Okay guys, I hope you’ve been enjoying all these latest chapters of my story!  As you can see now things are heating up for the end!  I hope you all keep on reading!  So then, ladies and gentlemen, here is the next chapter!
 
Chapter 36: A Tragic Day

Slowly but surely, Disney Castle is being destroyed.  The Four Spirits unleash their full scale power and cause all manner of natural disasters. The people of Disney Town run amok with fear and desperation, and The Keyblade Wielders do their best to defend the townspeople.  Kairi slays the suddenly numerous Unborn that appear out of nowhere, and Sora rushes to her side.
Kairi: This isn’t good!  They all came so suddenly!  How will we be able to defeat them?
Sora: We’re just going to have to keep fighting until our strength gives away.
Kairi: Sora…is there any hope for us?  Or are we doomed to fail and see the end of all things?
Sora: I…I don’t know Kairi.  But I do know this.  What  we do now can make a difference.
Kairi and Sora nod in agreement, and they kiss each other passionately before going into battle.  They know they’ll be able to pull out of this alive.  They have to.  The hopes and dreams of countless of lives rest on their shoulders.  And so they plunge into battle, slaying Unborn as they go.  Donald and Goofy also rush to the aid of Sora and Kairi and fight valiantly.  In the courtyard, Dexeres and Riku fight off Unborn with their Nobody allies by their side.  The Shadow Seeker and Xion fight Unborn in the castle hallways, and Cid, Yuffie, Aerith and Leon mount the airship and rain down fire to their foes.  For now it seems to work, but The Four Spirits seem to be immune to the airships attacks.  Ventus, Trish and Vanitas try to make their way to Kyle and Lunar, who are surrounded by The Four Spirits, but are cut off by giant Unborn Bulls.  Kyle slowly stands up and gulps nervously, but then remembers what Vanitas told him, about facing the reality of the situation.  He then looks up at Pyros and opens his arms wide.
Kyle: Be done with it.  Destroy me.
Lunar: What?
Windrayda: Ha, the boy seems to want death.  You have made the right choice.  For one with such knowledge as you is unworthy of existing.  But we thank you for creating us.
Pyros: Indeed.  But you have seen too much Kyle, and for all this, you must not bare witness.
Aquaon: Perish now boy!
Earthcall: Die like your mother and father before you!
In that instant, Kyle’s eyes flashed, and he froze, thinking of his parents.  He looks down and mutters under his breath: “Mom…Dad…
Lunar growls and goes in front of Kyle.
Lunar: You won’t die Kyle.  You won’t die on me!
Kyle: But…I deserve to die.  I brought this chaos to the world…
Lunar: No Kyle!  This was all Xylek’s doing!  He made you summon them!  Before that you had them sealed safely!  It wasn’t your fault!  The enemy made you release them because you were in a trance!
Kyle: But, if I had strength of heart, I could have been able to break through the trance.
Lunar: You are young Kyle.  Your journey in life is just beginning.  Don’t let your light extinguish.
Pyros: Enough of this!  Die!
Pyros summons giant swords of fire and throws them towards Kyle, but Lunar counterattacks with Blizzaga magic.  Lunar then closes his eyes and slowly starts to transform into a more adult and savage wolf form.  His fangs are razor sharp, and his commitment to protect Kyle make him even stronger.
Aquaon: What is this?
Immediately, Aquaon throws spheres of raging water towards Lunar, and Lunar blocks the attacks and counterattacks with Thundaga.  Kyle watches in despair, as he finds that there’s nothing he can do except watch and witness all that is happening.  Lunar looks back to Kyle and then keep fighting the Four Spirits. “Kyle…this is not your time to die…”
 
Meanwhile, Kairi, Sora, Donald and Goofy continue to cut their way through the Unborn, and saving as many townspeople as they can.  When they head a little more down the town, they see King Mickey and Queen Minnie pinned in an alley against swarms of Unborn.  They’re fighting as best as they can, but they’re being overwhelmed.
Sora: Mickey, Minnie!
King Mickey: Sora!
Sora furiously slays the Unborn swarms, and Donald and Goofy determined and filled with courage, go to the rescue of their king and queen.  Kairi wards off the rest of the Unborn with a barrier, and they make their way to King Mickey and Queen Minnie.
Donald: Your Majesty, are you all right!?
Goofy: I hope you both are okay!
King Mickey: Yes, we’re fine.
Queen Minnie: Thank you for coming to help us!
Kairi: Come on, we have to keep saving as many townspeople as we can!  Donald, go with Mickey and Minnie!  Sora, Goofy and me will take care of the other side of town!
They nod instantaneously and split up to their respective paths.  They see all the tornados and floods and flames and boulders destroying the homes of good hardworking people, and they feel helpless, for even though they’re doing the best they can to save the people, they can’t stop the impending enormity of all the destruction that lies before them.  Kairi, Sora and Goofy go towards the center of town when suddenly The Master appears before them.
The Master: So Sora, we meet at last.
Sora: You’re the one behind this!  You’re the leader of Illushiouhus and the others!
The Master: Your guess is correct, Chosen One of the Keyblade.
Kairi: You’re a monster!  Look around you!  Is this what you really want?
Goofy: Why would you want for so much destruction!?
The Master: Hmph, you are such incompetent fools.  Isn’t it obvious?  Kingdom Hearts is what we seek, and dominance over all things.  Destroying all opposition is necessary.
Sora: We’re the ones you want, but not the innocent townspeople!  Where’s your honor!?
The Master: Ha Ha Ha!  So naïve, and so foolish.  A pity.  Your power could have been of great use.  But it does not matter now.
Kairi: Wait!
But before anything else is said, The Master vanishes and an Unborn Gladiator rises from the ground and looms menacingly over them.  Kairi draws a sigil of light with her Keyblade and summons a pillar of light to repel the Unborn, but to no effect, as it simply brakes the pillar.  Goofy nods at Sora, and they instantly perform their new technique, the Goof-n-Roll.
Sora: Let’s do this!
Goofy: All right!
And in an instant, Sora launches Goofy like a spear, and Goofy breaks through the Unborn Gladiator’s shield.  But then the Unborn swipes them with it’s arm and sends them hurling to a nearby house.  Then it turns it’s attention to Kairi, intending to kill her in one shot.  But Kairi’s eyes turn a bright pale yellow, and she unleashes a devastating attack of light that goes into the Unborn’s armor and devastates it.  When the light dissipates, the armor is gone, but the Unborn still remains, but now at least it’s weakened.  The Unborn Gladiator tries to make a last desperate attack, but Sora, Goofy, and Kairi unite their powers and form an arrow of light that pierces through the Unborn.  They keep running to rescue the townspeople as the Unborn fades into nothingness.  Then, numerous Berserker Nobodies also rush to the aid of Sora, Kairi and Goofy.
 
