He waits for Devimon charging until the right time to strike.

As devimon comes close running, chris grabs him from the legs and throws him on his back behind him.

"Its going great, Im not gonna tell you what it does though." Nate said. "Not yet." He continues. " When I do tell you though your mind is goona explode due to amazment." Nate said with a smile on his face. "All of the Data Squad will cower in fear from its power." Nate continued.

Marina looked at Gaomon and then heard some loud noise. She ranne utside the base and saw huge Digimon attacking. Marina sighs and looks at Gaomon. She then took out the Digimon. "Evolving to...Mechgaogamon!"Marina says as Gaomon super evolves into Mechgaogamon. Marina jumped on Mechgaogamon and gets on his shoukder. "Let's go."Marina says. "yes mam."Mechgaogamon says as he then punched a Digimon hard and it turns into a Digiegg since it wasn't that strong. Marina saw more come at them. Mechgaogamon got reacy for battle.

"It's getting a bit noisy with the Data Squad around, I just need to get that Marina girl out of here so we can get those 6 more digimon, then the next time we meet the Data Squad will perish. Our leader will be happy to know of your return." "We'll have to catch you up on the actions of the group since you were gone," Renamon said looking at Dark Agumon. "Right, if you can get out of their base tonight, Renamon and I will probably be hanging out on top of a giant building...since our bridge was taken down, so just look for two shadowy figures." She said before opening the door to see Marina attacking the large digimon. Kait pulls out her digivice, "Can someone please close the lab doors "giga's" are escaping." Just then a Datamon walked by freezing the giant digimon and transporting them back to the lab. "Problem one solved...I found Nate," Kait says pointing to Nate when all the Datamon were gone. "I know where Chris is too but you'll have to go without me because he is facing another Breaker and if they see me helping you let's just say things won't be pretty and like I said this is a once in a lifetime chance."

Devimon mocked circling around Chris stopping in back of him so they were both facing Flamedramon and Growlmon, "I wonder who would win if they stayed like that, don't you?" He asked. "Do you see what the darkness could do for you if you allow it to?" "Devimon, just get this over with now!" Caleb shouted getting impatient.

Marina turned to her and then Mechgaogamon returned to his normal state. Both Gaomon and Marina fell down and landed gracefully and perfectly on their feet. Marina looks at her and nods. "Tell me where he is and I'll be able to help."Marina says. The girl tells him where Chris is at. Marina nods and runs around but before she leaves she says one last thing to the girl. "Thank you." With that Marina and Gaomon went running as fast as they could. When they got to the place they kicked a door down and looked around and saw Christ and a Data Breaker. "Leave my friend alone."Marina says.

Devimon was still circling around while Chris looked at Growlmon and Flamedramon

"Guys please! Stop fighting each other! SNAP OUT OF IT!"

Growlmon and Flamedramon's dont pay attention as their pupils are enlarged

"DIGITIZE!"

Flamedramon and Growlmon are digitized, soon they calm down and revert back to guilmon and veemon

Guilmon:What happened?! Everything went black!

Chris looked at devimon then at caleb then looked at marina

"Ah look you're girlfriend came out to play, how sweet, not that bad of a looker either," Caleb teased looking at Marina, Nate and Chris. He looked at Nate and thought, 'Since when was he one of them?! Guess I have a lot more to report then I thought.' He moves fast in front of Marina, "As fun as it would be to stay and introduce my self to your beautiful self, I must go and report," he bent down and kissed her hand, "And if I'm not mistaken you three have three or five portal to close and they are not near each other what so ever, so if I were you, I'd get a move on. Demimon!" Caleb finished snapping his fingers and disappearing.

