It makes it easier to recognise the site with a visual representation and it could also be used in the icon next to favourite links. Like how gmail has the envelope and game faqs has the the blue G. We currently do have a favicon, and it's a little blue crown. Doesn't this load properly for everyone? I suspect Internet Explorer might have some problems with it. DChiuch 5,773 Posted February 5, 2009 Well, I think I've fixed the favicon issue. It seems like IE doesn't support them in PNG format... in any case, IE7 is now loading it properly.
