Superman Doesn't Love Lois Lane

Recommended Posts

here's article about ign

It's been a worry of many DC Comics fans that the publisher would pull a One More Day in the upcoming DC Comics relaunch and disintegrate the long-standing marriage between Clark Kent and Lois Lane. In an interview with Popcornbiz, DC Comics co-publisher Dan Didio pretty much confirmed it.

"Let's just say it's [the relationship] being reexamined. Because it's something that I think is something that is so valuable to the character's story that you really want to explore all facets of it. Not just as it exists currently."

Didio continued, touching on Grant Morrison's involvement with the Superman changes. "We really went back to the core of the character. And more importantly, we got somebody in Grant Morrison, who's really taking the character and reinventing him so you feel a real contemporary tone, a really contemporary time, but still staying true to the core. I think it's so important for us to make sure Superman stays as relevant today as he did when he first was created back in the '30s."

So there you have it. Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Divorce Court? How's that for the American way? To be fair, it remains to be seen how DC would handle such a change, so we'll reserve judgment for now.

Hey, look at it this way. Next time Clark marries Lois, he can do it without a goofy pony tail.

One More Day is one of the dumbest spiderman comics i have read.As comicbook fan i am not lovig dc reboot that much but i guess i will wait and see

im growing more and more okay with the dc reboot. i can understand starting the relationship over; theyre starting everything over. thats not to say the marriage wont ever happen again.

we'll just have to wait and see, like you said >:

i liked Barbera as Oracle but i guess it's nice to see her as batgirl again. Also Gail Simone said that Cass and Steph will be making an appearance in some way.So i wonder what they will be doing with character and they could be just put her in Batman inc.

i was pissed, lol! shes iconic in her wheelchair and they threw her back as batgirl because 'thats what people are used of'. what? then why is damien robin? makes no sense. she went through years of character development because of her wheelchair and prevailed to be one of the greatest characters in the dcverse despite her disability, now theyre like firetruckitletsjustmakeherbatgirltrololololo

ohhh good. theyll probably just be side characters i guess, i can see steph being spoiler again, and maybe theyll keep the blackbat? idk.

also, i love how just you and me can keep one thread going with ontopic discussion on our own lol

that's kinda funny lol.Hopefully she does become Oracle later on(One of best female comicbook characters).Idk what they will do with Blackbat.I also want to Know who's going to be Question either Vic Sage or Renee Montoya and who's going to be the blue bettle.I wish they would anwser who's who in Dc reboot. It also intersing they are changing Wonder Woman,Superman and others costumes to make them more updated.I Hope dc didn't loss some of it's hardcore of this reboot. Also with this reboot it gives alot of writers to do there dream projects.

Jamal’s project could be the same as the one Gail Simone is on, or a different one. I guess we’ll find out with DC’s October 2011 solicits. Will that be the month where DC starts to announce some of its mini-series to continue the DC Comics Relaunch? Those it needs to complete and/or new ones?
