keystrike 145 Posted May 28, 2011 When talking about the reincarnation of xehanort, you have to mention the reincarnation of others of organization xiii, and because Sora will not save Lea, we know he is going to come back, and if Lea comes back, they better have Isa. It may be kh3d, or kh3, but they are going to return without a doubt. Saix/Isas role in the series so far has been pretty average. On my list of importance of main characters he would fall dead center. In days all he was an emotionless blue haired, objective focused character who treated everyone inferior including his best friend which was all likely due to the darkness (I will go more into this later). Perhaps like Riku in kh1, he focused far too much on a single goal that ultimately goaded him into the darkness. In Riku's case, it was kari; he wanted to wake her up so badly he was willing to use the powers of darkness to their fullest extent. For Saix, it was a heart; his final words were "where is my heart?" and in his plan to go higher up he directs the murder of vexen (a parallel for Riku of this might be kidnapping pinochio), and he throws away his best friend. The final connection between Riku and Saix is that it was ultimately xehanort who lead them into the darkness. In case you haven't put this together. Saix has gold eyes, braig does too, and the reason he does is because of xehanort. I get the feeling that these seeds in the sense of those whose eyes got changed is more so of a contract that Saix is bond to; in the way that it actually changes him or her to willing to give up to the darkness. I think I explained that bad, but anyway on to what will happen in that future game If, by being a seed, Isa is still bond to xehanort when he returns, Isa will now be the Riku of kh com. Trying to redeem himself, but bond to the darkness. To let Isa merely return and become friends with Lea again, would be pretty anticlimatic for x-face here. Whatever the game may be, I would hope for some interaction between him and Riku. They bear many similarities, and it would make for an interesting cutscene. Maybe before the final Riku fight in days Riku fought Saix. Saix was sent to fetch Roxas after all. So what do you guys think?
KingofH3ART 12 Posted May 28, 2011 I understand, but also I would love for the Organization members that died in Castle Oblivion to come back just to add confusion to Sora and the gang because they don't remember what went down in the castle. This concept will add about three more hours of playing time. And have a nostalgia effect. 1 aaron.ventus011 reacted to this
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 28, 2011 While I don't fully agree with Isa being a "seed" of Xehanort, I do agree with your idea of what Isa's role should be in future KH games. I'm hoping that's what is going to happen with him.
Destati_Dream_XIII 91 Posted May 28, 2011 I really, really, REALLY want Isa to come back SOMEHOW. Because honestly, if he doesn't then his appearance in BbS will seem sort of...well.....useless... Especially since BbS showed the nicer side of him, they obviously wanted us to realize how best of friends he and Lea used to be. And I don't think they would've bothered to add that much background story if they weren't bringing him back. I would also love to see most of the other members come back as well. KingofH3ART made some very good points about that. I must add though, that bringing many of them (if not all) will also allow for a chance to give ALMOST EVERY CHARACTER a happy ending.....I know that will probably never happen, but the Organization's purpose in CoM and II just didn't seem bad enough to have them thrown into oblivion for all eternity.... (I would be more than happy to explain with more detail about everything I just said in this paragraph, if requested of me.)
TheKHTheorist 17 Posted May 29, 2011 I don't think that the eyes necisarily are a contract between Xehanort and the others. If it is some sort of contract, I'm more inclined to believe that the contract is between the person and the darkness itself that is triggered by some sort of exposure to the darkness. Braig's eyes turned yellow after he was shot with darkness in the fight with Terra. Xehanort's eyes probably turned when he stopped wearing his armor while traveling in the lanes between. Isa might have change when Radient Garden fell, but that's still speculative. Whatever darkness that Isa encountered could account for that scar on his face as well considering simmilar scars were left on Braig. As for his role in future games, he might be a good guy, he might be somewhere in the middle, or he could be one of Xehanort's accomplises. He's definently a good point to consider. Although, I'm not sure that in the future he would get enough time to actually get the amount of growth needed to pull of some sort of redeption. Being able to understand why Axel abandoned their friendship and forgive him for it.
Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted June 1, 2011 I believe Isa will return and join the "good side", sense his overall mission would be accomplished (he would have a heart). Then again, there is the tremendous amount of loyalty he has towards Xehanort/Xemnas, which could conflict Isa's roles. But I think his original personality will come through, and he will be a good guy in the end.
