Website Banner.

Hey members!

I'm sure that you are all enjoying the new site.

YET i'm sure that you have all seen that old banner at the top

We never thought that this would be perminant, and are currently looking for a replacement for it

 

So, im wondering would anyone like to make one:blush:

The dimensions needs to 900px (width) x 150px (height)

 

 

But remember the blue tab area will still be there. So it might obstruct some of the image.

Anyway it would be great if you post your banners here.THANKS!

 

Ps. You know when you rollover the "home" or the "Games" tab on the header there is an underline, i don't like it much, but DChiuch does.

So were leaving the decision to you. Please vote in the poll.

Just to add, yes, if you make a banner than it will be obstructed by the blue section. This is 50px high and around 600px long. Also, keep in mind that the search box will also be in the way.

 

If you plan on submitting a banner, then please follow these guidelines:

- 900px * 150px

- A blue theme

- Have a focus somewhere on the left, and keep the rest of the banner some kind of continuing background-- we don't want the focus to be above the menu

Also, if you don't want to spend the time making a banner, then that's fine too. Just tell us what you think the new one should be like!

any particular theme you have in mind besides just blue? like, any specific character?

Nah, it's not important. Just make sure that the color fits in well with the rest of the site (which is why I'm thinking blue), and that it isn't too "busy" above the menu.

 

Also, if you plan on making one, then could you submit the Photoshop file as well? You know, in case we wanna change it a little bit.

 

We'll probably add you to the staff as a "Graphics Designer" or something if we like your work.

I have a good source of KH images and Photoshop CS3. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-confuse.png Just a note though, how do you send a Photoshop file? ^^; I can post the URL of the banner here when I make it, but I don't know how to send Photoshop files...

You can send it through email. That's probably the easiest way.

That's okay, the file size doesn't matter. I can always make it smaller after I receive it. Although I don't see how you could get a 900 * 150 above 10MB...

Hmm..I don't really mind the underline,but personally I just think it doesn't look as nice as it would be without the underline.
