Kaiso 2,764 Posted June 3, 2011 It's awesome that they're re-releasing The Lion King on Blu-Ray, but unless you're a new family with young kids it's NOT really worth it to go see this in theaters... o3o I don't know the prices of movies where others live, but where I am it's ridiculously over-priced just to see a normal movie, and there is a significant difference in the price of the 3D movies which 90% of the time aren't worth seeing in 3D at all. I love The Lion King and it will be one of my favorite childhood movies, but I will not go and see it in theaters after the many times I've seen it. I would rather go see the new Pooh Bear movie coming out this year. c:

FlipMode 141 Posted June 14, 2011 I haz the VHS and DVD version, I will prolly pick up the Blu Ray one as well just because it is a classic film but yeah. Its only for 2 weeks, in September, after that they are releasing all 3 Lion King films in one big expensive box set, or the original film on Blu Ray / 3D Blu Ray... Thats my understanding of it anyway, they seem to be very vague about this film for some reason, but it sounds like they are doing the same jig with this as they did with Toy Story...
