Dissidia Final Fantasy : Chaos Wins

Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Zack and the others walked into the sanctury.

'Why am I here? didn't I do?... Atleast i thought I died...' Zack thought to himself confused, the sanctuary was a very large spring with strange lightbeams around, in the middle, there sat a yong woman, looking to be in her twenties, she had long blonde hair, and whore a white dress, she was beautiful. Zack looekd to her, as did the others.

"Good for you all to come, I am Cosmos." she said, some of them already knew whom she was was and then bowed they're heads, Zack quickly did the same.

'What's going on...?' Zack thought in his mind.

"Cosmos...whats the matter?" Zidane says walking to her "Is...Chaos..." Zidane said seeing her nod slowly.

"I called you all here, so you can defeat Chaos once again, but I must warn you...he is more powerful than before." Cosmos says.

"He has obtained a large amount of power, there is one enrgy left, it is called the Ultima. It's power keeps the universe together, if chaos obtains it he might be able to create, rule or destroy the universe." She says.

everyone looked at her as shocked as they probably could be.

"C..Cosmos are you sure?" Zidane asked.

Cosmos nodded.

"You all must collect a power orb, she says they are from people you have encountered in the past time here. you all need to collect these orbs and absorb them to gain strength" She said, looking to the Warrior of light.

Zidane looked at the Warrior of light, he nooded gently at Cosmos then walked away.

"Go now your quest shall start." She says disserepering.

Zidane walks to Zack, "hey lets work together" Zidane says holding a hand out to Zack.

Zack looked to Zidane.

"Sure, I could always use help." He said, Zidane nodded. he then thought about what she said.

'Orbs... how would we get them?' he thought to himself. He looked to Cosmos.

"Go now, before Chaos gains the upper hand with his soldiers." Seh said, Zack thought to himself.

"Chaos has people working for him?" HE thought to himself, then sighed, he looked to Zidane.

"Alright, let's go." He said, they started moving, Zack stopped for the moment.

"One thing." He said, he started doing squats like crazy, he finally stopped.

"Alright, i'm good now." HE sia,d they walked out of the sanctuary.

Balthier walks in and observes his fellow warriors.

"At least we are not short handed." He thinks to himself.

He moves off by himself and pulls out an odd device give to him not long ago. It had been called a 'phone.' It had been modified to work across worlds. He sends a text:

-Have arrived. Will keep you up dated.-

Balthier puts away his phone and moves towards the group.

Snow Villiers walks in to the sanctuary. Immediatley he tried to make friends.

 

"Well hi, how's it going?"

"Sup?"

"You a Hero too?"

 

but nobody paid any attention to the 6'7" man. Some rich looking guy was busy with his cell phone,

 

"Man, what a party we're having here," Snow said to himself. "Well, if it's my job to save the world, than what am I waiting for? Since when have heroes needed plans?"

 

Jumping up, without listening to Cosmos' speech, Snow ran from the Sanctuary. But by the time he reached the far borders, he stopped to think about whether or not it was a smart idea to go it alone.

 

"HEY, YOU!" he heard.

 

Standing behind him was Hope.

 

"Hey, Hope, you're here too?" Snow said, giving the boy an affectionate noogie.

 

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?" Hope shouted.

 

"Take it easy kiddo!" said Snow naively. "Just stick with me."

 

Snow turned to walk away, but heard something in the air.

 

"STEELGUARD!" he shouted, and the boomerang bounce off his back ineffectively.

 

Snow turned around to see what had happened, but Hope had dissappeared in a flash of light.

 

"Dang, maybe I'd better find some help for that kid," he said, and ran back towards the Sanctuary.

Balthier watched Snow as he left.

"Big, strong. Thinks he's a hero." Balthier thinks to himself about Snow. "Could be useful."

Balthier walks to the exit of the sanctuary and nearly bums into Snow as comes back in.

"Why in such a hurry?" Balthier asks Snow in a clam, even voice.

Snow's look of unease quickly fades into a smile as he looks at the new arrival.

 

"I'm Snow Villiers, l'cie abominaltion and hero of NORA! And you are?"

 

"The name's Balthier. Why such a hustle?" he replies.

 

"Well, ya see, there's this kid, Hope, who I'm friends with. He seemed jumpy, and I thought he attacked me. He dissappeared before I could question him though," Snow said.

 

"Hmm, jumpy and aggressive, sounds like the recipe for a Chaos goon."

 

"Nah, the kid's as nice as an flight attendent. I'm sure something was just bothering him. But just in case, do you wanna come with me and find him?" Snow inquired.

