~*Chapter 11*~

Maiden of Light

 

 

Ventus walked up a bit towards the water as there was silence once more. "Hook?"Ventus asks. Next thing any of then know,this huge splash occured infont of them. Hook screamed as his clothes were tattered all around. He swam as fast as he possibly could as the croc was right behind him,licking its lips and chasing him down. "SMEEEEE! SMEEEEEE!!!"Hook yelled as he swam. The croc right behind him. And Mr.Smee paddleling in a boat trying to catch up. "I'M COMING CAPTAIN!"Mr.Smee says as he paddled the boat. Ventus,Pan and Tinkerbell stared and laughed.

 

"It may have been a while,but Hook is still the same after so long."Ventus says as he dismissed his keyblade.

 

Peter Pan turned to Ventus,then to the treasure chest. "Oh yeah,um. About the wooden blade you left with us..."Peter Pan says as he stood up and took out something from the chest. He turned to Ventus,as he showed the blade he had left in the treasure chest last time he was here. It had been broken in half. We can blame Vanitas for that. "Er,sorry about that. By the time we found out it was missing from the chest it was already broken. Though your friend did mentioned it wasn't that bad though."Peter Pan says. Ventus picked up the two pieces of the broken blade.

 

"Well,it's all history,right? You really don't need to be sorry."Ventus says. He walked over to the water. Peter Pan turned. "You sure Ven?" Ventus noded and threw the pieces into the water. "It was only a temporary material. Besides. As long as I have my memories,that's all that matters."Ventus says smiling as he turned to Peter. Peter Pan noded.

 

Ventus looked down and then turned to the side. "Well,I better get going. Need to start looking around other worlds."Ventus says.

 

Peter Pan looked at him. "Aw,you have to leave so soon? We were about to re-play the treasure hunt game."

 

Ventus noded. "Don't worry. I'll come back and visit. I won't take that long this time either. I,just really need to find my friends again."Ventus says. Peter Pan noded. Ventus tapped his armour on his shoulder and his armour covered him. He threw his keyblade as it transformed into his runner. Tinker Bell flew over to Ven and waved. Ventus smiled under his helmet. "See ya around too Tink."Ventus says. He jumped onto his runner and waved. He reved it up and flew up high into the lanes in between.

Ventus rode his runner through the lanes in between. He really didn't knew where exactly to go next,as there were so many worlds that were new to him,and the ones that he already knew had changed either so much or not at all. "(I've been asleep for so long,I don't even know what is going on around me.)"Ventus thinks. He then noticed a familiar world. A world he had only visisted once,but he remembered it still. "That's where I confronted Vanitas before meeting at Keyblae Graveyard."Ventus muttered. With that he rose his keyblade runner down into Destiny Islands.

 

He landed down and dismissed her armour and runner. He stared up and stared at the beautiful scenary. Blue skies and crystal clear waters. Soft salty breeze passing by. "This place. I know I remember something else from it. But,I what...?"Ventus wondered as he got his hand to where his heart would be. Something about this world meant special to him,but he couldn't exactly figure it out. He closed his eyes for a bit when suddenly he heard a female voice ask out of nowhere.

 

"Roxas?"

 

Ventus looked up and turned to where the voice came from. He saw this young girl with red hair and blue eyes. Kairi. Ventus turned to her and shook his head. "I do not know anyone by that name. Sorry."Ventus asks. Kairi stared a bit confused. "...Roxas?"She asked again. Ventus once again shook his head. "I'm Ventus. Sorry to not be the one you're looking for."Ventus says as he scratched the back of his head. Kairi shook her head. "Sorry. You just seemed,so familiar to someone..."Kairi muttered.

 

Ventus shrugged. "No worries."Ventus says. He then thought for a moment and looked up at her. "Hey,um..."

 

"Kairi."

 

Ventus noded. "Right. Miss Kairi,have you seen any of my friends? There's this man named Terra. He's about this tall and has spicky brown hair. Also Aqua,who's about this tall and has blue eyes and blue hair."Ventus says as he explained their apperences. Kairi thought for a bit and shook her head. "I don't know any of them. They seem a bit familiar,but,I don't remember very well."Kairi says. Ventus rubbed the back of his head. "Oh well. Thanks anyways."Ventus says as he turned away and got his hands in his pockets.

 

Kairi couldn't help but to notice the medal Ventus had on his uniform. The one with the symbol. It seemed familiar to her,but once again,she couldn't really find out what was it. "Where are you from,Ventus?"Kairi asks. Ventus turned. "Er,um..."Ventus says. He couldn't remember his home world. Where Master Xehanort had found him. So he went with what he knew. "Land of Departure."Ventus says.

 

Kairi tilted her head. "I haven't heard of that world before."Kairi says. Ventus smiled a bit. "Well,that's what I can remember. I really don't remember where exactly they picked me up. But Land of Departure is my home. Terra,Aqua and I trained together and used to watch the stars-"Ventus says when he noticed that Kairi seemed a bit more confused than when he started. He chuckled a bit.

"Right,maybe I should start from the beginning."Ventus says as he summoned his keyblade to show her. Before he could continue Kairi interrupted. "You have a keyblade!"Kairi says. Ventus looked up. "Um,yeah. My friends and masters do as well though."Ventus says. Kairi held her head as it seemed familiar. Kairi looked up. "Do you know Sora?"Kairi asks. Ventus stared. "(Sora again...)"
