters for his gun and the visor and helm became the metal strap for his sword that hung from his hip. Rai'shair was now steel silver and one eye was golden and the other was blue, Rai turning around to his friends slowly and walked back to the camp quietly.

joe noticed it was beginning to get dark so he began to light a fire everyone then looked at hope worried snow then stands up angry "so this is how it ends" joe looks at him "what do you mean" sazh then talked "just wait now how long has it been since we left cocoon hm not a single soul for miles who was from this world and not a single clue about this whole l'cie mess what i'm saying is we did well just getting this far" vanille then stepped away from hope "but we could go a little futher" everyone looked to vanille "theres still one place" fang then looks at vanille "vanille! are you shore?" Rai looked on as he lened up against a rock and watched closely, the guardian like creature seeming to stare Hope down to see what he would do. ("Cummon kid...stand your ground. You can do this.") Rai thought to himself, folding his arms over his chest.

joe looked at the huge eidolon "man that thing is intimadating" "no kidding" joe looks to hope "a no worrys you can handle it well give you a hand" joe smiled while drawing his gun blade joe then jumped behind the eidolon slashing at its back knocking it forword for hope "hope come on remember your the only one who can beat this thing we can help but its you whos got to win this" "ya" hope then begins to all kinds of spells at the creature knocking it back while joe knocks it back forword towards hope eventually hope caused the eidolon to fall to the floor "now hope" "right" hope then jumped back the eidolon as it changed its form into some king of fortress like machine

"Adda boy!" Rai said as he approached Hope on the armored fortress. "Now..knowing that kind of power rests in you...still stayn behind?" Rai asked with a smirk. "Hehe..no way..you guys need me help." Rai felt a sens of pride hit him and smiled when he noticed Hope seemed brighter.

everyone looks at hope joe then nodes to what rai had said then noticing the eidolon fade away sazh then walked up to hope putting his arm on his shoulder "thats some beast you tamed i'll tell ya that" "yeah i always thought the eidolons appeared to set us free throw death. but now i think maybe theyre here to snap us out of our slumps" snow laughed at hope "you mean like the one you were just in" "ill ask for help earlyer next time around" vanille then ran and hugged hope "i told you on Gran Pulse we're all family you can moan all you like but youre stuck with us" sazh then jokes "your never alone in hell" fang then glares at sazh "listean funny man dont call this place hell all right" joe rolls his eyes joe then turns to lightning as she starts to talk "so were all desided then" everyone looks to lightning and nodes joe then looks around "next stop Oerba but lets wait till tomorrow before we leave its bit to dark for now"

Rai nodded as he knew that he too needed some rest after today, resting his back against a tree while standing up. "Sure you don't want to lie down?" Asked Vanille gently, Rai nodding as he closed his eyes. As he began to fall into a deep sleep a strange dream began to occure, Rai being tossed into a deep blue ocean and he began to fall downward but then he was suddenly floating horazontally as if the ocean had changed position. "Where am I?" He asked himself in the dream world, feeling the place rumble violently as he saw tons and tons of Station of Awakenings begin to rise and form buildings all around but none of them were his. The stations then began to forge into a dark city The World That Never Was, Rai looking down at it from above. "Welcome home." Said a soft voice above him, wearing a hooded cape and barely any clothes under it. The woman had long black hair that was tied at the end by a large dagger, her chest and lower body covered by some sort of black leather armor. The hood on her head concealed her identity and only her mouth could be seen, smirking at him. "Home?" "Yes Rai....the place you fell you actually belong in."

when ever one began going to sleep joe sat by the ship leaning against sitting down then yawning "man talk about a world thats something else amazing so full of life but also so dangerous and out rages" joe laughed a bit then closing his eyes he yawned "tomorrow where heading to Oerba from the way fang and vanille said it it sound like its going to be a nice place but then again those two were in a crystal sleep who knows how long so stuff could of changed alot since they were last there" joe then yawns again falling asleep

"Now. You won't be needing this." The woman then moved from where she stood so quickly that before Rai noticed she slipped from his line of sight she was in front of him,jabbing her hand strait into his stomatch but was digging into the pit of his soul. "GAAAAHHH!" Rai yelled in pure pain, feeling the woman tug away a part of his soul which made it burn with pain, the hooded figure pulling out what at first looked like a white longsword until she tore it from Rai's soul completly and tossed it into the ground behind her. Rai fell to one knee in agony as he huffed harshly as his body began to regenerate. The pure white longsword began to glow and turn into a white liquid which slowly began to take shape of Rai's android form. "Using a Suasano Unit is a danger to your soul...it may give you great power but it blocks your true ones." She said,Rai rising back up from the floor.