Back at the courtyard, the Unborn increase in numbers and try to pin down Dexeres and the others.  But they fight back, and try to drive off the rest.  The airship continues to push back the strongest Unborn, but everything is not looking good for The Keyblade Wielders.  Earthcall pounds the ground and causes fissures all over and makes Kyle and Lunar lose balance.  Kyle then falls through a fissure, but manages to grab on to a ledge.  Lunar looks back and sees Kyle about to fall through the abyss. 
Lunar: Kyle!  Hang in there!
Ventus and Trish see what is happening, and they plow through the Unborn swarms with sheer rage.  They try to go to Kyle and Lunar, but it seems The Four Spirits have made a barrier in which no one can enter.  Ventus and Trish can only watch in horror as The Four Spirits do away with Kyle and Lunar.  Windrayda summons a powerful gust of wind that wipes out the Keyblade Wielders and sends them hurling towards Disney Town.  The castle crumbles down completely, and only ruins are left.  Kyle sees all the destruction unfolding around him and he climbs up and stands in front of Lunar and confronts the spirits.
Kyle: Stop this!  Stop causing destruction!  You are forces of nature, not forces of evil!
Pyros: Ah, it seems the little boy is trying to sum up some courage.  But it is all for naught, you impudent fool.
Aquaon: Admit your defeat, and we can at least give you a clean, honorable death.
Lunar: You are the ones who are fools, serving under the forces of darkness!  You are forces of nature!  You are supposed to keep the balance between light and darkness, for even I realize that without darkness, there cannot be light, and without light, there cannot be darkness.  They are equal deities, but never can they coalesce.  That’s why you must keep the balance!
Earthcall: Listen to this mutt, claiming to know the way of things.  Now then Kyle, you shall die!
In but a split second, Earthcall’s arm transforms into a giant stone sword, and he goes at lighting fast speed towards Kyle, and Kyle braces himself for the killing blow, but then he hears a loud whimper.  When he opens his eyes, he gasps in horror, as he sees the stone sword pierced through Lunar.  
Lunar: Kyle…I’m sorry…that I could not…protect you…
Kyle: No!!!!!!!
Earthcall: Hmph, it seems the mutt chose death.
Earthcall then throws Lunar to the ground, and Kyle kneels down to the floor and cries out of sheer desperation and anger.
Kyle: You bastards!
Pyros: Awww, the poor child is crying.  Ha ha ha, how pathetic!  Everyone, kill him!
And in that instant, The Four Spirits unite their energies and the Unborn swarms surround Kyle.  Ventus and Trish and the others are too injured to be of any help, and they try to make their way to the castle ruins, but they can’t.  They managed to slay all the Unborn in Disney Town, but they’re strength is so tapped out and drained, that they cannot make it in time to the castle ruins.  They can only watch in sadness as they see the energies of The Four Spirits from the distance.
Ventus: Kyle…I’ve failed you.
Trish: Please don’t say that.  He will survive, I’m sure of it.
Kairi: Even with my Curaga spells we can’t recover fully. Our injuries are too deep.
They all face the grim truth that there’s nothing they can do.
The Four Spirits and the Unborn swarms strike with all their might against Kyle, and Kyle lets out a scream of suffering and loss, and a huge explosion radiates, making the Unborn swarms disintegrate and The Four Spirits stagger.  When the light dissipates, Kyle stands furious and full of rage, and in his hands, he has…a Keyblade!  The Four Spirits stand in shock at what they are seeing.
Pyros: No, impossible!  How can he have a Keyblade!?
Aquaon: No, it cannot be!
They also notice that Kyle’s voice turns grim and distorted.
Kyle: You bastards killed my best friend Lunar…the only shred of family that I had left, and you took him away from me.  You…are going to pay.  YOU WILL ALL DIE BY MY HAND!!!!
He screams in anger and his eyes turn completely yellow and full of electrical energy, and he starts transforming himself.  His hands give way to claws, and his appearance changes completely, he absorbs Lunar’s powers, and turns into Feral Kyle!  And his Keyblade, which was silver and black, changed color to a grim pitch black color.  The Four Spirits are paralyzed with fear, and Feral Kyle attacks them swiftly and furiously with his most deadly attacks!
Feral Kyle: GO AWAY!!!!  VANISH AND DIE!!!  WITHER AWAY LIKE THE INSECTS YOU ARE!
Earthcall: His power is too immense, we must retreat!
They try to shield themselves, but to no avail, as Feral Kyle gnaws and thrashes and slashes their bodies and armor, making them tremble with greater fear.  
Feral Kyle: DIE!!!!!
He jumps up and swoops his Keyblade down and creates immense shockwaves of darkness.   Ven in the others watch in the distance, but they don’t know that Kyle has been transformed, for they think that The Four Spirits are the ones causing all this chaos.  Feral Kyle then unleashes an incredible attack, in which he raises himself in a stone pillar, sends massive winds, shoots arrows of fire, and sends massive waves of water crashing on The Four Spirits. 
Aquaon: No, no, we cannot die!!!
Pyros: This power…it is too mighty.
Windrayda: No!!!
Earthcall: We are finished… 
Just when The Four Spirits are about to die, The Master suddenly appears and absorbs Feral Kyle’s attack.  Feral Kyle  jumps through the rock pillars he’s created and pounces at The Master, but he simply snaps his finger and sends Feral Kyle plummeting to the ground by Lunar’s side.
The Master: So this is how powerful you truly are.  His heart goes to great proportions when a loved one is taken away from him.  Hmph, foolish boy, the time will come when we shall all die in glorious battle, but it won’t be now.
Feral Kyle: GET BACK HERE!!!!
He jumps towards them, but in a flash, The Master, along with the Four Spirits, disappear. Feral Kyle furiously howls and punches the ground.  Then he goes towards Lunar and whimpers as he sees his dead body bleeding.  He stands up and carries Lunar, and he slowly walks down towards Disney Town.  Ventus and the others are filled with sadness, as they think that Kyle has died, but then they see him coming down with Lunar.
Terra: Look, it’s Kyle! But..oh no…
Aqua: Lunar, he…
Ventus: What? No, Lunar can’t be dead!
Everyone looks down to lament Lunar’s loss.  Feral Kyle growls and looks at them, and he gently sets Lunar’s body aside, and then summons his Keyblade and points I towards them.
Ventus: Huh?  What are you doing???
Sora: Hey, we’re your friends!
Riku: Kyle, it’s us!
Feral Kyle:  Darkness and light…equal powers…but Lunar is dead, and nothing can bring him back!  You are all a part of this!  Die now!  YOU WILL ALL PERISH!!!

