Lu Xun 2,069 Posted May 1, 2011 It was Kingdom Hearts II in 2006 or 2007. I rented it but I couldn't pass from one boss so I stopped playing it lol. I was watching a friend play it one day and at first thought the game looked stupid, but then my friend moved away and that was the last thing we did together was play the game. My parents bought a PS2 for me one year and I saw the game on sale for $19.99 and decided to try it out again and see what was so great about it. ktbpiano 3 Posted May 1, 2011 first for me was kingdom hearts. i remember i saw a commercial and back then what ever came out for the ps2 i wanted. i got the game but could not get passed deep jungle so i didnt play and and soon forgot about it. a few years later i saw a kh2 commercial and remembered about the game. beat the first one then got and beat the second, been addicted ever since. Rosie 3 Posted May 1, 2011 I'd been recommended Kingdom Hearts a few times, and a friend leant me Chain of Memories in 2005- but I wouldn't say I properly played a KH game until I bought Kingdom Hearts II pretty soon after it was released in the UK. I remember I saw the advert on TV for the first time during the premiere of High School Musical... :'D *wipes tear* But I played and finished KH2 long before I went back for the original. I seriously freaked out and ignored all the other unopened packages and rushed off to play it immediately. I remember doing nothing really besides playing it for the rest of my winter break! Janux 0 Posted May 1, 2011 Kingdom Hearts 1 was the first one I played. It was my birthday (11/11/05) and my dad picked me up to celebrate it with him. He took me to Gamestop to buy me a birthday present and after looking through games I saw it on display. I picked it up and then asked him to buy it for me but he wanted to buy me this one superhero game. It took a while of convincing but I finally got him to buy it for me. I was 10 when I got it and I don't regret that decision as it is my favorite video game series. Then, a couple of months later, this one Gamestop clerk showed us the commercial for KH2 and we put it on pre-order. I don't remember if I played COM before or after it, though. J. Severe 1,137 Posted May 1, 2011 Got Kingdom Hearts first back in 2008. The next year, my cousin got KH2. The Christmas of THAT year I got Re:Chain of Memories. In 2010, I got a DS and 358/2 Days. At the start of THIS year, I got Kingdom Hearts II for MYSELF, and a month or two ago, I got Re:coded. After she filled me in on the events of Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories, she lent me Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Unfortunately, due to my love of Roxas, Xion, Axel and Naminé I couldn't finish because I kept crying so much to the point I couldn't see the screen. Then I got into the rest of the game(s), I found out what happened in Kingdom Hearts II and coded. Then, next summer, I went to an anime convention and found Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. They both cost 40$ but I didn't have enough money to buy both and I always heard the gameplay of KHII was better than KHI so I bought Kingdom Hearts II and that's when I really got involved into the KH series. Now, (thanks to my birthday) I own three KH games, II, Birth by Sleep and Re:coded. If I wanted to, I can also borrow Days from my cousin. Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts and Re:Chain of Memories might be the only KH games I might never play, seeing how you can't automatically buy them in a store.
