How was your first experience for all the KH games?

What was your first thought when playing the KH game? Did you like it? Could you just not stop playing it? (Me )

kh1: Well, I started in second grade (holy crap that was a long time ago) and i got to darkside, and accidently defeated it (I thought that you had to survive for a while, and it would eventually go to the next cutscene). Then I did the whole destiny island thing for the first two days, but on the last day, i got scared of the shadows (it took me about 3 days to figure out that I had to go to Riku) I finally got to darkside, but i got scared again, so i had my dad beat it. Then I got to traverse town, and after a couple of weeks trying to figure out where the "leader" was, I couldn't beat it. DX So I quit. It wasn't until three years later that I picked it up again, and I loved it. Then quit the series again once i beat it, then joined up again a year ago...

 

com:I got this after I played kh2, and honestly, at first I didn't see the point of it. I got to olympus coliseum, (My third world) then quit because I couldn't beat Hades...Then played it again, and I got stuck on Oogie Boogie...after I got re:com, I managed to do both sora's and riku's stories all the way through, though.

 

re:com: I got this game thinking that it would be easier than com, and though it greatly frustrated me, I managed to beat both stories. I liked it, though I thought that the lip-syncing was horrible -_-'

 

kh2: This was the first game that I played almost every day, I used to get up at 6 (I was in elementary school, so this was early) and play it. I was kinda stupid back then, though, and I was completely lost for half the game... I'm like, "Omg it's Riku!! Wait, no, it's the pirate guy...omg it's Riku! no, it's ansem...i mean what's-his-face's heartless...no, it's actually riku!" "Um, axel? What the hell did you just do that for!? Wow, you killed yourself because of your ego"

 

358/2 days: well, it took me 12 days to beat it, but here's what went on when I was playing it:

"Roxas, why? WHY? Why do I have to kill a madbull with a stick? Out of all things, it has to be a stick...A toy sword would be better!"

While a couple of characters party in wonderland, i go into Twitown for mission. *looks at target:unknown*

"Well, there are a couple good places for bosses. I'll start with the station plaza."

*Beats boss and looks at mission gauge which isn't even close to halfway done*

*Beats up another boss then runs to mansion*

*Looks at the healthbars of chameleon-thingy*

"Oh, yeah, this is great. It'll be easy. I mean, it only has like EIGHTEEN healthbars." (And I'm not joking) Oh, and when I was done, the mission gauge was HALFWAY full.

To put it simply, I loved the storyline and graphics, but the gameplay...o_o omfg.

KH1: it took me a few weeks to get past the 2nd darkside, then going through two moren darksides on new games to try and defeat deep jungle, failed. has a break for about a month then played it again and got the whole way through

 

CoM: i only actually got this a few months ago, forgot about it, and found it in around june. then i played it to mad (selling all my 0 cards along the way :-/) and gave up for a little while because i couldn't beat the last rikus dark firagas. i still haven't picked it up yet...

 

RE:CoM: doesn't exist in PAl so it's rever been played by me

 

KHII: Played it all the way through, stumbled a bit on xaldin, but abseloutely loved it

For the first KH I couldn't stop playing

I got it while I was going over to my grandparents placed, so all I did with my cousin was play.

 

He was actually better than me when we played it, it pissed me off So hmph, but I got use to it after awhile.

I loved it alot! And fell inlove with the characters hahah

For the second KH, i couldn't stop playing it either. But I was rather disappointed on how short it was.

I played the games backwards sooo I played 2 first and I was like..."Ughs, can't understand anything! but this game is sooo fun! *plays 4 hours a day*"

 

Then I played CoM on GBA. I tried to do Sora's story but i couldn't figure out the card system. So i put it down and then like a year or so later (2008) and picked it up and tried Riku's story (since it was my friends copy, the old data was still on it so i didn't have to beat Sora's story to get Riku's) It took me a couple of weeks to beat it and it was pretty fun:)

 

And for KH1, my bro and i put some munny together and bought a used copy and i started playing it once i beat CoM. idk how long it too me to beat it but it was super fun!