Lunar is dead, Kyle finally has the power of the Keyblae, and Disney Castle has been destroyed!  Most of the townspeople have perished, and Kyle, in blind rage and fury, has transformed into his Feral Form!  He might have won the battle, but why is he now turning his blade against his friends?  Brace yourselves for Chapter 37: Feral Kyle’s Rampage…

Hello there everyone, here’s a new chapter!  Sorry for taking so long to post it, but school has kept me busy, and I’m doing a science project with my best friend Jonathan, so I’m not able to write as much.  But I hope you enjoy this new chapter I’ve written.  All right then, keep on reading my fellow and loyal readers! =)

 

Chapter 37: Feral Kyle’s Rampage

 

(Start Song Here)

Ventus charges towards Feral Kyle and braces himself for his attack.  The rest are shocked that Kyle is now after them, and it seems they have no other choice but to fight him.  They summon their Keyblades and charge toward Feral Kyle, but he dodges their attacks and unleashes powerful shockwaves as red as his fury.  They all barely dodge his attack, and they dart and weave around him, trying to stop him however they can.  Vanitas is the only one out of the whole group who seems to be enjoying this, for he’s always felt Kyle as more of a rival than a friend.  The others would probably dismiss him for thinking that way, but he wouldn’t care.  He just wanted the thrill of battle, and now that Kyle is in his Feral Form, it seems Vanitas would get what he wants.

Ventus: Guys, we can’t hurt him!  Remember that Kyle is still in there!

Trish: Don’t worry Ventus, we’ll try our best to save him!

Vanitas: I’ll beat the lights out of him if I have to.  I’ve been aching for a good fight.

Ventus: Vanitas, control yourself, if you get carried away, you might end up killing him!

Riku: Guys, stop talking and dodge!

When they look up, an enormous Thundaga spell crashes down to the earth, and the others are almost caught by it’s enormous blast. Aqua and Kairi cast protective shields on all of their allies, and cast Curaga while the battle rages on.  Leon transforms his blade into Renzokuken, and a brilliant orange glow makes his sword at least eight feet bigger, and Yuffie runs on top of his blade and jumps high in the air and launches her Shuriken at Feral Kyle.  Cid uses his staff to distract Feral Kyle, and Aerith tries to calm Feral Kyle with her Holy spell.  But to no avail, as Feral Kyle simply lashes out and strikes his Keyblade to the ground, causing a wide energy radius to plow through the battlefield.  King Mickey sees more of Disney Town being destroyed, and he looks at the others.

King Mickey: Fellas, we have to lure Kyle out of town, we can’t risk more harm to the town!  Come on!

Dexeres: Right!

Shadow Seeker: Me and Xion will take care of luring him out.  You guys run out of town and prepare yourselves.

And so they quickly run through all the debris, and Shadow Seeker and Xion nod and start attacking Feral Kyle, and they backflip constantly to make him follow them.  Feral Kyle delivers a mighty roar that makes the Shadow Seeker and Xion almost fall down. But they keep their balance.  Unfortunately, Feral Kyle simply swipes his arm at them, and they are flung outside Disney Town.  Then Feral Kyle teleports outside of the town and looks at all the Keyblade Wielders.  King Mickey is relieved that they could at least draw him out of Disney Town.

Queen Minnie: Kyle, please stop this!  Your losing control of yourself!

Feral Kyle: SILENCE!  I SHALL CAST JUDGMENT UPON YOU ALL!!!

Sora: It’s no use!  He’s given in to his darkness!  He’s in a blind rage! 

Donald: Waak!  He’s too scary!

Goofy: Gwarsh fellas, look out!

They see Feral Kyle jump high into the air and deliver a devastating attack that knocks out everyone on the battlefield, except for Vanitas, who is able to resist the blast.

Vanitas: So, looks like it’s just you and me now.  I’ve been looking forward to sparring with you.

Feral Kyle: Ignorant fool, banish from my sight.

Vantias: Oh, so you’re going to be calling me names now?  You know, that reminds me of me back then when I would constantly bicker with Ventus. Ah, memories.

Feral Kyle: Enough of this, die now!

He runs towards Vanitas and starts to drive him back with his Keyblade.  He gets more infuriated as he hears Vanitas laughing at every attack he does.  Vanitas smirks and pushes him back with a single swoop of his Keyblade.

Vanitas: You know, I have to give you credit, you sure know how to use a Keyblade.  Now let’s try something more, shall we?  Now you see me, now you don’t!

And with that, Vanitas jumps high into the air and them plummets himself to the ground and follow Feral Kyle quickly.  And then, just when he’s right under him, he strikes upward, causing Feral Kyle to drop down hard on the ground.

Vanitas: And so I believe that makes brooding and handsome me score one, and ugly messed up thing score zero.  So sad, don’t you think?

Feral Kyle: Ahhhh!!!

Vanitas smiles and pounds him with his powerful attacks, and he casts multiple Firaga spells, making them explode with deadly precision on impact.  Then he teleports multiple times, giving the impression that he made multiple copies of himself.

Vanitas: Now then, let’s see if your senses are good while your in this savage state.  Which one of these is the real me?

Feral Kyle: Die!

He launches an attack at one of the many Vanitas copies, and Vanitas laughs with joyful glee.

Vanitas: Wrong choice my friend.  Wrong choice.

Then from behind, Vanitas commands all his copies to strike continuously at Feral Kyle, and then he delivers the final slash, causing an explosion that causes Feral Kyle to shriek in pain and drop to the ground.  Ventus regains a little of his consciousness and look at the events occurring.

Ventus: Vanitas…don’t kill him…

Vanitas looks at Ventus with the corner of his eye and sighs in disappointment.

(End Song Here)

Vanitas: You never let me have any fun Ven.  You can be such a killjoy.

Vanitas unsummons his Keyblade, and when he turns his attention back to Feral Kyle, he realizes a strange dark light eminating from him.  Then he smirks and folds his arms and closes his eyes.

Vanitas: So Lunar, you’ve come to save the day. 

As the dark light continues eminating from him, Kyle starts to regain his own, normal self.  But his Feral side tries to take over him.  He tries to keep his darkness at bay, and just when all hope seems lost to him, he hears a familiar voice.

(Start Song Here)

Lunar: It’s all right Kyle.  There’s no need to be afraid.

Suddenly, tears form from Kyle’s eyes.

Kyle: Lunar, is that you?

Lunar: Don’t worry, I’m here for you.  Relax, do not give in to despair.

Kyle: Lunar…I failed you.  I put you in harm’s way, and I didn’t do what I could to keep you safe.  You’re the only family I have left.  Please don’t leave me.  Please save me from my darkness!