 

Balthier smirked and nodded his head, and the two headed off towards the Crystal Tower.

 

(I'm still new to Roleplays, and a rule said not to control other's characters. Is what I did okay; not much involved, but a necessary conversation?)

Johnny entered Sanctuary and approached Cosmos. He looked around at all the heroes, but he specifically noticed Arus, commonly known as the Warrior of Light.

 

"Hey, what's up?" Johnny asked.

"Do I know you?" the Warrior replied.

Johnny chuckled for a second and replied, "Apparently not." Johnny recalled the rules of the conflict, no warrior could remember a past conflict after purification.

 

Johnny then looked at Cosmos, "I thought you promised to leave me out of this war after we finished."

Cosmos turned away, "I'm sorry, there was nothing I could..."

Johnny interrupted, "Don't apologize, I'm sure you just really needed my help." He pulled out a small shining sword. "Thought that the crystal could help." Cosmos nodded and Johnny turned away toward Sanctuary's exit.

On top of a mountain, watching Johnny leave, Hope Estheim banged his fist on the side of the mountain.

 

"IT'S NOT FAIR!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.

 

Below, Johnny startled, glanced around, but then continued walking.

 

Hope hid behind a rock.

 

'That guy looks tough, and I hear he can use the Keyblade. The "weapon of hearts" as that guy in the white robe said. Was his name Prmarch or something?' Hope thought to himself. 'Maybe I could use that against Snow. I could trick that boy into breaking his heart, and make him feel pain. The same pain I feel about Mom, I'll make him feel about Serah!'

 

To set his plan in motion, all Hope had to do was fall of the mountain, which he did. When Johnny ran over, Hope cried out in pain and wove a tale about how "Hero Snow Villiers" pushed him off the mountain.

 

"He's a traitor!" Hope cried out to Johnny.

Lightning had spent the time of Cosmos' speech hidden behind one of the spires that littered Sanctuary. She had no interest in Cosmos or Chaos, but it seemed she had no choice. If she wanted to save Serah, she would have to find this "orb". And to do that...

 

She gave out a small chuckle. Cosmos hadn't said what to do. It was then that she saw the tall man in the trenchcoat. He was so... familiar. Lightning grabbed her head, pain splitting her down the middle. Did she know him? She couldn't remember much. She had met Sazh, fought Anima, and then...

 

By the time she came around, most of the warriors had left. "Heh, fine. Let's get this done." With that, Lightning made her way out of Sanctuary, following whatever whims came by.

Zidane and Zack walked out of the sanctuary, they had no idea where to go, but anything was better then hanging out there.

"So you've been here before?" Zack aske dwalking casually, zidane nodded.

"Intresting I guess, so you should no all about this place then." He said, Zidane shrugged, they kept walking until the reached a river.

"Hm... which way?" Zack asked, suddenly he heard something, a strange man whom looked like cloud appeared, his outine was all crystal like, (Aka, a manakin) It jumped towards Zack, whi summond his busterblade and blocked.

"What is this thing?"

"Three l'Cie. Simply... marvelous." The man stood atop Castle Pandemonium, a small bird roosting on his staff. Galenth Dysley moved to the vacant throne, crystals jutting out of the floor around him. The castle seemed vacant; apparently Mateus had not been summoned this cycle. At least, not yet.

 

Chaos had left his minions with very simple instructions: stop Cosmos and collect Ultima. But what if this "Ultima" were to fall into different hands? Better hands...

 

Barthandalus stewed over these thoughts as he sat in the throne. As a fal'Cie, he had jurisdiction over these l'Cie pawns, whether they be Cosmos or Chaos. He suddenly remembered: the l'Cie boy was working for Chaos. This could most definitely work for his advantage...

 

He sat alone with Minrva, a large grin covering his face. This would be his war...

Snow and Balthier reached the Crystal Tower. Just as they arrived, time seemed to freeze for all but Snow.

 

Snow said, "Hey, buddy, you alright? What happened?"

 

Just then, he noticed a fiure standing on the Crystal Tower. No, it was two figures. His beloved Serah and Hope?

 

"Serah, Hope, I'll catch you!" he shouted.

 

Just then, Thunder struck Snow's two friends. Both fell, and Snow dove to catch both of them. But just as they were about to hit the ground, they shattered into crystal.

 

"NOOO!" Snow screamed.

 

"You should have caught them, Hero," a cold female voice said.

 

Whipping around, Snow saw Lightning standing against tower, playing with electicity in her hands.

 

"You didn't!" Snow gasped. "Sis, how could you?"

 

"I told you, I'm not your sister!" Lightning shouted back, and stepped into a dark portal.

