You can't expect Dream Drop Distance to be at E3 when the English version has not even begun development. It was only there last year because the 3DS was announced there and Nourma attended. AJTREY 70 Posted June 10, 2011 To be perfectly honest, I think that Dream Drop Distance has a very slim chance of showing; as for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Vol. 2, I say, just forget about it. square has way too many projects right now, what with completing Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and even Dream Drop Distance. I knew that about Dream Drop Distance (I never expected it at E3) they weren't gonna show a new preview for it in America first when Japan hasn't even gotten a new preview. So they can't start development on the English version yet. For Birth by Sleep English development started around about three months I think it was to the release in Japan of BBS. That's Final Fantasy though. They have a good record of releasing Final Fantasy game's English versions after the release in Japan. Just compare Final Fantasy 13 - Birth by Sleep. But maybe they aren't announcing anything because they're saving it for TGS when they have the game nearly complete? Well, first of all, I'm pretty sure the entire staff of Square Enix plans to marry Final Fantasy XIII, second BBS had been in development hell for quite a while, most likely it was one of the last games to use Squares old 'wait until everything Japanese is done before starting the English' style.