"Master you wanted to see me," Kait said walking into the meeting room and bowed. "Yes, the growing number of active Data Squad members seems to be overwhelming you," he began. "I can assure you sir it'-," Kait started but was cut off. "I can tell, it is not just you, other Breakers as well seem to be struggling with meeting quota. That is why I have assigned everyone teams of two or three. Your partner is-" this time it was his turn to be cut off by the door opening. "Ah Caleb, you've decided to join us," he finally finished. Kait rolled her eyes and mumbled, "you can not be serious." Caleb made his way further into the room and bowed next to Kait flashing her a fake smile, "Hey there partner." Kait rolled her eyes, "is this really necessary?" "Until we have reached at least half of our goals, yes it is and you two will perform as a team despite your past fall out...s, understood?" the leader stated sternly. "Understood," they said in unison. "You two start tomorrow, that is all, unless either of you have something to report. Especially after the day this base went through," He looked at the two. "Yes actually Master, it gives me great disappointment to inform you that Nate, the technical specialist, has been found," Caleb started. "That is of no disappointment, where is he?" The master asked. "That is the disappointing part, he has joined with the Data Squad and he-." Caleb was cut of by Kait, "No I spoke with him today, he is working behind enemy lines now in fact he began working again on the new digivices he was suppose to have done. I can bring him here tonight if you want and he can explain everything." "Well then I will see you three tonight," the master said leaving the room. Kait and Caleb stood up, looked at each other and groaned both silently agreeing that this partnership was going to torture.

Marina just stared and then looked back. She looked at Chris. "Let's go. Move."Marina says. She then turns to Nate. She takes a deep breath and sighs. "I guess it was true good to be true. You were right Gaomon. True heroes can never be found that easily..."Marina says kind of dissapointed,not reconizing Nate anymore. Not the Nate she knew anyways. She turned to him. She then turns and runs around and to the exit. She then gets ready and gets Gaomon turn back into Mechgaogamon. Marina got on his shoulder and looked around. "We need to close them."Marina says. Mechgaogamon noded and got to work.

"I can't risk having Guilmon and Veemon fight eachother fight to the death.."Chris said

He looked at Nate with an odd looking digivice next to him

"Something isnt right......never mind.."

Most of the data breakers have dark digimon...there's kait with her dark renamon...then nate with dark agumon.....Then caleb with that annoying impmon....

Chris looked at nate

he's one of them and i know it, but when the time is right, i'm going to expose him for who he is!

"I'll check if i can close this digiport here"

Chris peers his head in the digiport and notices a desert rocky terrain

"Woah...this is simmilar then death valley in california.."

After a good while. Mechgaogamon had managed to close three of the portals. He was getting exahusted but was struggeling as he was now trying to close the fourth one. He was shooting beams at it. Marina then got her hand on Mechgaogamon and dark blue data sorrounded her and gave Mechgaogamon a boost. Then after a few good minutes that portal was finally closed. They both panted as it was taking alot of them. Marina looked at Mechgaogamon. "We...need to check...and close that last one..."Marina says as she pants. Mechgaogamon noded and went to the last one.

Chris loses his balance as he looks inside the digiport

Soon....he falls in....

"HEEEEEEELLLLP!" He shouts as he falls into the desert wasteland

He remained calm and did a dive much like a hawk and grabed a branch of an oasis palm tree and landed.

He later see's a few untamed Guilmon

"....um...hi....i just fell in...from that....up there...." He said

The Guilmon sniff him and know's he's a human.

"Um...how can i get out of here...."He asks

He takes a step foward but they get scared and flee

"...great i'm stuck here till i can find a way out....just great...."

Chris materialized veemon and guilmon

"Woah! I KNOW THIS PLACE! I WAS BORN HERE AS A JYARIMON!" Guilmon says

"This place is too hot! Thank goodness there's an oasis here!" Veemon jumps in for a swim

Chris looks around for any sign of life.

Nate and Black Agumon were already at the last digiportal. "Black Agumon digivolove into X WarGreymon" Nate said. Black Agumon did as asked and became X WarGreymon, then he started to close the digiportal. " I hope that Marina will learn to trust me again." Nate said. Just as X WarGreymon closed the digiportal, Marina started to walk towards them. "Marina ,can we talk?" Nate asked.

