Shion 18 Posted October 9, 2011 358/2 Days is the only Kingdom Hearts game I have (I don't have a PS2, so...). Xion is by far my favorite character and it has all of my favorite characters in it. And in Mission Mode I OWN Heartless with Xion and Axel in particular- not to mention it's fun watching Xemnas float around and I enjoy Zexion beating Heartless up with a book. In short... without Days, I wouldn't be on this site. Xion, Roxas and Axel are the ones who've made me love Kingdom Hearts, not Sora.
Snow 1,800 Posted October 9, 2011 Aside from terrible graphics, yeah. Roxas is always epic.
Leaxel 178 Posted October 9, 2011 Aside from terrible graphics, yeah. Lol what did you expect from a DS?
Snow 1,800 Posted October 9, 2011 Nothing, really. But we got something, apparently.
hatok 6,413 Posted October 10, 2011 Maybe Nomura should made the PS2 or PSP remake.... Unfortunately, Nomura doesn't have the necessary skills to make a game. But I've got another ida. He could go to Square Enix, and ask them if they can put together a development team for remaking the game.
earth_angel 73 Posted October 12, 2011 You know, it was a good game. It just wasn't a great game compared to other KH titles. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 DAYS HAD THE BEST STORY LINE OUT OF ALL OF THEM SO FAR!! THE GAME GAVE YOU TIME TO WARM UP TO THE CHARACTERS AND SEE THERE FRIENDSHIP GROW THEN GETS CRUSHED IN THE END! A VERY VERY SAD ENDING. PS. IF A GAME DOESN'T LEAVE YOU IN A DEPRESS STATE, THEN ITS NOT A GOOD GAME.. You left your caps lock on...
LightningXIII 310 Posted May 5, 2012 This was my first KH game, and I actually REALLY loved it! It isn't the best game in the KH series, but it's not bad. Personally, I really enjoyed it, and I would love a remake!
AverageGoddess 163 Posted May 6, 2012 ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE KH GAMES!
The One Truth 48 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) It's not a bad game, it's decently good but the missions are really tedious at times. Edited May 7, 2012 by The One Truth
Xail 113 Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) re:coded came two years later and only the gameplay was better. coded was basically kh1- a few worlds. compared to coded's coliseum the missions weren't repetitive at all. Edited May 10, 2012 by Roxas-FTW
JailXun 27 Posted May 12, 2012 The story was vital for the understanding of what was going on in the organization. But they should have made it for a console.
dawida 0 Posted May 31, 2012 Useful information shared..I am very pleased to read this fourm. Thanks for giving us nice info. Fantastic walk-through. I appreciate this writing.
Xenidal 36 Posted May 31, 2012 It was more than decent, story-wise. One of my favourites. However, the fact that you complete a mission, then RTC, then repeat that over and over again was not as enjoyable as being able to freely go from world to world like in the other games. Still, it makes sense that you can only go to the world that your mission takes place at since you are in the Organisation and should only go where instructed to. However, the whole way the game was done felt a little forced and awkward. There were things put in there to block you from going into unnecessary areas... but there was no reason for them to have done that (going into the unnecessary areas would simply have been a waste of time for the player and he probably wouldn't have wanted to go there anyway...) And then the whole "you can only RTC once you complete the mission" doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The darkness portal thing is not some "machine" programmed to only appear when someone completes a mission... this is even contradicted by showing other Organisation members able to freely create portals whenever they felt like it / needed to. Xalaru 445 Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) I absolutely love this game. It was the first KH game I owned (I'd played KH1 a few years previously at my friend's house, then saw this on the shelves and thought the name sounded familiar, then I remembered why and bought it immediately). Besides, it's the story of Roxas, and he's not in much of any of the other games (if at all in some of them), and my favourite character is Axel/Lea so this is awesome. I enjoyed the storyline even though it took quite a while to get going, even if the graphics on the system weren't the best. It would probably be my joint-favourite game (alongside KH2 and possibly BBS) if it were made on a home console like PS2 (well, PS3 would be more appropriate now), though. truex-blade 6 Posted May 31, 2012 I enjoyed playing it and I liked how the story went the only thing I didn't like was how you level up
xionroxasaxel 20 Posted May 31, 2012 When I first saw the commercial for it, I only got it because I saw Tinker Bell. At the time, I was having a major obsession over her, and so I got it. I didn't know anything about Sora, Roxas, Xion, or Axel. So, when I first played the game, I was totally confused. Who is Organization XIII? Where is Tinker Bell? Once I began to understand the story and look up the whole story to Kingdom Hearts, I began to understand it. *SPOILER* I cried when Xion went back to Sora and I am hoping for more releases of the game on the DS, not the 3DS! Dang it!
Setrex 1,031 Posted June 1, 2012 I had real fun with this game and have loads of hours played on it as well, (currently pulling away at trying to unlock Sora ) but I must admit that a few of the missions were rather tedious and some are nearly impossible to 100% all the way through without running around the world like a headless chicken
NamineRose 28 Posted June 2, 2012 It gave us an insight into the dynamic of Roxas and Axel's friendship, set up part of the plot for future games, and awnsered questions from KH2. I am gonna say it was amazing.
Novarin 2 Posted June 8, 2012 It was my first KH game and I liked it. Sure it got repetitive, but it did have a good plot.
