People say that Xion is a puppet created by the memories of Sora and Kairi together, transmitted by Roxas into her. ín 358/2, this is mentioned and implied by almost, like, EVERYONE. But after reading hundreds of fanfics and comics, a new suggestion came into my mind. After living in Destiny Islands for so long and seeing Riku touch Terra's Keyblade, Sora realized he was not attracted to Kairi, but to Riku. Riku then wanted to touch everyone's Keyblade, and Sora happily gave him his. Unfortunately Kairi did not have a Keyblade for Riku to touch. Anyway,Sora tried to get closer to Kairi, and maybe even share a paupou fruit with her, because he suspected Riku liked Kairi, and not him. He tried to know as much of Kairi as possible and tried to be just like her. That was his dream. to BE Kairi. When Sora became a Heartless, his homosexuality did not go into his Nobody and was not transfered in any way by Ven, who is obviously not of any gender but tries to hide it. When the Organization made a replica of Sora, she was Faceless and Genderless. But the Memories and dreams of Sora, and what Sora wanted to be were transfered to her indirectly by Roxas. Therefor Xion mirrors Sora's Sexuality. This explain why Xion looks like Kairi and Why she can look just like him near the end of the story. She is normally just Sora's dream-A tranny- but also Sora himself. When Roxas came back to Sora in KH2, Roxas's straightness was also transfered to Sora, who was now Bisexual. He realized he no longer wanted to be Kairi, but his own badass self and impress Riku. When Sora finally found Riku near the end of KH2, He was so happy he cried. But when he saw Kairi he saw the dreams he failed to be. He saw Xion. and since no one cares about her he only hugged her not to make her feel bad. In the end, Riku gave Kairi/Xion a fake keyblade, which he got to touch. Btw, I like xion, and this was a joke.