Lunar: Kyle, I will always be with you.  I will never abandon you.  Besides, you still have much to do, and you have a new family.  Ventus, Trish, and the others are all here for you.  And I’ll always be in your heart, giving you guidance through the toughest of times.  And as for your darkness, don’t think of it as a curse.  Think of it as a blessing.  For your power is more mighty than you could ever know.  The dark light is a rare power that is seldom found in this world, and you are the only one who can posses it.  Your years of research gave fruit to this power.  A power that can be most useful in dark times such as these.

Kyle: But how?  All darkness is evil, all darkness is a pest that needs to be taken care of!

Lunar: No, that is not true.  Not all darkness is evil.  In fact, the world needs darkness.  Without it, there would be no balance, and all would plunge into chaos.  For Light and Darkness are two equal forces that must always be kept in balance.  It’s true that they can’t coexist, but just look at Ventus.  He embraced his darkness, and now it is his ally, and look at Riku.  Riku learned to use his darkness for the greater good.  Your darkness can also be used for the greater good. I have faith in you.

Kyle: I see.  Thank you so much Lunar.

Lunar: Hehe, it’s quite all right.  Well, I must be going now.  The light calls me towards my next life.  Take care Kyle, and may we be able to meet each other again, in the afterlife.

Kyle: Good bye, my old friend.  And thank you, for everything.

As he sees Lunar slowly fade away, Kyle reverts to his normal form completely, and he falls unconscious on the ground.

Lunar has managed to save Kyle, and now he has passed on to the afterlife.  Now Kyle has a new family, and he’ll do all he can to make sure they all make it out of this alive.  What will be next?  What step shall they take in their darkest days?  Find out in Chapter 38: The March Into the Unknown…

Hey everyone, how’s it going?  I’ve got good news!  I was able to write this chapter and post it today!  I hope you all enjoy the chapter!  And make sure to comment on my story, as always.  I’m looking forward to the ending chapters just as much as all of you, my fellow and loyal readers!  I promise you that the final chapters will be the most epic ones of all!  Start the countdown everybody! :3

 

Chapter 38: The March Into the Unknown

Kyle lays unconscious on the ground, motionless, but calm.  As Lunar fades away, his radiant light shines upon the rest of The Keyblade Wielders, healing them and bringing them back to consciousness.  Vanitas looks up to the darkened sky and smirks, giving a nod of appreciation to Lunar.  Then he proceeds to go towards Kyle and help him get on his feet.

Vanitas: Come on sunshine, sleep time is over.

Kyle: V-Vanitas…I’m sorry.

Vanitas: No apology necessary.  I enjoyed battling you, so believe me, you did me a favor.

Kyle: …

They make their way towards the rest of The Keyblade Wielders, and Kyle quickly kneels down and bursts into tears, and looks at each and every one of them.

Kyle: I’m so sorry!  Please forgive me!  I didn’t mean to cause all this destruction!  I didn’t mean to hurt any of you!  I’m so sorry!

Trish: Kyle, it’s okay.  We know that it wasn’t you, we know that it’s not your fault.

Trish embraces Kyle, assuring him that it’s all right, and she gently strokes his hair and rubs his cheeks and gives him a tender smile.  Ventus goes to Trish and Kyle and joins in the embrace. 

Ventus: Don’t worry Kyle.  It’s all right now.  We’re family.  And family sticks together.

Kyle: But…you’d still trust me?  You’d still consider me a friend, after all I did to all of you?

Sora: Hey, everyone makes mistakes!  But that’s what friends are for!  To guide you from the toughest of times and lead you in the right way!

Riku: Never face hardships alone.  If you face hardships, we’ll all face them together.

Everyone nods in agreement and they all comfort Kyle.  Kyle stands up and looks at all of them.  He thinks of all the things they’ve been through together, and all the experiences they’ve shared.  He then remembers Lunar’s words of them being his new family.  He closes his eyes and then clenches his fists, and places his hand on his chest.

Kyle: Everyone.  Thank you.  Thank you for being here for me.  I appreciate it.

(End Song Here)

Everyone smiles and nods.  Then they slowly make their way through the ravaged Disney Town, and find a few survivors that took shelter near the plaza.  King Mickey looks around and folds his arms and sighs.

King Mickey: Gosh fellas, look at this place!  It’ll take forever to make repairs!  And we don’t have much time.  The Master and his group have already made their move, and I expect that it won’t be their last.

Leon: You guys go.  We’ll hold down the fort here and start repairs.

Yuffie: That’s right!  We’ll help the townspeople repair the town!

Aerith: Yes, that is correct.

Cid: And besides, if anyone come attacking us again, I’ve got my trusty airship to hold them off.  So just go on and keep the enemy at bay!

Queen Minnie: They’re right Mickey.  And I’ll also do my best to assist them.

King Mickey: Thank you so much my friends.  And thank you Minnie.

Queen Minnie:  Take care Mickey, and please come back safe and sound!

King Mickey: You can count on it!  All right then fellas, let’s go!

And so, King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Dexeres, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Vanitas, Trish, Kyle, The Shadow Seeker and Xion leave  Disney Town through a portal, and they make their way towards The Master and his subordinates.  But the question is, where could they even be?  That’s a question they all had on their minds, one that they were determined to find the answer to.

Dexeres: So, where could The Master and Xylek and the others be?  I’m pretty sure they must have some kind of stronghold.

Ventus: They do actually.  Me and Trish had gone to their stronghold to rescue Kyle.  That’s our best bet.

Shadow Seeker: Yes, and I had been there many times, but since now our enemy knows that we seek them, they must have probably moved elsewhere.  Or maybe the whole stronghold itself is an illusion, and the real one is concealed deep within the confines of darkness.

Xion: What makes you say that?

Shadow Seeker:  Because of Illushiouhus.  Remember that he’s the Master of Illusions.  For all we know, he could have just as easily made that castle as an illusion so that we couldn’t trace the real thing.  Remember that the enemy is always clever, and always a step ahead.

Riku: I think that you’re right.  I don’t sense any of them, or any strong aura for that matter.

Donald: So where would we head to?

Goofy: I guess we’ll just have to keep searching until we find them!

King Mickey: Gosh, this is a tough thing to think about.  But we’ll find them…somehow.  There has to be a  way!

Terra: Hmm, maybe we should ask Kyle?

Aqua: What do you mean?

Kyle: I think I know where Terra is getting at.  I think what he means is that I can use my power of the dark light  to lead the way.

Terra: Precisely.

Kyle: Okay, I’ll do my best.

Kyle goes in front of them and closes his eyes, and the dark light’s aura eminates from him, and a beam of light appears and points straight to the horizon. 

