KHDays Xion in KH3/Next Game! SHE HAS TO BE!

We all know that Xion is from 358/2 Days, correct? But after her

death

, I was like, well she still has to be in the next game. SHE HAS TO BE! It wouldn't make sense for her not to. She has to appear in the next game. Honestly, if she was very important in 358/2 Days and then just disappeared later, don't you think it would be a waste of a character. I don't care if 358/2 Days was explaining only about Roxas' and Xion's 358 days in the Organization together, and that they only needed to explain about Xion, one game for Xion isn't enough. And that's is what I think the link for 358/2 Days to the next game will be something about Xion (remember Nomura talking in one of his interviews, and he said that all three games, Birth By Sleep, 358/2 Days, and coded are connected to the next game).

i don't think so she merged with roxas and roxas got her keyblade, so she cant come back. she couldn't come back in coded because that's the data world their in.

Ummm actually, in one of Nomura's latest interviews, he said that there is going to be a "next game". We aren't sure if Nomura was confusing us with some new game or if it really is KH3, which I doubt it is. That is why I put a slash. I never said anything that there will be a KH3 because I have no freakin clue. I don't know why you guys say that there will not be a KH3. It is not like he cancel the game lol. Well how about "Important KH Project" because there is going to be a game for sure, but we have no details, regardless if it is KH3 or the "next game" or whatever.

begin anyway? It would be nice to see the answer to that I'm not sure what the next project Nomura has in mind but I think it is too ealry to discuss since we know nothing about it, but it would be nice to see Xion or flashbacks of her and whatnot, but I doubt it. You never know..

Waste of character?

 

Characters that have a big heart wrenching death and leave a mark on a main character are not a waste, but a huge development in the story and a big part of the story, no matter how long they were there.

 

They may or may not have her in another game, because she has served her purpose.

I vote they should seriously have her in another game. I already adore Xion, mostly because she's kinda a kick-a** version of Namine, who I absolutely love, and she's part of the Organization. That in and of itself gets her extra points.

Awww, come on. Xion was awesome. I know Xion did her purpose but something tells me that she might have another purpose...later on. I know she can't be technically dead (I hope not >_>). I think Xion lives in Sora's head, lol.

 

And you are basiclly telling me that 358/2 Days it fills a gap because of Xion. But Xion won't affect anything in the later games, unless Nomura wants to go tricking us like always :dodgy: And besides,

Roxas and Riku forget her, along with everyone else, so really her purpose was kind of useless. I say, PUT XION IN THE NEXT GAME!!!! THUMBS UP FOR XION, THUMBS DOWN FOR ATLANTICA, lol.

I'm just trying to say that she wasn't pointless, she had a large purpose.

 

Just because she was forgotten doesn't mean she didn't influence the characters--Roxas still went to find Sora, didn't he? He kept his promise to stop Xemnas

Hmm. I also would like to see Xion in the next game, but I sort of doubt it (let the flames begin >8D/shot).

I mean, they made Kh2 and never, EVER, mentioned anything about Xion.

And then, 358/2 days comes along and Poof, we have a strange, mysterious girl named Xion coming out of the blue.

Sure, Roxas forgets what happens in his past, but he also starts to remember everything.

...Why didn't he remember Xion o.O?

I sort of think they just put Xion as an extra character or something.

After I have suceeded in not reading what anyone else wrote except for the first post of the thread, I have come up with my totally thought out answer for the thread question:

Sure, she may get a reference that no one will understand.

I mean, I haven't played the game...or spoiled myself to a point where I know exactly everything that happens (I only got up to "Xion is a [removed for spoilers] blah blah blah" ), but didn't everyone who knew about Xion DIE??

And then Roxas and Riku forgot her completely, yes?

So along the lines of "no one even knows who she is", I doubt she'll get any role in KH3 apart from maybe something symbolizing her or something.

You know, how Nomura uses symbols to make references to FF characters that aren't even in the game??

They might do something like put a symbol for Xion in the game somewhere and Sora sees it and says "Hmm....I don't know why, but this reminds me of someone...". Roxas might have gotten his memories back about Xion and Roxas is in Sora so it makes sense....

 

If they let us play as Riku(which would be awesome!), The when he sees it, he'll say "This brings back memories..." or something along those lines.

 

Haven't played 358/2 Days yet so I wouldn't know how Riku felt about her...
