Sora96 17,256 Posted April 29, 2011 My favorite world would have to be "The World That Never Was". A large dark city unexplored, with many question marks surrounding it. The final battle takes place in a fortress in it's sky. Countless Heartless and the Organization 13 Members reside there. If Xemnas chose this world as the base of operations for the Organization he must have a good reason. When Radiant Garden was just sitting there along with many other worlds. How could Xemnas' Kingdom Hearts remain like that? How could Xemnas direct all the hearts to that location. Many many questions surround this strange and interesting world. But sadly these questions may never be answered. Here's the future! And let's hope there is a world similar to this.
DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted April 29, 2011 I really don't revisit worlds that much when the game is over... but in Birth by Sleep, I think I've gone to Castle of Dreams the most. If you go around the world a lot, with a couple of Victory Poses, you can level up really easily. The Unversed there actually provide good experience, and the swarms are closer together than in most other worlds. Because of that, Terra was level 20 before going to Radiant Garden... in Critical mode. In Kingdom Hearts 1, I think I liked Destiny Islands the best. I liked the upbeat tropical music, the ability to swim around and catch a couple of fish, the zipline... and the events that happened there cannot go ignored. The cute scene when Sora draws himself and Kairi eating the Paopu Fruit, The scene when Riku sinks into the darkness... And that Darkside is a fun battle, too! In Kingdom Hearts re:COM, I'd once again have to say Destiny Islands in RIku's story, or Twilight Town in Sora's story. In Riku's story, you have not one, but two boss battles! The Zexion fight is really fun as well, and I love watching that scene where Riku slashes through "Sora," only for it to be Zexion. You should have seen the look on my friends face then! In Sora's story, I just enjoy watching Axel kill Vexen. "No! Please don't! I don't want to-" "Goodbye!" In both Kingdom Hearts 2 and KH 358/2 days, I enjoy the World that Never Was. I use it to level up my forms (other than Master) in KH2, and I love the battle against Riku in KH 358/2 days. The reunion with Riku and Kairi is really sweet too. I actually have a save file I use just to watch that scene. Ehehehe... In Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, I go to Olympus Collisuem, just to level up at the gate. Seriously! There's a truckload of Heartless out there, just waiting for me to kill them and send their minds to Sora's Heartless! The Heartless also drop a whole bunch of abilities I won't really need, so I can sell them to some Moogle.

Suzaku1988 6 Posted April 29, 2011 My favorite world... that is a tough one... I actually like most of the base worlds. I literally fell in love with Traverse Town in the first game because of it's soft jazz and homey feeling even though there are Heartless lurking around every corner... I also love Twilight Town because it has the same homey feeling with light gentle music. The view from the from the Clock Tower is amazing as well as the sun from Sunset Terrace... I think I got that wrong, but I haven't played KH2 in awhile. I could go on and on with the worlds I like, but I'd just be rambling on...
KeyOfVentus 90 Posted April 29, 2011 I love the Keyblade Graveyard from BBS. It's the most awesom world EVER! I can't have my characters run in that world. The tone that the music plays in and the fact that there are virtually no Unversed in most of it, makes me hit theanalog stick so lightly that after summoning my Keyblade(Which is always the special one obtained after the Destiny Island scene with Terra or Ventus or for Aqua I use Kairi's Keyblade cause I think it's a good weapon.) I just walk so slow through the whole world. The setting demands patience when going through it even though you're supposed to be in a hurry. It's also where you have the ultimate battle, the same one we've all been dreaming of since seeing the Secret Video from KH2 Final Mix. It's amazing and brings all three stories together for one final close(other than Final episode, I'm talking about their journies.) In all senses, even though it's only truely appeared in BBS, it's definately the best. Plus you get to see possibly thousands of Keyblades just scattered there. I've always wanted to know if the keychains took the keyblade from the Keyblade Graveyard when attatched, and I'm looking forward to figuring that out, since it's probably not something we'd be told. Also its start-off name "The Badlands", LOVE'N IT! Plus I love fighting as Lingering Will(Terra's Armor...( Name From http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Lingering_Will )...I've never been able to get KH2FM So I've never been able to fight him, but fighting as him against Terranort is the next best thing, heck it might even be better. TheApprenticeofKingMickey 3,689 Posted April 30, 2011 Urgh! I have too many favourites. Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden (The Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep versions) - Because of the vibe it seems to give off. It it such a beautiful place and the characters in that world make up for its beauty. Castle Oblivion - Mainly due to the theme music which is so mysterious it gives the thrills. In fact, C.O. itself is so mysterious and I want to know all the secrets Aqua created when she created the castle. Twilight Town - Because of the ties to Roxas and Xion. Every time I see that sunset, I feel like crying because I love Roxas, Xion and Axel so much. The music is so sweet, I adore seeing Hayner, Pence and Olette and I just love how quiet and ordinary it is. Destiny Islands - It's tropical. It reminds me of Okinawa and Hawaii. Who doesn't like that? Also, because of its ties to Sora, Kairi and Riku and I love those three very much. It's one of my favourites world to play in even it is only playable in Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories and coded. I can't wait until the next game where the real Destiny Islands is playable. The World That Never Was - The theme music kicks ass, I love how it's a city. There's no pollution which makes it even more beautiful, the darkness of that world is comforting yet unsettling and the city lights almost seem otherworldly. I love how Kingdom Hearts just hangs in the sky like a moon and I love how the castle floats about the city. It's amazing, really. TWTNW is just so ethereal. Traverse Town - Think about it. In Kingdom Hearts, while nearly every world was being destroyed by the Heartless and many of its residents ended up in Traverse Town. Despite how gloomy the situation seemed, Traverse Town (and its music) is a very cheery place and that's what I like about it.