 

so to rap it all up, The series was super fun:D

kh1: I got when it first came out and quit on destiny islands cus I couldnt figure it out (I suked) then after I played COM I played it again and already knew ALL THE WORLDS BUT ITS ACTUALLY MY 3RD FAVORITE:D

COM: first one I played all the way through and I liked it despite the graphics I tought they were good for the game boy

ReCOM: My fav! out of all of them I got to see Larxene and Zexion in true 3d (instead of just a diary entry >_>)

I played it in this order:

 

KH CoM:*Ahh so sick of the card system. Switches to Pokemon*

 

KH2:*Goes to Hollow Bastion*. "Who is this kook?" and I was ROFL but then I got killed almost 3 times!!! (That's on Easy)

 

KH1:I only played a little bit in my friends house,but I found it fun~ (it was Japanese!!!)

KH358/2 Days: I hate those investigation missions!!!

I actually got KHII first, but I'll do them in chronological order.

 

KH: I thought it was cool how you could play on Destiny Islands in the beginning; but it was only a few months after "discovering" KH and I had only beat KHII just recently. I played this game the day I got back from my holiday in Canada, because it had arrived when I was there as a late birthday present.

I couldn't find the mushrooms at first. ._. And I sucked, so I got stuck a LOT. I believe I was stuck on Cerberus for a while and didn't know what else to do. When I finally beat him I played the game a lot, and got stuck on Riku in Hollow Bastion. I then found out how I can win at bosses with a special very weird strategy. I eventually beat the game.

 

KHFM: I played this yesterday... I wanted it because I'd feel weird with KHIIFM+ and not KHFM. D: It's awesome. I'm only near the start of Hollow Bastion though.

 

KH: CoM: CoM was another present that arrived the day before I left on holiday. Unfortunately I didn't get to play it much. The card system was hard but once I found my own strategy it was easy; though I had to get my brother to help me at point before I became better than him. I also got stuck on Hades, TT Vexen and two Riku Replicas. I found it different from KHII, but still a lot of fun. :] And the graphics were amazing.

 

KH Re: CoM: The Japanese version wasn't so bad - I've had it since last year but only completed it recently. I found Xehanort's Heartless really hard and then beat him really easily. o_o

The US version was a nightmare to get. I had to buy a swapmagic, then the game wouldn't arrive for a few days... I'm still on Sora's Story; haven't completed it yet.

 

KHII: The first in the series I ever played. After 3 hours into the game on Christmas Day 2006 (with my brother and his friend watching), Roxas's story was over and I thought the game had finished. SO I half-joked, "that's it? That's the worst game ever!" And at the very beginning and they had lost their ______, I thought it was a stupid guessing game or something for little kids (even after watching the intro...) until I started fighting. When I started playing as Sora I played the game for another seven hours that day, almost non stop. :]

I got stuck on Demyx; I had never equipped keyblades or abilities (I thought they equipped themselves), so I could not beat him. I gave up for months, almost forgetting the game. My brother beat him for me (he had trouble even after equipping stuff) and I eventually won the game. And I still have my old files; even my very first one, never to be edited. :]

Kingdom Hearts II has the most memories for me.

 

KHIIFM+: Completed it but I haven't done all the extras... I got the game for that reason and KHFM. I bought a Japanese PS2 for them and still have it since it's so pretty and white, even though I have a swapmagic so I don't use it now.

I've beaten Sephiroth, Terra (after much difficulty... this was beginner mode... sigh) and most of the Org datas, and beat an Org Mushroom to get Ultima. And I'm trying to beat a Critical Mode game to get the long secret ending. So I've "beaten" the game, but not done much else.

KHCON never played it due to me not owning a GBA but i watched part of it untill i larned that COM is going to be relases on the PS2 [happy dance]

 

KH2 to tell you the truth i didet het stuck anywere but i hade some slowdowns at all over the orgy 13 battles and the last fight was a b@#$% but over all ezer then the frist [ hope that 3 is harder] i wasted about 90 hours on this one

 

KHCOMre.... TO EZEY but when you get up to the last few orgy battles and the last riku fight its like ultru hard [exepet for vexen.... for some resone i found him ezey... just got to roll at the right time] and i actully put down the game at the Marluxia battle but a few weeks later i got him... the riku part was ezey untill the final battle

overrall about 40 hours

 

DAYS.... not going to play because i dont own a DS but i might get one on the 25 of DEC

up til then il just watch the walk toughrs on the intrenet

I really wanted to play it so I tried playing it when my brother was still in school or when he just wasn't there (I have mad ninja skillz, yesh. >8D -shot-) He caught after a while, so I forgot all about KH...