Ventus: Good work Kyle!

Sora: Well, at least now we know where we’re headed!

Everyone nods in determination, and King Mickey looks toward the horizon, a gleam of hope and of courage in his eyes, ready to take on whatever is at the end of that light.

King Mickey: We’re coming for you Xylek!  And this war will finally end!

Meanwhile, in The Master’s stronghold, The Mysterious Figure stands quiet and pensive upon a tower.  His gaze shifts to the horizon, and his mind is filled with many thoughts.  Then suddenly, Illushiouhus appears behind him, and then stands by his side.

Illushiouhus: A beautiful night, isn’t it?

Mysterious Figure: Yes.  It’s a calm night.  Then again, this is the calm before the storm.

Illushiouhus: Indeed.  The final battle is nigh.  All the pieces have been set, and Kingdom Hearts is practically within our grasp.

Mysterious Figure: Yes…

Illushiouhus: Hmmm, you know, I seem to detect remorse in your voice.  Is there perhaps something that you’re now regretting?

Mysterious Figure: It matters not.  The end is nearly approaching.  So there’s no point in regretting over things that can no longer be changed.

Illushiouhus puts his hand on The Mysterious Figure’s shoulder, and surprisingly, he talks to him in an understanding tone.

Illushiouhus: It’s never too late to do what’s right.

Mysterious Figure: …You mean to say you’ve been thinking of  this as well?

Illushiouhus: I don’t really give concern over things like that, but it’s just a bit of advice.

Mysterious Figure: Never too late…

They both gaze up to the sky and see the countless stars showering upon the night sky.  They find peace in that moment, a peace that though brief, is relaxing.

In the meantime, inside The Master’s throne room, Xylek bows down before The Master, and he then folds his arms and closes his eyes.

Xylek: The time is almost upon us.  Sora and the others are already on their way here.  But we are already prepared for whatever comes.

The Master: Ah yes.  The glorious clash of light and darkness if finally upon us.  Kingdom Hearts shall rain it’s mighty power over us, and we shall cleanse all worlds, and rule them all.

Xylek: Yes.  All the pieces are placed, and all the parts are ready to be played.  But one question.  Do you think those Four Spirits will be able to fulfill our purpose?

The Master: They are expendable.  I don’t care what happens to them.  But they will be of great use in the battle to come.

Xylek: And what of our other comrades?

The Master: Make sure they have already left when Sora and the others come.  For we need to make this plan work to perfection.

Xylek: Are you saying that only Illushiouhus, The Mysterious Figure, The Four Spirits, yourself and I will be the ones to take care of our foes?

The Master: Precisely.  We cannot waste all of our comrades on these fools.  They must go and carry on the task of ensuring that our mission survives in the case that we should fail.

Xylek: I understand.  Then I shall tell them at once.

Xylek leaves the throne room and The Master chuckles to himself, who knows what thoughts are on his mind. Thunder crackles in the distance, and dark clouds gather ever more, foreshadowing events that will change the course of destiny forever.  The end approaches, and everyone is ready for the final battle.

There is no telling what will happen next.  The forces of light and darkness are almost on the verge of one final clash, and the fate of all worlds is at stake.  Will our heroes be able to find the enemy and defeat them once and for all?  What shall occur?  Stay tuned for Chapter 39: Riku And The Comforting Voice…

Hey everyone, here’s another chapter!  Sorry for the long wait, but as usual, school keeps me very busy.  I thank you all for your patience and support!  Now then, without any further delay, here is Chapter 39!
 
Chapter 39: Riku And The Comforting Voice
 
Everyone is silent, as they all prepare to face what will likely be their doom.  Everything has been leading up to this.  All the trials and obstacles the Keyblade Wielders have had to overcome have made them that much stronger, and now they are determined to face even the most vile darkness in order to bring peace to all worlds and to end the Keyblade War.  Riku closes his eyes and feels calm.  He knows what’s at stake, and he knows how much he and his friends have sacrificed to protect the worlds from plunging into eternal despair.  As Riku drifts off into his thoughts, when he opens his eyes, he realizes that his friends aren’t anywhere to be seen.  At first he thinks that maybe the enemy has found them and split them up, but then he realizes that he hasn’t been separated from his friends.  Rather, he has entered a dream.  He looks around him, and then he sees her.  The Young Woman whom he had seen before, the voice that led him through the darkness.  She smiles gently at him, and she goes towards him and takes his hand.

Young Woman: It’s all right.  You are here with me.  You’ll be able to feel at peace, at least for a few moments.  Come, let’s walk together.
Riku: Hey…thanks for last time.  I appreciated your help, and that kiss we had…I never forgot about it. You’ve been on my mind every day.
He touches her face gently and he closes in on her.  She smiles and moans softly, letting him get closer.  In that instant, Riku embraces her and kisses her with great passion.  They both give in to each other’s warmth and keep kissing each other. They want the kiss to last longer, but they know that their time is limited.  She pulls away gently and touches his face.
Young Woman: You’ve been through so much Riku.  You’ve been through so many trials, and yet you’ve managed to master the darkness within you.  Something that is almost impossible for most beings.
Riku: Yeah.  It’s been one heck of an experience.  Me and Sora and the others have been through a lot. But having each other’s backs has always given us all the push to keep going forward.  By the way, what’s your name?
Young Woman: Oh, that’s right!  I had promised to give you my name on our next date.  Hehe, and seeing as how this is our  date, then I’ll tell you my name.  I am Dawn.
Riku: Hmm, Dawn.  You sure have a calm and serene name.
Dawn: Thank you.  Now then, there is one last message I must give you before the final battle begins.
Riku: And what would that be?
Dawn: You must all steel yourselves, for the coming battles shall be difficult, and the enemy is prepared for you.  They will unleash all their force upon you.  But remember that you have the Anthrax Meteor Shard, and it’s activation will turn the tide, of that I’m sure.
Riku: But how will I know when to activate it?
Dawn: When the time is right, when you are in your darkest hour, it shall awaken.
Riku: I see.  Say Dawn, can I ask you something?
Dawn: Of course.
Riku: After all this is over, would you come with me?
Dawn: You mean, to be with you?
Riku: Yes.
Dawn: Riku…I’ve wanted to be with you, but I am trapped in the Omega Sanctum.  This is the only way that I can be able to communicate with you.  I wish I could be free, so we could be together…
Tears roll down her cheeks, and she looks down.  She feels scared and alone, but Riku hugs her tight, and she can feel his body warm her heart.
Riku: I’ll find you.  I promise you that I will.  I don’t care what it takes, I swear that I will find you.
Dawn: Do you mean that?
Riku: Of course I do!  I need to find you, I know that we’ve still just met, but I can’t be without you!
At that, Dawn touches his face, and her tears give way to a gentle, heartwarming smile.  She nods and then turns around to look at the distance.
Dawn: Then, I will be here.  And I will wait for you.
Riku: Will we see each other again?
Dawn: Yes.  As long as you have me in your mind and in your heart, I will always be able to contact you.  
Riku: All right then.  Until then, Dawn.  We’ll see each other soon.
Dawn: I’ll be looking forward to it.
She smiles and gives him a good bye kiss then waves farewell.  Riku smiles and closes his eyes, and when he opens them, Dawn is no longer there.  He touches his heart and smiles and thinks to himself: “We’ll see each other real soon, Dawn.”  Then he goes back to his friends.