J. Severe 1,137 Posted May 1, 2011 Okay, so my favorite (GASP! Notice the stunning lack of "u"! ) Kingdom Hearts worlds would have to be... Destiny Islands: This is where the game started, in this level's Chamber of Awakening. This is where many KH veterans first ended up when they popped their PS2 disc into the drive and got to play after watching minutes of cutscenes. Where you first tilted the analog stick, pressed the "O" button to jump, got to choose your weapon, and beat the crud of Heartless by mercilessly mashing the "X" button. Also, it is where you faced first combat with Darkside, who may possibly be, the most epic Heartless ever! Afterward, this is where you first embraced Riku and Kairi, the other two members of the trio. 'Tis where you first caught glimpse of Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, and noticed that they were younger since you last saw them. The FIRST TIME you delved into the mystery of the darkness, and where your journey began. And perhaps most enthralling is that as awesome as the beginnings of KH2 and BBS were, they could never match the nostalgia of Destiny Islands in KH1. Tsk tsk... Hallow Bastion: In Kingdom Hearts, after playing through the cluster of Disney worlds, you came to a place that wasn't familiar... a dark, eerie place... One that emitted evil and mystery. One that stared you in its face with his disfigured design. THIS, you could tell, was where the action REALLY started. THIS was Hallow Bastion! THIS was where you faced the game's hardest bosses, where you spent hours upon hours trying to defeat that blasted Dragon Maleficent and Possessed-by-Ansem Riku. Where you got to play as a Heartless for the first time and experienced cutscenes that made you shed a tear and know that this was no ordinary RPG, but one that could tingle your heart. And the cutscenes that you memorized because they came before a hard boss that took you a few hundred times to beat. Castle Oblivion: Oh yeah, the hub world (and ONLY world) in Chain of Memories. It was all white, excluding the worlds explored by cards and occasional save point. Here, we got to use cards, which was a different change of pace, but it was more strategic than just pressed "X" an obscene amount of times. Here, Sora forgot about Kairi and thought of Namine as best friend, and his battles with Repliku were challenging (and entertaining to see the two fight over a girl. ). Aaaannnndddd let's not forget the first appearance of the best villain team ever, Organization XIII! Marluxia may seem like a typical flower boy, but he can axe you in just one slash with his scythe, or, as I like to call it, "with killuh flowuh powuh." Twilight Town: One of the most soothing and perhaps realistic worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series, Twilight Town. As a returning KH veteran having taken on both the aforementioned KH and its Game Boy sequel (or perhaps a guy who had played KH but not CoM as you thought it was useless, or you never heard of it, and ended up having ZERO idea what the flip was going on), this was the first place you took on after besting the Twilight Thorn. The beautiful sunset and companionship of Hayner, Pence, and Olette reminding you of your own childhood perhaps? And let's not forget the awesome boss fight against Axel, playing as dual-wielder Roxas. Obviously, Square must have thought the world was as awesome as us, because they made us keep coming to it, even as Sora, later on in the tale. Pride Lands: Don't mind this, I just love this world for my own reasons. Maybe cuz it's based off my favorite movie, or because Sora's so cute when he's slashing his Keyblade with his little lion teeth, but there's SOMETHING about this... The World That Never Was: Drawing the tale of KH2 to an end was The World that Never Was (which makes no sense, as it's clearly here for us all to see and gawk at). Baring the design of a dark city, with flashy Town Square-like lights ablaze, not only was it fun to explore, but it was dazzling to boot! Here's where all the classic scenes we've wanted to see occurred: Kairi and Riku reuniting with Sora, Kairi and Namine meeting each other, etc. Also, here's where that AWESOME KH1 secret ending took plce (which still amazes me today by the way), and Roxas went head-to-head with Riku! Also, the thrilling Organization XIII battles (and accompaning deaths) went on here, and Xemnas's boss fight was nothing short of amazing. Keyblade Graveyard: Now, I haven't played Birth by Sleep, but it doesn't take a fool to know that this world is one of the biggies. We got our first glimpse of it in KH2FM, where we battled Lingering Sentiment, and that was surely fun. Here, it's where Terra, Ventus, and Aqua went against Vanitas and Master Xehanort in their final battles. Also, it looked pretty darn cool in the KH2FM secret ending. Not to mention the shiny Kingdom Hearts in the sky. Oh, and the fact that the historic