 

Until I turned 14 last year in April.

My brother had already abandoned the PS2 and everything related to that, and I thought, "If he won't give me a birthday present that he'll actually buy, then he can give me his PS2 and all his games..."

Including KH.

 

I first started with KH2. (My brother stupidly lost KH when he was in high school and only had KH2 at the moment.)

I was extremely confused when I first played it.

I was like..."Where's Sora o.O??" "Who's all these other characters?" Bla, bla, bla.

But I played it anyway and eventually beat it. (By playing it non-stop. Oh, ho, ho. My mom thought I was going crazy in my room. e__e)

Since I got some birthday money from friends and family and from my parents, I decided to buy KH and KH:Re CoM. (30$ for KH:Re CoM...10$ for used KH >.>)

After I finished KH2, I played KH:Re CoM.

And, boy, was that an ass.

I could NOT beat Repliku or Vexen. I literally tried fighting them over 20 times. Die, die, die...one after another, after another...

I didn't give up though, LMAO.

I FINALLY beat both of them, and eventually beat Sora's story.

When I played Riku's story...

I had so much effin fun.

I loved it. It was challenging yet not TOO hard either. The card system was better to handle.

Then, last but not least, I played KH.

LOL I found it sort of stupid that Re: CoM cot 30 freakin bucks while the first KH cost me 10 bucks. I HAD the first KH but my brother took it to school for some reason and left his backpack in the restroom so by the time he came back, everything was gone (there were also other games).

Too Be honest my first thought on Kingdom Hearts was stupid Final Fantasy Characters paired with Disney Characters I thought it was The...wait scratch that its a World in the first game-sigh- anyway I couldn't fully play th Kingom Hearts games till I was out of high school in 2007 I got my PS2 as a Grad gift and lol I'm very bad at keeping money and save it I always spend it I woulda had a PS2 at the year 2003 lol. Anyway here are my experience thus far.

 

Chain of Memories(Original) I wanted to get this when I was slowly becoming a fan of the series and got this in 2004 Christmas Day I was really good in the Card System and understood it immediately and I became a fan of the series sense then, Funny Becoming a fan of the series in the middle of the Sora/Roxas Time Line.

 

Kingdom Hearts 2

I got this near the ending of Summer of 2007 I beat it in two weaks or so the only thing that bugs me with this title was their was so much freakin cutscenes and less gameplay I rarely play this game only if I decide to do a KH Marathon. Yea I don't like KH2 THAT MUCH

 

Kingdom Hearts 1

Again I got to play this during near the end of the summer or during the middle I can't remember which was which lol, I first played this at a friends house nearby mine, we play the Yu-Gi-Oh card game and my mentor in Guitar Hero. -_-It probably took me 2 or 3 hours to get those god forsaken fish at Destiny Islands, but after that I had gotten the game myself on the weakend of that same weak I enjoy it but-_-I so hate the Riku/Xehanorts Heartless Battle the Solo One that takes me forever sometimes.

 

Re Chain of Memories

This is the game I have been dying to get one of the Final Mix games finnaly other then Japan Exclusive I got this the weekend it came out on Gamestop I even got the Pre Order Items without even pre ordering it-_- Unless My dad had pre ordered it but I did enjoy it in the end even better then the original game and much easier to play then the GBA.

This game will hold a special place in my heart and memories. I got this on my 21 Birthday on October 7th I swear-_-Just like Zack's Death and Aerith's Death the whole thing with Xion and Roxas without giving out too much spoils even after watching the cutscenes thanks to DChiuch with the walkthroughs-_-When they were on youtube I swear even watching them I still started to burst a tear when I was playin it myself oh the irony. oh well I am sure we will I will like Birth By Sleep but I like Days better then them all so far its one of the games that has most of the gameplay and you learn a lot of the organization members personalities a lot more,