While the others talk and prepare themselves for battle, Dexeres stands apart from all of them, and drifts into his thoughts.  He has nowhere left to go, so after all of this is over, he wonders, where would he go?  His thoughts are cut short when he feels someone behind him.
Dexeres: Oh, it’s you Vanitas…
Vanitas: I saw you walk away from the others.  Usually I’m the loner, but you aren’t that kind of a person, so I came to check up on you.
Dexeres: Hmph, so, you actually care?
Vanitas: Don’t get the wrong idea buster, I’m still a lone wolf, and don’t read to deep into this.  I just wanted to check up on you and see how your holding up.
Dexeres: Everything’s okay.  I was just…thinking.
Vanitas: About?
Dexeres: About what happens after all this is over.  I guess that I’ll just wander here and there, wander in The Lanes Between, perhaps forever.  I don’t have a home to get back to, I don’t have a family to take care of, I don’t have anything left.
Vanitas: Oh come on, your getting way over your head.  You do realize that you do have a family?  Back there, all those goofballs and ingrates?  They’ve come to accept you as family, and I’m pretty sure about that.  You say you don’t have a home to return to, and yet you already have a new home, with all of us.  You belong here, with all of us.
Dexeres: Really?  You all consider me as family?
Vanitas: Good grief, why is it that sentimental types are the slowest people in the world to get the damn picture?  Yes, we consider you as family.  Now stop being such a depressed little ingrate and come over here with us.
Dexeres: Hmph…you know, you actually made me feel better.  Thanks Vanitas.
Vanitas: Don’t mention it. Sheesh, these days it looks like I’ve become the damn psychiatrist of this group of crazy people.  Ahh, but it feels good to be appreciated.
They go towards their friends, and everyone smiles and greets them.
King Mickey: Well fellas, we’re almost there.  We’ve been expecting this day to come for a long time now.  We have to be on our toes.  Remember that we’re going to be in The Master’s stronghold, and he’s expecting us to arrive, so be prepared for the worst.
Terra: Don’t worry Your Majesty, whatever comes our way, we’ll take care of it.
Goofy: Gwarsh, at least we all have each other.  Don’t worry guys, we’ll be able to make it through this!
Donald: Waak!  That’s right!
Sora: Guys!  We’re here.
Everyone looks towards the distance, and the portal opens up to a dark and grim place, and the ominous aura is immediately felt.  Sora and the rest step out of the portal and then it closes behind them.  They look at their surroundings, and they seem to be in a barren wasteland, and the surface is smooth, almost as if it were a moon like substance.  They search around, with their Keyblades drawn, and they scout the terrain.  The Master’s fortress is nowhere to be seen.
Shadow Seeker: Just as I thought.  The fortress has disappeared.  It could be anywhere.
Aqua: Shhh, listen!  I hear something.
They all stay quiet, and they hear faint maniacal laughter in the distance.  And then all of a sudden, Bob and Hector appear a few feet away from them and surprise the Keyblade Wielders.
Hector: Ah, it seems our guests have finally arrived!  This shall be a splendid finale, won’t it Bob?
Bob: Oh yes my dear Hector, it shall be a splendid finale indeed!
They laugh manically and the landscape suddenly changes and distorts into a strange lab like room.  The Keyblade Wielders prepare themselves, as the battle with Bob and Hector begins!
 
And so, our heroes have entered The Master’s domain, but his fortress is nowhere to be seen!  Could Bob and Hector know it’s whereabouts?  Find out in Chapter 40:  Bob and Hector, The Maniacal Minions, A Thrilling Battle…

Well guys, the Final Battle is almost upon us, and so I hope you’re all prepared to witness the final 10 chapters of my story!  I hope you’ve all enjoyed it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it!  I promise that I’ll give you all an ending that you’ll love!  Well then, without any more delays, ladies and gentlemen, here is Chapter 40!
 