Keyblade War occurred here gives it another boost of coolness. Disney Castle/Disney Town: Like with the Pride Lands, this is just here because I thought it was fun. I mean, what's better than going through THE Disney world (no pun intended), and getting to fight with Queen MINNIE of all people! Disney Town was pretty fun too. Radiant Garden: Last, but not least, Radiant Garden, the previous form of Hallow Bastion. While we got our first glimpse of it in KH2, we didn't see the REAL thing until Birth by Sleep. Here, we see a peaceful, and absolutely beautiful world filled with colorful characters. Plus, we can all agree that young Kairi is SO cute! ( )Also, don't forget that this is where Kairi got the ability to wield the Keyblade here, which she will hopefully put to use in the future games since discovering her ability to use it in KH2. Oh yeah, and there's Kairi's grandmama, who seems to be the only parental figure of... well, ANY character we've seen in the series. Minusing Sora's Mom. And... that's about it! Hope you enjoyed this freakishly long post, and I'll make sure there are plenty more in later threads so you can read it and hurt your brain!

Lu Xun 2,069 Posted May 1, 2011 Sorry for the late reply.. D8 Well... Favorite Kingdom Hearts World... Considering the amount of worlds, it's impossible to have one favorite so I'll put three instead.. Hope that's okay 8D 1st-Hollow Bastion/ Radiant Garden This world is really fantastic! If you think about it, everything came from here.. I mean, Ansem's apprentices.. Xehanort (Ansem) sending heartless to the worlds.. Aqua's and Terranort's fight.. This is also Kairi's home world.. it was here where Aqua put the magic spell on her.. The Organization began here. Riku was taken by Ansem here.. So, basically, I love this world because he plays a great part in the whole story.. It's also a world created in by the game series, which makes it more special. It is also the gateway to another worlds Tron's world(Space Paranoids) and in KH2, to 100 Acre Wood. The world is also where we can fight the Datas in the final mix. Those are the reasons why I love Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden >8D 2nd-Land of Departure This world has been kept save by generations of keyblade wielders. That alone is enough to love it.. But just being Aqua's and Terra's (this is a supposition) home world, makes it even cooler. It was also here where Terra first gave in to the darkness, when he decided to fight Master Eraqus. And, another great world, Castle Oblivion, came from Land of Departure. So these are my reasons to love this one too >8D 3rd- The World That Never Was This world is the third one in my list for many reasons. Some of them are written below: -Home World of the Organization, which is pretty fun and interesting. -It's unknown how the Organization went to this world, being only supposed that they created it. -holds many secrets about some members' truly wishes. Only this world's walls could hear it. -Its future is unknown, which gives even more mystery to this world's story. -Has many rooms which weren't seen, and probably will never be seen again. So this is my list. Hope you enjoyed/ agreed with some facts stated on it (:

I hate that Edgar Rice made it so it can't reappear in any more games.
KHgamergurl90 2 Posted October 24, 2013 I have a few... Twilight Town because it's so peaceful with the background and the town below. Not to mention the music is amazing! its so relaxing that I sat there and listened to it on repeat for quite a few hours I just love it. okay and Sora is hands down my favorite character but I also love Roxas and being that Twilight Town is where he once resided is another reason why I love it. Castle Oblivion I love this one because it is such a challenge for me. I still to this day cannot finish RE:COM. I have had the game for 4 years I think and I'm about to go back and try again. anyway The play style is different from the others and castle oblivion is where we learn all about the mysterious Organization 13 members thru Sora and Riku which I thought was really cool seeing them learn more about themselves the farther they went into the castle. Halloween Town one of my all time favorite movies hands down! its tied with Lion King and Aladdin. In KH2 I loved going between Halloween Town and Christmas Town. Hallow Bastion/ Radiant Garden this town was full of mystery for me but also fighting alongside the FF characters made it that much more epic! going down the path leading to the fight with Demyx and the 1000 heartless always gave me goosebumps cuz it was so awesome to fight with all the different FF characters. Plus fighting 1000 heartless was exciting. I also loved this world because this is where Sora got down on his hands and knees to show Saix how much Kairi really means to me and I thought it was cute that he cares so much about her that he would do anything to make sure she is safe.