 

"NOOO!" Snow shouted as he dove at the portal, but he was too late. He banged his head on the wall of the tower.

 

Bathier sprang back to life and walked over to Snow.

Standing outside the wall, Lightning morphed into Barthandelus. He laughed at the mischief he had caused. And pondered to himself if he had successfully helped Hope's plot to label Snow as a traitor before returning to his own schemes (and Ansem the Wise's control )

Lightning stood at Dream's End, staring at the city in the distance. "It's Zanarkand." A boy named Tidus had told her as he passed by. It was completely unfamiliar, but it felt so familiar. Kind of like... home...

 

It was the that she felt a presence behind her. She spun around, a figure that seemed to be made of crystal standing before her, weapon drawn. IT looked like a younger girl with a staff. 'Manakins.' Lightning drew her sword, the blade unfolding before her. 'That's not the Blazefire Saber!' This was a different weapon; a more powerful weapon. Perhaps a gift from Cosmos? Either way, it was th weapon she would use to defend herself. Lightning leapt at the creature, the manakin raising its arms. In a flash, a large crystal beast stood between them, flames pouring out of its mouth. "Is that... Ifrit?!"

 

Lightning took a step back before entering the fray. If she could just... yes! Her blade easily sliced through the beast, cutting into the manakin. It shattered, crystal fragments falling around her feet. 'Not a very strong opponent...' But there was no time for reflecting. She spun around, swiping her blade through a projectile that almost took her from behind.

 

Lightning charged, tackling the manakin. She raised her blade, stopping when she looked into its eyes. Another familiar face, this time of a young boy. She knew him somehow. The manakin summoned a crystal boomerang, knocking Lightning off of it. She reached forward. "Ruinga!" A shere of black magic shot from her fingers, obliterating the manakin. She pulled herself up, checking around her. No more manakins. Good.

 

Who was that? And why was she seeing so many unknown-yet-familiar faces?

Riza satted on her chair. Chaos satted on the tallest chair. "Cosmos has decided to get some heros to help him...how pathetic. He is as weak as in to copy and get a small army of his own."Chaos says. Riza looked down at the shpere that showed all of the heros and what they were doing right now. "These are newbies. I think we can take them,can't we master?"Riza asks. Chaos didn't looked at her. "These are nothing but bugs. Now all we need to do is squash them. But I am pretty sure all of you will be able to do that,right?"Chaos asks. The people there agreed. Riza looked back down. "Those heros will learn the true power of the darkness."Riza says. Letting out a somewhat evil chuckle after she said that.

Hope had dissappeared by the time Johnny had returned with water for the boy to drink...

Hope sat alone in Dream's End.

 

"Why can't I remember anything but grief!" Hope cried in distress. That Snow was going to pay. As long as that Keyblade bearer believed me...

 

The wind shifted, and Hope jumped up and drew his boomberang, Airwing. A Manakin had appeared in the shape of a strange looking girl. It looked like it was carrying a rod of some sorts, and it skipped as it walked to him.

 

"What do you require, Master?" It spoke in a jarbled voice but had a distinct Australian accent.

 

"Argh!" Hope cried as he destroyed it with one fatal throw of Airwing. Something about that voice was familiar. It made him want to smile; it almost made him happy. It was a voice that should never be used in that destructive tone.

 

"I'm going to destroy anyone who gets in my way!" Hope said. "I just need more courage!"

 

That's when he saw a Survival Knife lying abandoned on the ground. He picked it up.

 

Some things in life, you just do.

 

Hope started. That voice in his head, it was so familiar. He pocketed the knife and journeyed on.

Balthier suddenly realizes that he saw the young woman who had attack Snow at the Citadel. He nods to where the woman disappeared.

"If that's your sister, you have greater family problems than I do. I thought she was on our side."

Snow rubbed his head.

 

"She's not actually my sister, but hopefully my future sister-in-law. She's always had problems with me, but after we saved Cocoon, after we saved, Serah."

 

Snow stopped for a moment to catch his breath.

 

"I don't know what's gotten into her. She had to go off on her own, dissappear on us, and now she's a traitor! Just, give me a moment."

 

Snow sat down on the ground and closed his eyes to think.

 

"That cannot be the answer. Light wouldn't do that. Serah's her sister, and Hope's one of her best friends. My head hurts!" said Snow as he fell to the ground.

 

"Hey, 'Leading Man'," Snow said while panting, "you point your gun in a direction and I'll follow you. Maybe I'll start thinking straight after some rest. Go on, lead."