Mechgaogamon growled towards them and got ready to fight. But then Marina stopped him. She then got on Mechgaogamon's hand. Mechgaogamon stretched his hand foward. Then Nate got on X WarGreymon's hand and now Nate and Marina were in their Digimon's hands and were facing eachother with still distance between them. Marina crossed her arms. "What?"Marina asks kind of angry.

"I know u dont trust me," Nate said. " But I'm on your side, I was part of the Data Breakers but Ive changed. I am with the Data squad." Nate said. " Here take my digivice if you don't beleive me." Nate said as he took his digivice out.

Kait and Caleb were in the training room battling against each other. Renamon and Impmon going at it swapping attacks and dodging each others. "Not bad, maybe this partner thing won't be so bad after all," Caleb said staring at Kait as Impmon dodged an attack from Renamon. "The Data Squad is not to be underestimated, they are strong," Kait pointed out glaring back at him. "Leader is trying to make a way for Impmon to digivolve into Beelzemon in order to make him stronger. And once this bio-merge project is complete, we'll be unstoppable." "I guess," Kait replied. "You don't seem as excited as you should be," Caleb noticed looking at her, "This project will allow us to become one with our digimon." "I know that, it just what are the risks with it?" Kait asked, "nothing that good doesn't have its risks." "Who cares, we'll be unstoppable!" Caleb said noticing Impmon take a hit from Renamon, "Impmon, what was that?!" he yelled. Impmon looked back at Caleb in fright, "I'm sorry Caleb," he apologized. "Impmon you don't have to apologize to Caleb, it is training," Kait said looking at Caleb. "Impmon wants to be strong, getting hit will not help him," Caleb explained. "I'm not going to tell you how to treat your digimon, but as your partner I'm going to advise you work with your digimon instead of using him as a tool," Kait replied. "You two can stop now," Caleb said looking at the two. Renamon and Impmon stopped and looked at their partners. "We're going to check on how the Data Squad is fairing out with these portals and while we're out we'll find Nate and bring him back to the Master," Celeb ordered. Kait nodded and the two began walking outside the base. "By the way, just because we're a team does not mean you get to order Renamon and me around," Kait stated glaring at Caleb.

Marina looks down. "I don't know..."Marina says. Then she looks back up and stares into his eyes. She slowly nods. "Allright...I trust you."Marina says. Mechgaogamon stared at her with a surprised look. "A member is a member,as long as he or she wears the uniform. Nate is a member,and a parthner."Marina says. Mechgaogamon did not liked this. But agreed.

Chris looks around for any sign of life but nothing, they later see a forest and start running for the forest looking for shelter

"Ah..here we are...we can sit down and rest for a while"

"Chris...i think someone's watching us...."Guilmon said

"Yeah..i have the same feeling...."Veemon said

Guilmon sniffed around picking a scent

"AY AY AY AY AY AY AY!" A girl jumped out with a patamon in her hair

"AHH!" The 3 scream like girls

"IDENTIFY YOURSELF!" The girl said

Chris looked at her

"OH THANK GOD A HUMAN! I'M CHRIS, IM PART OF DATA SQUAD, THIS IS GUILMON AND VEEMON, HOW CAN I GET OUT OF HERE?!" He asked

The girl looks at him

"There is no way out, the only way out is at the last world which is a temple and you have to defeat the boss to get to the real world again."The girl said

"By the way, the names may!" May said

"And i'm patamon!" The patamon pops out of her hair eating an orange

Chris looks at the 5

"How long have you been here anyways?" Guilmon asked

"I've lived here since i was 6, we saw a portal open and as i fell in my digivice with my pet patamon came to life! This is my new home now!" May said

Great..now i have to stick with jungle girl till i can get out of here...

"Thank you Marina." Nate said with a smile. He puts his digivice in his pocket thinking Yes she bought my lie. " Now Marina they still think I'm on there team so I'm gonna stay for the night ok?" Nate asked.

