Kairi and Xion’s Future Voice Actress

As I’m sure we all know, Hayden Panettiere voiced Kairi in Kingdom Hearts 1, and Kingdom Hearts 2, but did not voice her in Re: Chain of Memories.

 

Alyson Stoner voiced Kairi in Re: CoM; because of that she voiced Xion in 358/2 Days (and Kairi in re-dubbed flashbacks).

 

However, Hayden came back and voiced both Kairi and Xion in Birth by Sleep.

 

So my question is, who will voice the girls in the next games? Who do you want to voice them in the next games? Do we have any idea why Hayden and Alyson have both stopped voicing them at certain times?

 

Personally, I want Hayden to voice Kairi, but I want Alyson to voice Xion. It’s what I’m used to. But Kairi and Xion are supposed to have the same voice, so that probably won’t happen.

Perhaps it's because Hayden Panettiere only voices characters in the main games (BBS, KH1, KH2) and Alyston Stoner voices in the lesser games (358/2 Days), possibly because Panettiere is a higher c woulass actor than Stoner and gets paid for. That's just my two cents. I'd guess Panettiere would be voicing Kairi in the rest of the games since KH3D, BBSV2, and KH3 are main games, but it's possible if Xion were to come back Stoner would voice her as well.

I agree with J. Severe; Hayden will probably be around to voice her in the main installments, at least I hope so. I prefer her way more than Alyson. Her voice just irks me for some reason; I just don't like it. As Kairi anyway. I'm so used to Hayden's voice that anyone else voicing Kairi bugs me, kinda like with Namine. I wanted Brittany Snow to come back to voice her, since she had that gentleness about her and did really well with it in KHII. Meghan Jette Martin was kinda...eh.

 

Personally, I prefer the original actresses. It just works better for me, and keeps things steady.

Alyson sucks.....alot....whenever I listen to her in the games, it sounds like a fandub. =/ So I was VERY happy to hear Hayden voice Xion and Kairi in BbS, and if any of the 2 appear in Dream Drop Distance, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Hayden comes back...since it is a big game. > >!

Well Hayden Panettiere is the MAIN voice actress for KAIRI (and she had to be Xion for that). I'm guessing that she had work when KH:358/2 Days and KH:CoM needed her so they had to find another actress by casting or another way and foun Alyson Stoner. So if she is available for the next projects (KH:DDD, KH:BBSv2 and KH3) SHE IS SURE TO BE THERE!!! AND I HOPE TOO, BUT IS MOST LIKELY TO BE THERE BECAUSE IF SHE CAME BACK TO SAY A SINGLE LINE IN BBS SECRET ENDING I BET SHE WOULD RETURN NOW THAT IT SEEMS THERE WILL BE EVEN GAMEPLAY FOR KAIRI!!! (I GUESS)

Yeah. I really preferred Brittany as Naminé. But I'm used to Meghan now. At first I hated her as Naminé, but now I think she does a good job. She, in some ways, seems to have more emotion than Brittany (at certain times, anyway). I really loved the way she said this line in CoM, "I don't care what happens to me. I won't hurt Sora! I won't do it!"

 

Anyway, it is disheartening that so many of the stars (a lot of time the girls') get a big head, and don't voice the characters anymore. Yuffie's voice has changed, Leon's, Sephiroth's (not complaining about that one), Xehanort's Heartless/Ansem Seeker of Darkness', Ansem the Wise's, and Aerith's. That one was the worst change for me. Mandy Moore did an amazing job with Aerith! Mena Suvari is just painful to listen to. I swear, I love Tangled, but I was mad at Mandy the entire time while I watched it. "Oh. You'll do THIS character for Disney, but stopped being Aerith."

 

Since I doubt Mandy will ever come back, I hope Andrea Bowen (who voiced Aerith in Crisis Core) continues to do so. I actually really liked her. However, the originals are always better.

 

You know, I just thought of something! Maybe Hayden isn’t just doing the main titles (despite the evidence). I mean, Christopher Lee voiced Ansem the Wise in KH2, and Days (not a main title), but he didn’t voice him in Re: Chain of Memories, or BbS (which is a main title). Hmm…

Yeah, I was thinking around the same lines. I strongly believe Kairi might be playable in BbSV2 or KH3. It would make sense if Hayden wanted to be there for that. In the end, I bet she'll be both Kairi and Xion from now on.