Zack got out of the way of the blade, and slashed towards the manikan, he got a hit, and it broke into pieces, he breathed.

"Sheesh, what the hell are these things?" He asked, another came and he slashed towars it, after a moment they were all dead. Zack's sword dissipeared. He looekd at Zidane.

"you alright?" HE asked.

Hope was walking through Castle Pandamonium when he froze in his tracks. Laying on the floor in front of him was something shiny. Before he picked it up, he caught a gimpse of a bow lying discarded on the floor. Thinking wisely, Hope tossed Airwing at it. Sure enough, the light exploded. Hope had been a safe distance from the explosion, but his boomerang had taken severe damage.

 

"Great, it looks like that Emperor guy has rigged this place with traps," Hope groaned. "Now Airwing's almost useless too. I'll have to tread carefully to get to the throne room."

 

Hope stealthily snuck through the rest of the castle, disabling traps with spells as he went. He knew that he was ruining his ally's trap, but something inside him told him that it was the right thing to do. For some reason, Hope realized that he was surprisingly calm, but was dreading seeing the Primarch. Why should he be; they were allies after all.

 

He finally came upon the door to the throne room, but it was guarded by a Manakin Snow. Fire seized his senses as Hope drew out the knife. The Manakin took a defensive position, but Hope shouted "Aeroga!" and it was thrown into the air. In the vortex of wind, the Manakin shattered to pieces.

 

"I guess I don't know my own strength," said Hope.

 

He couldn't figure out why he felt so compelled to destroy these manakins. 'It must be my anger at Snow that's making me irrational,' the boy thought. 'Maybe once Operation Nora if complete, I'll feel at peace.'

 

With hope in his heart, he pushed open the doors to the throne room. His meeting with Barthandelus had come.

Hope entered the throne room, a girl sitting at the far end. She smiled as he entered, her green eyes shining through her soft red hair.

 

'Now is not the time to reveal myself fully.' Barthandalus thought to himself.

 

"Hope! You came back!" She shouted, excitement exploding out of very word. Her accent rang through Hope's head. It was the same as that manakin...

 

"You're..." The name wouldn't come to Hope, but the memories were surfacing. They were still blurry, but she was definitely in them. She leapt out of the seat, embracing Hope. The touch was so welcoming.

 

"I just knew you wouldn't leave me!" Her expression became more relaxed, even a little distressed. "You're still trying to kill Snow, aren't you..."

 

"Of course!" Hope exploded back. The hatred didn't allow him to hold back. Even to her. "He..." The words fell short. Operation NORA. Did she know the real reason? Before he could reason with her, she interrupted.

 

"I saw Snow. He's going after Lightning!" She seemed worried, distress played out across her face. "He's started to turn on us! You have to do something!"

"Great! Who needs that Keyblade Wielder when he's..." Hope faltered.

 

'This girl, does she think I'm on Cosmos' side? We're enemies, but I can't bring myself to kill her.' he thought.

 

"Wait! That's perfect! Now we have an excuse to kill the 'Hero.' That traitor! I came for the Emperor, but he's worse!" Hope preached. 'It's a good idea to pretend I'm with Cosmos right now anyway,' he thought to himself.

 

The girl smiled and laughed. "Let's go then! Let's show that brute what we're made of!"

 

Hope began to walk, but then turned to the girl.

 

"Who is Lightning?"

 

The girl smiled. "Just his fiancee, let's go!" And she ran up behind him pushing him forward.

 

As Hope allowed the girl to guide him, he brushed the Survival Knife in his pocket.

 

If you don't talk to him now you're gonna regret it.

 

He heard her voice; the accent was obvious. For some reason his memory didn't fit with reality. That girl he remembered didn't seem the type to push him into battle, but now she was...

Balthier is about to say something when he feels his phone buzz. He takes out the phone and sees he has a text. The text reads:

-Excellent. Have made little progress, but am still hopeful.-

"You'd be hopeful as the Universe collapses around you." Balthier thinks angrily as he puts the phone back in his pocket.

He looks over at Snow.

"Let's first check on Lightning. We need to make sure she is a traitor or simple is mad at you."

Balthier looks back to where Lightning appeared, then to the Citadel, then back again.

"Best start back at the Citadel. See if she left with someone, or if she went out alone."

The men returned to the Crystal Tower. Snow began patrolling the wall where he saw Lightning vanish.

 

"Strange," he said aloud. "She only has two footprints from where she was standing. Let me just check the hardness of the ground."

 

Snow began to jump up and down, and what looked like a crystal tear fell out of his pocket and landed at Balthier's feet.

 

"Serah!" Snow shouted and reached for the tear.