Chapter 40: Bob and Hector, The Maniacal Minions, A Thrilling Battle

Bob and Hector dart around the room and laugh maniacally, as if toying with the minds of The Keyblade Wielders.  How they managed to distort the landscape into a lab is a mystery, but The Keyblade Wielders have no time to ponder on the thought.  They dodge Bob and Hector’s attacks, and Riku takes position along with Dexeres and they start shooting arrows of darkness and light.  Bob and Hector surprisingly dodge most of the arrows, proving that even though they look clumsy, they are quite nimble and agile.  They attack Riku and Dexeres and then try to stun everyone else.  Sora and the others dodge and step back, and Riku lunges forward towards Bob and Hector.
Riku: We’re tired of your little tricks!  This ends now!
Bob: Oh, but the fun has just begun!
Hector: Indeed! It wouldn’t be wrong for you to play along!
Dexeres: Riku, look out!
Riku looks up, and he sees the ceiling of the lab crack, and he is barely able to dodge the giant pile of debris.  Sora and the others attack, but Bob and Hector prove the faster ones against them.  Kairi and Aqua and Xion send flying magical projectiles to them, but they dodge and laugh maniacally.  Donald and Goofy try to attack them, but Bob and Hector knock them down before they are even able to attack.  The Shadow Seeker and King Mickey try to trap them, but Bob and Hector easily ensnare them in their own trap. Terra tries his Zantetsuken technique on them, but when he finishes doing his attack, they are on the other side of the room.
Hector: It’s no use to resist!  We are going to defeat you!
Bob: Accept The Master as your supreme ruler, and you may be spared!
Hector: Although we don’t make any promises!  Hehehe!
Terra: Don’t count on it!  Ven, now!
Before Bob and Hector are able to react, Ventus and Vanitas launch Trish like a spear, and Trish gives Kyle a boost of speed and throws him towards the two minions, and he manages to knock them down.  The Keyblade Wielders keep themselves on their toes, making sure to be ready for any other traps that might be surrounding them.  As they rally together, Bob and Hector stand up, a little dazed, but recover quickly and dash towards them.
Hector: You might have caught us that time, but your no match for us!
Bob: Mowahaha!  Indeed Hector, let’s show these fools our true strength! 
Instead of attacking, they stop the Keyblade Wielders with their Bind spell, and they start absorbing all the components of the lab like room, and they unite, and in a flash of light, they morph into one, and what the Keyblade Wielders see before their very eyes is a Gargoyle with mechanized arms and legs and wings.  Everyone is shocked, and they try to break free of the Bind spell, but to no avail.  Then, they hear Bob and Hector’s voices in one, bone chilling distorted voice.
Gargoyle:  You were wrong to underestimate us.  Now you fools will learn not to meddle in our plans!  The Master will take Kingdom Hearts, and reshape the world in his own image!  It shall be the glorious dawn of the new world!
Riku: No, not while we can stop you!  You forget that we’re still alive!
Gargoyle: What can you hope to do?  You can’t even move!
Riku: Oh you’ll see.  Dexeres, now!
Gargoyle: What!?
And all of a sudden, Dexeres appears behind the Gargoyle and strikes him with his Keyblade.  The Gargoyle flails and shrieks in pain and turns his attention towards Dexeres.
Gargoyle: Impossible!  How could you escape my spell!?
Dexeres: Hmph, nothing to it.  I just got some help.
He smirks and he summons Berserker Nobodies to free the Keyblade Wielders and fight alongside them.  The Gargoyle furiously tackles Dexeres and swipes him with his claws, but Dexeres simply blocks his attacks and strikes back with his Twilight Swipe attack.
Dexeres: All right guys, now, strike now!
He jumps back, and everyone casts Blizzaga on the Gargoyle and freezes it completely.  But to no avail, as the Gargoyle simply thaws himself out of his cold prison, and he relentlessly attacks the Berserker Nobodies.
Sora: Guys, he’s too strong!  We need to defeat him!
Donald: Look out!
Now everyone desperately dodges as the Gargoyle attacks with intense speed.  Terra and Aqua dodge while observing the Gargoyle’s movements, and they suddenly come up with an idea.
Terra: Aqua, are you thinking what I’m thinking?
Aqua: Yeah, let’s go for it!
In perfect synchronization, Terra and Aqua gracefully leap above the Gargoyle and start attacking from both sides.  They dart and weave carefully and aim for the mechanized arms and legs, and they sever the cables connecting the components, and they quickly improvise.
Terra: Aqua, now!
Aqua: Right!
Aqua leaps back and casts Blizzaga on the electrical circuits keeping the mechanized arms and legs attached, and Terra cuts off the arms and legs with his Zantetsuken attack.  The Gargoyle roars in pain and falls to the ground.  Then Terra cuts off the Gargoyle’s wings to make sure that he doesn’t intend to escape.
Gargoyle: No!  This cannot be!  We have been overpowered!
Sora: That’s right!  You can’t defeat us!
(End Song Here)
The Gargoyle simply shrivels and squirms in pain, and the lab starts morphing back into the barren wasteland that the Keyblade Wielders had arrived to in the first place.  When they look back, they see that Bob and Hector have reverted back to normal.  They lay on the ground, weak and scarred.  Sora and Riku go towards them and point their Keyblades at them.
Riku: Tell us where The Master’s fortress is.  You’ve been defeated.
Bob: Never!  You’ll never get us to tell you!
Hector: We won’t yield to the likes of you!
Sora: Just accept that you’ve lost already, and tell us where The Master is!
Hector: Never!  Mowahahahahaha!!!!
Sora and Riku step back, as Bob and Hector slowly rise and start fading before their very eyes.  Even in death, they seem to do nothing more than just laugh maniacally.
Bob: Well, it looks like our time has come!
Hector: Indeed, the first part of this finale was a success!  We may have lost, but it was indeed a thrilling battle!
Bob:  Quiet so my dear Hector!  And so then, foolish Keyblade Wielders, we bid you a final farewell!  Mowahahahahahahaha!!!!
They laugh maniacally and fade away completely.
Xion: At least we’ve won this battle.
Shadow Seeker: Yes, but we must be prepared, for more battles are to come.
Riku: Right, we have to be ready for anything.
And suddenly, Riku’s Keyblade flashes, and Gilgamesh appears before them.
Riku: Gilgamesh, what is it?  Do you sense something?
Gilgamesh: Indeed that I do!  I sense a powerful aura, no doubt a warrior with a great deal of weapons!  I shall lead the way!
Sora: Maybe it’s The Master and his allies!
Riku: All right then, show us the way.
And with that, Gilgamesh goes in front of everyone else, and leads them into the vast wilderness.  What awaits for them, is yet to be seen.
 
Bob and Hector have been defeated, and The Keyblade Wielders now continue to march forward to end The Master’s plans of conquest.  What will happen next?  Will they be able to survive long enough to find The Master and his allies?  Find out in Chapter 41: The Final Battle-Part 1 of 10: Windrayda, Lord of the Winds…

And so ladies and gentlemen, we have now arrived to the climax of my story The Keyblade War!  Prepare yourself for these final ten chapters, and witness the finale unfold before your very eyes!  I hope you all enjoy reading it, and remember to comment when you finish reading!  Enjoy!!! 
 
