Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 5, 2011 Over the past couple of weeks I've been thinking of a lot of multiplayer ideas for future Kingdom Hearts games. A lot of my ideas came from Call of Duty and the Ratchet and clank series (don't worry I won't say anything outrageous). Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep had Multiplayer but it wasn't as good as I had expected. So these are all of the multiplayer modes and ideas I'm hoping to see in future Kingdom Hearts games. Modes: Capture the Flag- In Capture the Flag their will be two, three, or four teams of people (the total amount of people is 8 on each team [the NGP is surely capable of doing this]). In Capture the Flag there will also be four flags. One flag is for the blue team, red team, yellow team, and green team. Whatever team you're on you must go to another team's hideout our where ever their flag is. Along the way you will have to fight Heartless, Nobodies,Unversed as well as any opponents on different teams (I was thinking about a little Keyblade action, anyone else?). If you can succesfully defeat your opponent then you can go to their Hideout and steal their flag (inless theirs a whole bunch of them defending the base). After you steal their flag you have to go back to your base and deliver it. If you die, while trying to bring the other teams flag to your base than you have to go back to your base and start all over. The other teams flag will also be returned to their base when you die. The Max amount of flags to be captured is the host's desicion (the host is the person who created the event). The number flags that can be captured in each game range from 1 to infinite. Whenever you win a Capture The Flag game all of the times you've killed one of your opponents, defeated Heartless, cured yourself or teamates, and flag captures will be saved to your stats. Juggernaut- In Juggernaut it is every man for himself. Whoever the Juggernaut is will be the strongest person with the strongest attacks, magic, everything. All the other people playing (up to 10 because the PS2 was able to handle 8 in R&C) must try to kill the Juggernaut. Whoever the person is that kills the Juggernaut will become the Juggernaut. Then all the other players will have to try and kill him. Sooner or later the game will end. Of course all of the kills you make will be saved to your stats. King of The Hill- The rules for King of The Hill are fairly simple. Their will be a lot of platforms that lead you up to high places in worlds. Whoever can stay on top of the highest platform for a certain amount of time wins the game. But if you get killed or fall down you will have to start all over. It may sound like a simple game but with 9 other people playing with you victory is almost impossible. Item Collection- I actually made this one up myself. In Item Collection all you have to do is collect a certain amout of items required. Of course you have to defeat Heartless and Nobodies to get these items. Some of the items are rare and some are not. The items that are not rare you will have to get a lot of them. The items that are rare you will only have to get a few (Orichalcum, Mythril Crystal). Also, if combat is nessacary than you can go ahead and kill opponents. If you do happen to kill them than you can steal all of their items to help you out. Their also colud be a time limit depending on the settings the host made. Enemy Kills- This is another mode I made up. In Enemy Kills (It's a stupid name I know)you have to defeat a certain amount of Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed. The player will know how many Heartless, Nobodies, or Unversed he/she has killed because there will be a bar with the number of kills. Their will be up to two teams each with 8 players. Both teams will have to try and reach the kill limit before the other. If teams come across each other then they will have to fight and kill players on the opposing team (inless they decide to ignore the other team and keep on walking). The host will decide what type of enemy to put in his/her game. He/she could put Heartless alone in the game our Nobodies and Unversed in the game. The host is also allowed to decide how big the kill limit is (ranging from 10 to infinite). Enemy Kills should be a fun game. Treasure Collection- Treasure Collection is another mode that just came to my mind. In Treasure Collection you have to find a certain amount of treasures and/or find certain items in them. Whatever team find's the most treasures before the time limit ends wins. If combat is nessacary then go ahead. Survival Mode- Fight hordes of Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed. Whatever team servives wins the game. Death Match- Death Match is probally one of the most exciting matches. In a Death Macth up to 10 people can play (5 on each team). It can be 2 vs. 2 or every man for him self/ free for all. There will be a certain amount of kills that a team or player will need in order to win (ranging from 1 to infinite). In Death Matches there are also Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed all around you so they should help you out. When the noobs are trying to find out who's the best player a Death Match is a good way to find out and settle the score with other users. Other Online Multiplayer Features: Lobby- In the lobby there can be thousands of people around the world their. They can chat with othe KH Online users, talk smack to them, get there ass kicked, and have a lot of fun at the same time. Other users can challenge you if you want. It is up to you if you want to face them. If you see someone you like then you can add them to your friends/buddies list. If you see someone you hate and acts like a total jackass than you can put them on your ignore list. When someone is your buddy they can invite you to games. If someone is on your ignore list you can't join there games. There's also Nemisis. To be someones Nemisis you have to kill and defeat them a lot of times. You can invite Nemisis to your games to settle the score and later become their Nemisis. Costumes/Skins/Characters- In Kingdom Hearts online it would be cool if you can be able to play as different characters in costumes or skins. At first you are alowed to play as Sora from KH1 and KH2 and Riku from KH1 and KH2. You cave to download, buy, and earn character costumes and skins. If you're an elite legend (meaning you're really good) than you have special skins and abilites. If you have 3,500 kills then you can play as Sora in Valor Form automatically at the start of a game (for a limited time though because it wouldn't be fair to weaker players). If you have 3,750 than it's Wisdom Form (you can choose between the two), 5,000 lets you play in Master Form, 5,500 lets you play in Limit Form, 7,500 lets you play in Final Form, and 4,000 lets you play in Anti Form. I'm sure Square would allow a number of Final Fantasy characters be playable. But to unlock these characters you will have to have a lot kills, wins, and more. Worlds- I wish that when you play Kingdom Hearts online you can play in all KH worlds. Whenever I imagined multiplayer like this it would be in Deep Jungle. But unfourtantley it won't happen because Disney lost the rights to Tarzan. The only way this is possible is if disney pays money to get Deep jungle back in KH (I doubt this will happen). Deep Jungle was a really big world, had a lot Heartless, and great music. But I'm sure other worlds will work out like Deep Jungle (For Example: Monstro, Hollow Boastion). I really hope that you'll be able to play in any world you wish (if this ever happens). Fighting/Combat- When fighting online, it's basically the same as fighting in story mode. Theres attacking, Magic Casting, Special Attacks (Strike Raid, Ragnarok etc.), Shotlocks, Drive Forms, Dodging, Jumping, Bouncing off walls, and Command Styles. Keyblades- You can use just about any Keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts series in a KH online game. Yup that's right you get the idea any Keyblade. But there are certain Keyblades you have to unlock in multiplayer modes based on the amount of kills, wins, and stats you have. There are certain Keyblades that only the most elite of the elite can wield. These Keyblades have strentgh's ranging from 8 to 14 and magic from 6 to 16. Health Bars- Because it would be pretty easy to defeat your opponent if you all have Keyblades, the characters should have health bars. When you're in combat you can see your opponents health bar on top of their head. Taunts- While playing online with other people you are allowed to use taunts by pressing L and triangle. You can use taunts as much as you want. Eventually after having enough you can go up to that person and kick his/her ass. These are some tautns from the Ratchet and Clank series used online: Bad Taunts: Humiliation Owned Hahaha You can Cry now! Zzzzzzzzzz Good Taunts (for teammates): Follow Me Cover Me Defend The Base Well I hope you like my multiplayer ideas. I would love to see these in future Kingdom Hearts installments. If a KH game had all these online features then I asure you it will become rapidly more popular. Any other suggestions or thoughts?

rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 5, 2011 I like it. I would like another game type like Mission Mode from Days, but that could just be me.
Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 5, 2011 LOL if he wants cod elements in kh he should stop dreaming and go play cod no offence to the author of the thread I don't want any Call of Duty elements in Kingdom Hearts games. And most of my ideas came from the Ratchet and Clank series, so where did you get your facts from?
hatok 6,413 Posted May 8, 2011 Just so you know, the console something appears on doesn't determine how many players there can be. It comes down to how much the system can process, and Square is known for their stunning but taxing graphics, and KH is known for complex combat. Put those together and you have the main problem multiplayer doesn't work in KH. In theory, the PS2 could have thousands of billions of characters at once in multiplayer. If they were all one pixel in size, and could only move left. I doubt the NGP could effectively handle a next gen KH with 8-10 characters. Though, you could probably get away with a fair bit more than that if the graphics were PS2 quality. The problem? Square would never do that. They always have to have the bleeding edge in graphics. Never mind KH has a fixation on provide some sort of canon excuse WHY everything exists. The Mirage Arena is a mirage. Multiplayer in Days is a data replay. etc. etc.

Knowing, the NGP is much stronger than the PS2, this should be child's play.

Knowing, the NGP is much stronger than the PS2, this should be child's play. That would only be the case if Square kept PS2 graphics. But on a PS3 level system, they're probably gonna want to ahve high poly models, with lots of clothing and hair physics. Never mind the particle effects and special effects and such that accompany every attack. All the 2D images (Used for slashing, magic, etc.) would be HD as well. Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 23, 2011 I guess no one is interested in my ideas. These ideas really would make Kingdom Hearts a better game. 1 Pinguijose reacted to this

Rodman 22 Posted June 24, 2011 Like others before, I think they should make a coop story mode with Sora and Riku.
Key2Oblivion 37 Posted June 27, 2011 I gotta say I would love the idea of multiplayer but with kingdom hearts being what it is there are limited options for online imo. Like most of the ideas you mentioned were successful because they were a part of the games they were a part of. I know that sounds like a bs excuse but I don't really know how else to word it. The multiplayer I feel kingdom hearts could have would be co op stuff. Like mission mode, or survival like you mentioned, but thats about it...maybe they could test out a 1 v 1 sort of thing but thats about it. Anyway hopefully there is multiplayer in the future and hopefully they put thought into and it's not something square just throws onto the game. Better to have a good, focused multiplayer than a wide base that feels forced.
Matthew 74 Posted June 30, 2011 that would be weird seeing a bunch of Sora's with keyblades battling each other i mean REALLY just picture it,theres like 10 vs 10 capture the flag,2 Sora's are at each flag for each sides flag, then its like team blue gets team red's flag then from the Sora with the red teams flag...,"OH CRUD AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...." and then he gets SWARMED WITH SORAS SWINGING THEIR KEYBLADES AT HIM THEN CHAOS 5 REDS AGAINST 4 BLUES!THE END RESULT? ONE RED WINS AND WIN THE GAME ! but really that would just be REALLY LOTS OF CHAOS with everyone swinging their keyblades at everyone on the other team.I MEAN IMAGIN FREE-FOR-ALL! NOW THAT WOULD BE HECTIC!
Ace326 79 Posted July 9, 2011 Some of the multiplayer ideas could be a bit much, but they are good ideas. Co-op is something that they can do though, but they would go overboard with it (like Super Mario Bros Wii).