Marina stared at him. Then looks back down. "Fine."Marina says. She then looks back up. "But...I don't reconize you anymore."Marina says. She looks away. "Your eyes...your voice...they're not the same sweet and innocent ones. You're Nate,and a member. But not the Nate that I know and knew."Marina says. Mechgaogamon then growled and snapped towards Nate and his Digimon and turned back to Gaogamon. Thenhe got Marina on his back and started to run back to base.

The digital sky turned dark and a digital moon appeared

Chris, guilmon, and veemon find a nice spot under an orange tree

Chris picks an orange and so do guilmon and veemon

"I wonder if this isn't digital...i'm starving.."

Guilmon and veemon eat the apple

"AHHHHH!"

Chris gets pummled by a huge pile of oranges

"There we go! Dinner!" May shouted

Guilmon and Veemon snickered

"Huh? Where did he go?"Patamon asked

"..down here...."Chris groaned in pain

"Oh...sorry! "May said

Guilmon and Veemon Pulled chris out of the pile

"Well....at least this is food..."

They eat the oranges and watch the night sky

Could she really have known I changed back into a Data Breaker just by my eyes and voice? Nate thought as Marina left. Well at least I can see Kait tonight without being caught by the Squad. He continued to think. Till then he waited in his room and slept with Black agumon.

Everyone is sleeping on the branches of the trees

"How the hell am i going to get out of here.....I have to either beat this monster at the end which is some temple....or wait till the data breakers open a portal....I need to get back home" Chris said silently

He eats another orange gaining vitamin c (WOOHOO FOR NUTRITION X:)

Guilmon and Veemon are both sleeping in the same tree

"Renamon...will you marry me?.....Oh..i love you too....."Guilmon makes smooching noises and groans O_O"

"...No...i wont let you win......digivolu..tion.......hah i beat you..."Veemon said in his sleep

He later sees patamon and May sleeping together

Chris stands up and walks around the forest looking at the digital sky

someone.....i need to get out of here......marina....kait.....nate....please....oh and you too caleb..i guess....if you help me out.....sheesh why am i asking for help from the enemy anyways?...who cares..the fact is if i get out i will be completely greatful....

Gaogamon walked around with Marina on his back. "I'm sorry Marina..."Gaogamon says as he could feel that Marina was staring to feel very depressed at the moment. Azura didn't spoke. She just stared down. She wasn't in the mood to talk right now. "I'll keep security high for him. He may be wearing our uniform,but still,if he's liying...he might still be with us,right?" Marina then looked down more. "Chief,not working."Gaogamon says.

"I told Nate we'd meet him tonight and catch him up on things," Kait informed Caleb as the group walked down an alley. Caleb nodded, "How about while we are getting to where ever you told him to meet us, you catch me up on the tactics of this Data Squad group we are dealing with." Kait thought for a minute before replying, "I haven't faced them enough to really know their fighting style." "Pathetic, you should know by first glance how they fight and already make a move against them," Caleb said causing Kait to glare at him. "Oh really well how do you think they are, I mean you faced them once," Kait said with anger. "From what I saw they are nothing to be worried about. I really don't understand how you couldn't do this yourself," Caleb said staring straight. Kait rolled her eyes and looked at Renamon. "Yeah the boss an I we could've taken all of them down piece by piece," Impmon added receiving a look from Caleb which caused him to cower. "This should be good," Kait said stopping in front of a tall building with a fire shoot. They began climbing. When they made it up to the top Caleb glanced at Kait, "Now what?" "We wait," Kait said closing her eyes.

Nate woke up as the sun set. Better get to that tower he thought. "Wake up Black Agumon!" Nate yelled instantly waking him up. "Huh? Oh hey Nate. Where we going?" Black Agumon asked. "To the tower. Now lets go." Nate said. It took 15min to get to the tower.