Chapter 41: The Final Battle-Part 1 of 10: Windrayda, Lord Of The Winds
 
Gilgamesh leads the party into the wilderness, and everyone is on high alert, for they know that they are in the enemy’s domain, and anything can happen at any time.  The Keyblade Wielders already faced their first ordeal in the form of Bob and Hector, who caused much havoc and almost outwitted our heroes.  After surviving the battle, the party now marches towards The Master’s lair, wherever it may be.  Gilgamesh suddenly stops the party and checks the surroundings.
Gilgamesh: Hmm, strange, it seems that the presence that I felt has vanished.
Riku: What?  How can that be?
Gilgamesh: I don’t know.  It’s like the presence just vanished into thin air.  Uh oh, but now I feel a different presence…and it’s coming this way!
Sora: Guys, look, up ahead!
The party looks towards the horizon and they see giant tornadoes form in the distance, and suddenly a howling wind blows in their direction.  At first they think that it’s the weather condition of this world, but then they see who’s causing the powerful winds…Windrayda!  He makes his way to the party and floats a few feet above them.  He looks at them and suddenly starts bellowing with laughter.
Windrayda: Ha, so, you’ve actually managed to defeat those buffoons Bob and Hector, eh?  Those fools were not even worthy of fighting you.  But I, on the other hand, will be your rival in combat!
Dexeres:  Uh huh, right.  We’re just going to defeat you and keep on going to stop The Master!
Windrayda: Ah, so you think you can defeat me?  How pitiful.  Then test your strength against me, if you dare!
Windrayda then summons powerful gusts of wind that blow the party away, and then he makes a barrier so that no one can pass, leaving him and Dexeres locked one on one in combat.  
Riku: No!  Gilgamesh, do you think that you can go through the barrier?
Gilgamesh: Indeed I can!  I shall assist our fellow ally!
Gilgamesh then immediately disappears and reappears alongside Dexeres, and he summons his mighty sword, Excalibur!  Windrayda at first growls with anger, but then he simply looks at them and smirks.
Windrayda: Fine, I shall defeat both of you in seconds!
(Start Song)
Windrayda then suddenly disappears and then the gusts of wind form into wind blades that start to strike at Dexeres and Gilgamesh.  They dodge the attacks and try to pinpoint where Windrayda is.  They can certainly feel his presence, but his power is so much that they can’t get a lock on him.  Windrayda mockingly laughs at them, and he mocks the rest of The Keyblade Wielders, who can’t do anything to stop them.  All they can do is hope that Dexeres and Gilgamesh survive the battle.
Kyle: Damn, I just wish I could be able to break through the barrier.
Ventus: I know…but we can’t.  We just have to place our hopes on Dexeres and Gilgamesh, and hope that they make it out of this fight.
Windrayda then suddenly appears behind Dexeres and Gilgamesh, and he swipes them with his arm and crushes them to the ground with a powerful wind pillar.  Dexeres manages to crawl his way out and he strikes Windrayda, but his attacks aren’t effective, because Windrayda simply dissolves into air.  Gilgamesh lunges towards Windrayda and casts his Thundara spell, and surprisingly, he manages to wound him.
Windrayda: Ahhh!!!  Impudent fools!!!!
Dexeres: You won’t last for long!
Windrayda: Ha, that’s what you think!
Windrayda then propels himself skyward and grabs Dexeres and Gilgamesh along with him, and he tries to suffocate them.  But Dexeres quickly summons Samurai Nobodies to dispatch the Lord of the Winds.   His strategy works, as Windrayda flinches and lets his grip go, and he releases them.  Gilgamesh then uses his Rocket Punch attack and manages to crack a part of Windrayda’s armor.  
Gilgamesh: Jackpot!
Dexeres: Good work Gilgamesh!
Windrayda: You ignorant imbeciles, what does it take to get rid of you!?
In a split second, Dexeres and Gilgamesh are swept off their feet and stricken to the ground multiple times.  Windrayda laughs maniacally as he crushes them and blasts them with strong wind blades.  The Samurai Nobodies try to stop him, but they are quickly eliminated.
Sora: No!  They’re getting pummeled in there!
King Mickey: There has to be a way for them to win, there just has to!
As Dexeres slowly gets on his feet, an idea occurs to him.  He thinks to himself: “Windrayda is Lord of the Winds, and every time we try to strike him, he simply dissolves into air.  So it stands to reason, that the most effective ways to take him out are with Thunder and…hmmm.  I know, Fire!  Fire can crystallize him!”  And almost as if on cue, Gilgamesh shouts out to him.
Gilgamesh: Dexeres, I’ll cast my Thundara spell, and you make sure to heat him up!
Dexeres: Exactly what I was thinking!
Windrayda doesn’t seem amused, and he keeps warding them off with powerful gusts of wind, and then he summons a tornado to impale them even more.  Gilgamesh and Dexeres lose their footing on the ground and are eventually sucked into the tornado.
Goofy: Whoah!  They got sucked in!
Inside the tornado, Gilgamesh seems to be enjoying the breeze, while Dexeres tries to make his way towards him.  He gets irritated by the fact that Gilgamesh seems to be so calm.
Dexeres: Hey, aren’t you going to try and get out of the tornado?
Gilgamesh: I thought you’d never ask my friend. Guess what time it is?
Dexeres: Huh?
Gilgamesh: It’s Gilgamesh Morphing Time!
And with those words, Gilgamesh sprouts six more arms and he summons six more Excaliburs.  Dexeres then smirks and does a backflip and he starts shooting twilight spears around the tornado, causing it to turn from a grey color to a dark purple color.  On the outside, Windrayda looks surprised, and he takes a few steps back.
Windrayda: Impossible!  No one can withstand my powerful Tornado!
A few seconds pass, and then the tornado cracks open and Dexeres and Gilgamesh shoot themselves out of the tornado with lightning fast speed.
Dexeres: Gilgamesh, now!
Gilgamesh: Yes sir!
Quickly, Gilgamesh casts his Thundara spell on Windrayda, and he temporarily stuns him, and then Dexeres stands in front of Windrayda.
Dexeres: It seems that the game’s over for you.
Windrayda: Never!
Dexeres: We’ll see about that.
He smirks and starts teleporting multiple times around him, and Windrayda furiously wipes his arms and tries to cast him away with Aeroga, but Dexeres simply laughs and then stands face to face with him.
Dexeres: Time to heat things up.
Windrayda: What!? No!!!
Immediately, Dexeres casts Firaga, and he crystallizes Windrayda.  Then he signals Gilgamesh to finish him off.
Dexeres: This is your shot now!
Gilgamesh: Yes!  The moment we’ve all been waiting for!  It’s time for my Strongest Sword to cleanse this filth!  
He readies his weapons, and he does his Ultimate Illusion attack on Windrayda, and he shatters him completely, leaving no trace of him.  Then the barrier dissipates, and the tornados die out.

Donald: You’ve done it!
Xion: Thank goodness.
Trish: You did good!
Dexeres: Gilgamesh, thanks for the help.
Gilgamesh: No problem!
Everyone celebrates their victory, and then they keep marching towards The Master’s lair.
 
Meanwhile, farther away from where the Keyblade Wielders are, Illushiouhus stands careful watch on a cliff.  He saw the events that just occurred, and now he knows things are about to get even more intense.  Then the Mysterious Figure appears behind him and walks towards him.
Mysterious Figure: So, Windrayda has been slain.  They’ve managed quite well.
Illushiouhus: It’s only a matter of time now.  They will face their greatest perils soon.
Mysterious Figure: Until then, we shall be waiting.
Illushiouhus: Indeed…
Mysterious Figure: Hey, are you okay?  I know that you are quite stricken by the deaths of Bob and Hector, but you knew what was at stake. They risked their lives to defend our cause.
Illushiouhus: …And what good will that yield, I wonder?
Mysterious Figure: That is something we don’t know the answer to.  At least not yet…
They turn around and then go through a dark portal and disappear.
 
Windrayda has been defeated, and now things are getting even more intense as the Final Battle rages on!  Are our heroes getting closer to The Master’s lair?  What more will happen?  Stay tuned for Chapter 42: The Final Battle-Part 2 of 10: Aquaon, Rage Of The Sea…
